Apparently? Seriously some ppl need a reality check.

The Appleauto vs. the rest of the Barbara Palvin fans has just about gone code red in her thread. Rather then try and summarize everything I'll post a link to when it started.

^ This  has gone on for 3 pages so far and I've left Appleauto's post as is so you can see why people are getting so angry with her. At the moment the only thing that's going to make these people happy is if Appleauto just stops talking, or is  banned... but she's not to the level of being banned just yet (give it a couple more pages of fighting and maybe), and I doubt AA is going to change her ways to make others happy.

Any ideas on what we can do to help the situation. I've suggested putting her on ignore, but that doesn't stop people from seeing her posts when they're quoted.

Well heres the thing. I think apple is EXTREMELY annoying....but preaching that its not okay for Appletau bash and bait, then letting other members bash him, is NOT okay.

We can't allow him to say that just because he is a popular member of the forum, IMO, then ban or punish other people if they were to say the same thing. 

This is a toughie. Maybe a PM to appletau telling him to tone it down with the rants......and explain to him that it hurts some Barbara fans feelings constantly going over there and hearing bashing about her work, personal life, etc.......And if it continues, then well, thats that.

I've tried in the past to get Apple to calm down but then she just throws "But everyone else is allowed to say what they want" in our faces, and sadly she has a point. AA annoys the hell out of me, but she's not saying anything worse then we've all seen a million times before and have said nothing about. I'll go ahead and PM here though and see if it helps.

I don't think AA's whole post is problematic.Just everything starting with "...She looks like a stuffed Thanksgiving Turkey..." and everything after. This is why we have a Weight Discussion reminder, not to be Nazis or assholes but b/c the topic often provokes exaggerated, petty, unnecessary bullshit arguments. Body bashing downgrades any constructive and relevant discussions. I think AA should at least get an official warning, and maybe a suspension (10 days?) and put on Mod Watch for awhile.

I agree with Kat, it's not okay for Appletau bash and bait but neither is letting other members bash him. All those who crossed the line should get a warning. Whether it is unofficial (via PM) or official depends on what the rest of you think. With that said, thoughts?

I am going to go clean the thread while decide what should be done about all this.

^I agree with everything Pink If we can somehow find a happy medium that would be great....I know its gonna be hard Because Appletau doesn't seem willing to try to make any effort. 

We should really find a way to get it into his head that he might actually be hurting peoples feelings everytime he comes on and rants about Barbara's career. We are all fans on here, obviously. And it sucks going into a thread, and seeing a poster who has a constant negative view about the model/celeb whatever being talked about. If he could somehow get it into his mind, that its not like its annoying, but its actually frustrating to other barbara fans, who may already have concerns about the future of Barbara's career, what shes doing etc.

BTW thanks for being active in Babs thread and taking care of this Pretty! We'll work it out somehow :)

I agree with both of you, and thank you both for your input. It looks like AA is taking measures into her own hands and is leaving? (95% sure she'll be back though)

I'm going to go ahead and give AA a warning for the weight talk.

I know at least Pretty and I have in the past spoken to AA about his behavior. I doubt talking to him again would change anything. He needs to be away from here so he could cool down. I also highly doubt he would leave for good. He might go away for bit but he will comeback and the start the same BS again

I guess Barbara couldn't live up to the hype AA had in her mind? I noticed AA started to become pissy when Babs didn't book VSFS last year. Shortly after the show AA started raging on her weight gain, how she used to be beautiful and she's throwing it all away with her partying, that she was the "it" girl for VS and now she's nothing and it's only gotten worse since.

It reminds me of when a stalker realizes the object of their obsession isn't what they had in their mind, and then they have a mental break and either attempt to kill said fixation of they punish themselves for their idol's flaws.

I could see that.

Spoken to AA a few times too. She's always apologetic, but nothing seems to sink in for very long.

I wonder, if the Palvinites refuse to play nice, whether there would be any value in locking the thread for a short while. It probably wouldn't convince them to stand down altogether, but it might temporarily take the heat out of the trolling, fighting and pop psychology that's evidently so widespread there.

^ Perhaps. As problematic as AA is some of the Palvinites are far from innocent. It is obvious some of them target AA and take any opportunity they could get to attack her b/c it is easy:/ It is like a predator waiting to pounce on a prey.

I've noticed that as well. Hopefully with AA temporarily gone they'll settle down a bit, but I wouldn't be surprised to hear the drama continues on even with AA gone. Sadly they treat the thread like a personal fansite and the moment anyone says anything remotely disparaging they come out in forces to try and correct the offended opinion.

Mary17 has received a warning. She decided that she didn't like what I had to say,  reported my post calling me a racist, sent me a PM insulting me and took the VS thread telling me to fuck off....

Please , she's too sweet . they will start to destroy it so as they have done with candice and Behati just because they start receiving more attention than other angels? if something bothers me and tired of bz these campaigns are created to tarnish the success of any model. few months ago everyone loved elsa and everyone wanted to be an officer Angel and now it is, they want to ruin it ? Stop it .

 
What are you talking about? No one wants to ruin Elsa, and since when does a couple opinions on BZ or anywhere else tarnish her? She's a model, she's going to get criticism every turn... welcome to being a model.

Elsa is one of my favorites, but her body language doesn't lie. Elsa doesn't seem to like being around others regardless if it's nervous or not. Step back, take a chill pill and deal, there is no reason to get so up in arms about a person's comment that you don't happen to agree with.

One thing I have noticed about her is she has been spamming again. I know someone has spoken to her in the past about not posting just for the sake of it. She's been reverting back to her old habit of posting irrelevant content in multiple threads. I have temporarily let it slide, mainly b/c I didn't have the energy to deal with her, by moving her posts into the correct threads and deleting her reposts. I was planning to send her a "reminder" soon but I guess I will wait until the situation with Pretty cools off

Yanno what I love the most? When they don't see the Moderator/Admin tags then decide to report us talking tons of shit thinking we won't see it.

It's not uncommon to meet new people here on BZ but the way this person approached me with a million questions about models and attributes I like about each one was very odd and out of the usual normal social conduct; if there is one

So far nothing in the wrong just very unusual approach and ??? abound so far as to a possible fake or the likes.

I think we should keep an eye on them for awhile, just to be sure something isn't shady with them.

Also something isn't sitting right about this combo...

Both from the same place in Italy, one using a cell phone to vote, the other using normal internet, and they tend to vote very quickly after one another. If they were friends I could understand, but the two simply do not seem to interact at all on the forum. Lost is also a brand new account and only seems to go into my comps, the VS model match, and the VSFS thread.
