When corrected she had to make another "questioning" statement about him being racist. I've asked her once to stay out of my comp, she ignored. I told her to stay out of the comp, and she's ignored me. I cleaned up the convo because I just don't want the negativity in the thread. If she continued to instigate with passive aggressive snarks and jabs at me (something she's been warned about in the past) I'll be putting her on mod watch

I attempted to talk to her, ask her what's going on and all she did was deflect. When I pointed out she was deflecting she acted like I said nothing to her

And now Sanni is basically calling a model a whore who fucked her way to the top in the VSFS. I poked Pheno who said she was going to take care of it.  I want an official vote on if she should be put on Mod Watch (where her post have to be approved before they show up).

I also think we should update the rules on what's acceptable to say and what's not. People seem to be getting way out of hand with their opinions lately and while I'm all for freedom I speech, I believe there should be consequences for saying certain things.

Who did she call a whore now? O.o i agree with putting her on Mod watch. She's just practically begging for it at this point.

I think there is a broader issue here, which is indeed acceptable rhetoric in model threads.

Sanni is not the only member who continually or at least regularly flirts with the line there.

On the other hand, I don't want to make the rules too strict so we end up with topics which are basically just lavishing praise uncritically and nothing else.

There has to be a middle ground between members who go around calling models whores and then the other extreme where members lose their shit when someone makes even a remotely critical post about a model.

Very good points. I'm wondering if we can sit down and reword some of the rules to make it a little clearer what's acceptable and what's not without them feeling like we're making things to hard here.  @phenobarbie is excellent at stuff like this, so maybe she can help out.

One of the things Pretty and I were talking about the other day is that there is a difference between opinion and fact. Saying someone is ugly, or fat, (while not acceptable terminology) is 100% opinion and is subjective to what you physically find attractive. Saying someone is a whore, or in the case of Lorena, "fucked her way to the top" has the potential, (however slim) to be damaging to her career. I think it's safe to say you have enough insiders/models in the fashion community who come on this that comments like that have the possibility to make people question integrity and or if they want association with their brand.

Again saying someone is ugly is a visual representation of what they look like and someone can make an opinion on their own without taking anything else said to the contrary. However making defamatory remarks about how someone got to their current position, be it nepotism, pandering, brown nosing or fucking can lead to negative and/or positive brand recognition. Some companies are obviously more strict about this then others.

Well the difference between the two would be the potential for being accused of libel.

So calling someone ugly would be pretty safe in that regard. Claiming that someone is a whore might not be.

This is the conversation that stemmed from him reporting Claudia after she cleaned up the posts in Adriana's thread.  I've informed him he was put on mod watch, which Prettyphile had already done, so he is now aware that his posts won't be seen until one of us approve it. I would probably push harder for a ban if I didn't know that English wasn't his first language. But he is incredibly rude and disrespectful and doesn't seem to have any remorse for what he said initially.
