Everything, really. Faves include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Etta James, The Who, Hendrix, The Doors. Um um um, its so hard to begin listing them because I feel as if I'm neglecting the musicians that I don't mention. And I love so many!

I know! It's really shitty, I can't even tell you how much it bothers me. It contributes to an intense lack of motivation because if they ask me to stay an hour or two later I think, "Fuck, so I could make another 6 bucks for working while we're understaffed? No thanks"

Weird!

No, isn't Wicker Park in Chicago?

No, no, this ski jumping thing was definitely in Vancouver.

So maybe not Wicker, but something starting from W letter and with Park...

Good mix Eclectic. Although I find that people who describe their own music collection or preferences as "eclectic" (only "eclectic" though :| ) only very rarely have varied musical interests.

I used to get the same! There was a two hour late evening shift (9-11pm), which just seemed so pointless. I would get paid £10 for doing it and would have to go in specially, which meant that with the subtraction of the train fare there and back (£4) I would only make £6 and it would ruin one's Friday or Saturday evening.

My work uniform was so awful. :|

Thanks I honestly like everything, though. So its safe to say that I have "eclectic" taste

Ahaha, wow that seems even more pointless, considering the fare you'd have to pay!

Please do describe that uniform

Hm, I don't know! I can't think of any.

I'm not really into ski jumping, though

Well, the uniform was alright in the end, but when I was first "issued" it is was an absolute disaster. I kind of slowly modified it by slowly substituting various elements with my own clothes, so it was alright until they reissued my uniform just before I left.

See schematic :

uniform.jpg

Shirt: I'm a reasonably tall fellow (6'3") and fairly slim (although I prefer to use my A&F "shirt cut" to describe my physique: muscle ) chap, and the only shirt that they had that fitted me height-wise was an XXL. Ultimately, the huge white shirt made me look like a little stick man. Also, I had to serve the soup and used to get covered in it. The industrial dishwasher also used to soak me, at times making it look like I was entering some kind of wet t-shirt competition. :| I suppose that it at least washed some of the soup away. It was more like a tent.

Trousers: Again being thin-ish (32 at first, now 34 inches) for my height, the only pair of trousers that they had were 4 inches too short for my leg, which meant that I had awful "ankle swingers". :| Worse, the material was really thin and the bottom of the trousers were frayed from the outset.

Shoes: Fell apart after a week .

Tie: Topped off the whole ensemble. 1980s. I looked like an optical illusion. :|

:| . . . I'm not sure that that makes any sense. You kind of had to see it. I just looked an absolute mess.

It was surprisingly bad really, especially as the hospital was pretty swish.

I find it spectacularly difficult using Paint. :| That's my public excuse for the awful handwriting.

Also, just to clarify, I'm not that pink, I don't sport a jaunty quiff, I'm not a giraffe and I don't have hand deformities.

Of course, the checkers were a WHOLE lot smaller than represented in the picture.

& unlike your pic John, this picture is a lot like me, stringy arms, long neck etc.

Well done! Your effort is much better than mine!! The face is really cool.

What job did you use to do?

With the checkered shirt you could be a lumberjack . . . Hmm, that would explain why you and Laffy get on so well.

Want to swap uniforms?

I think that your one suits me much better :

I think that you look better in it than I ever did.

How did you find it at the petrol station? Were you in one of the 24 hours ones? :|

Are you still at school then?

No, it was a 16 hour one..I only worked the weekends, 9 til 5...But i got fed up because i always used to go out saturday nights and i either had to go home earlier than everyone because i had work in the morning or wake up with a hangover.

& besides, my bitch of a boss complained that i never did the work he told me to do, when i clearly did.

Yeah, unfortunately i am...One and a half more years left too.

Lionel Rich-Tea.

Going to work with a hangover.

What do you have to do working at a petrol station, besides selling petrol, obscene magazines and Cornish pasties?

It wasn't just the till, he had me emptying all the bins, sweeping around the courtyards and stocking up on minerals and food.

I'm very lazy, so sometimes i found it hard, but i did do it!

So what are you up to, John?

Minerals?! Did your petrol station double as a health food shop? :| Much classier than the ones here!

I'm sure that you did do all the jobs and that you did them well. . . . When you weren't comatose following your Saturday night out.

What am I doing now, eh? Eating pate on toast while trying to make notes on various types of anaemias. Let the good times roll.

I'm alright but I didn't get up to much on the weekend. I've been flooded with assignments but I did get to play 4 games of futsal on Saturday How have you been?

Boo work!! Ethics again? I've never played 'futsal'; how does it differ as a game from football?

I'm doing well thanks. I had exams last week and have started a new attachment today, which is good news. I too played football at the weekend, but played at right-back instead of centre-back. It was a welcome change as it meant that I could maraud down the right flank. I played pretty well but managed to injure myself while fouling another player. He was one-on-one with me and I figured that I had to win the ball or chop him down, so I chopped him down in the end but did my ankle in. I have pretty pathetic ankles. <_< They're my Achilles heel, so to speak.
