Boo work!! Ethics again? I've never played 'futsal'; how does it differ as a game from football?

I'm doing well thanks. I had exams last week and have started a new attachment today, which is good news. I too played football at the weekend, but played at right-back instead of centre-back. It was a welcome change as it meant that I could maraud down the right flank. I played pretty well but managed to injure myself while fouling another player. He was one-on-one with me and I figured that I had to win the ball or chop him down, so I chopped him down in the end but did my ankle in. I have pretty pathetic ankles. <_< They're my Achilles heel, so to speak.

Nah, it was mental disorders so it wasn't bad at all... I just didn't want to spend my weekends doing work but it looks like it might become my MO because my internship will take over my life for the next 2 years.

futsal is basically indoor football...kinda it's the proper version though... and its not what you play on astroturf! it's 5-a-side and much more fast paced and requires more technique and faster decision making. Definitely good training for outdoor so I suggest you play...also you see the ball 340000x more than outdoor Actually, I haven't played outdoor for more than a year now...indoor is slowly taking over my life :|

I used to play CB as well, and moved onto LB like you! (I'm right footed so I could play on the right flank as well). I've spent a bit of time playing DM (like Xabi ) before I stopped playing outdoor. Do you like being a fullback? I find it really easy to play... you don't need a brain, just fitness and like you, my ankles are glass <_< Hope you get well soon

'Homework' is rather irritating.

Do you use a normal ball? I prefer normal football; I can't use my size as much in 5-a-side. I'm a bit of a 'bully' on the football pitch.

I much prefer centre-back, one has a better view of the pitch and it's a little more exciting. Full back is a bit of fun though, especially when you get to attack. Do you still play regularly now then?

You liked a piece by Millais recently, no? Are you familiar with Dante Gabriel Rossetti? He's from the same period and his poetry is great.

No, it's not an innuendo. I can kick a football really hard.

I've got great accuracy too. :brows:

Still not an innuendo.

I'll never see Berno - or should I say "Piledriver" - in the same way again. :|

Do you have a similarly niche talent or comedy nickname?

Powerhouse. You get good nicknames! Most of mine involve my surname, so I guess are less exciting. (N.B. Surprising as it may seem, my surname is not really Bull. )

How did you get the nickname "Laffy"?

My sisters gave me a really bad nickname when i was younger, it made me really upset.

I'm not saying it though :|
