Hmm, strange one. So, what was Pastafreak's reasoning behind creating the account for someone else? Was the Weibo guy having trouble signing up or something?

The account for him is primarily to keep up with the ins and outs of VSFS, especially since China hasn't had the best of news sources until this year, and it will go back to the same ol next year. I can vouch for his honesty though, I think it's just the account that he needed help with. Is there any other concerns that you might have? Let me know if the username change could be done. Otherwise, I'll just explain to him our circumstances, but I do sincerely hope he's allowed to be a member under BZ.  And the reason why he's requesting for a username change is that he wants to avoid being detected by his Weibo fans, it's for the sake of being discreet. 

 

If this person has a limited understanding in English how are they suppose to participate and post info on the forum? PF initially told me the reason he started the account for this personal was so this person could participate when I lock the thread for members-only Also, many of the info from this person's Weibo has not been credible and when it is credible it from published  sources that everyone has access to.

Overall, as long as he keeps his nose clean when he gets here, I don't particularly have a problem with it. Unless you think he has an ulterior motive of some sort, in which case I'll back you up on whatever you decide.

While I'm here, just wanted to make it known that I've agreed to sort Kells out with another name change. I was given to understand that a similarly-named user who registered years ago had just suddenly started posting again out of the blue, and I felt like some confusion could have potentially arisen going forward. So with that in mind, I told her I'd be willing to make an exception to our rule. As long as it's just this once, of course.

I have a bad and uncertain feeling about the situation I think to be on the safe side and decrease the chances of potential issues we should not allow the second account. If the Weibo user wants to be part of BZ he would need to register himself

I am pretty sure she has at least 2 other accounts here...

Google translate is there for a reason, and as such I see no reason why the Weibo user can't make an account on his or her own o.o

The member I was referring to is La Vie Est Belle (a.k.a. kells.) Pretty sure she is Jade/Maiya/Wildflowers/Desir and whatever other account she has here.

That and most people in urban and suburban China could read basic English. Our registration form is easy enough you don't need to know a lot of English to be able to figure it out  

Speaking of second accounts, a couple of people have been in touch about Niels Von Something-or-other creating one. Not sure why he's done it, but I'm looking into it.

I got a PM from MauiKane and I'm a little blinky cause I have no idea what's going on, much less how one would go about doing something like this.

The persons username was "Your password". Nothing to do with passwords. Just an confusing username. 

This guy is causing a lot of problem in Candice's thread. I've given him a warning and placed his posts to Moderate Content till he learns he can be so abusive.  I'm going to clean up his posts right now
