Well, I say "conspiratorial" not in reference to people expressing reasonable scepticism or genuine reservations about current policies. Rather to those who have seemingly identified our forum's model section as an appropriate place to fantasise about the pandemic being engineered by the government to some nefarious end, symptoms being caused by 5G, and suchlike. The former is a discussion that I believe people should be able to have, albeit one that's always likely to reach the same impasse. The latter is something that I don't consider a good look for BZ and I make no apologies for that. Not trying to sound stroppy, just clarifying.

Well the whole "why do people still need to wear masks if we are rolling out the vaccine" discussion is really about missing the point what the vaccines' ultimate goal is.

It's less about giving personal protection to the person getting it (though that is a part of it of course).

It is about achieving herd immunity, which you need at least 70% of your population inoculated for.

So the reason why the mask mandates are still in place is that most countries aren't close to that number.

Even Israel, the world leader at this moment hasn't achieved it yet. But I'm guessing once they do, and other countries do, mask mandates will be loosened considerably.

What kind of people are we talking about here, exactly?

I don't think anyone has been hostile to a person who has spoken about not wanting the vaccine for whatever personal reason.

I'm talking about idiots who come on here to spam the forum with conspiracy theories about the vaccines being a Bill Gates designed microchip or something.

I don't see what value those people add to the forum experience, personally.

Especially considering there are countless other places for people super-interested in that kind of content.

You realize that the above statement is hostile by it's very nature. You're calling people idiots because they share a different set of views then you or a portion of society.

I don't believe these discussions belong in the models threads, however we have a general section for a reason. We aren't thought police, and so long as things stay civil people should be able to voice what opinions they want.

I don't think it's "hostile" to say that people who believe in miniature microchips being masked as vaccine shots add little of value to BZ. You are welcome to disagree, of course.

Also, the entire discussion was started because I cleaned up someone spamming Candice topic with that stuff. So I don't know what exactly the argument is about here.

I am also amused by the notion that my statement is "hostile" when BZ is filled with topics where just about every group imaginable is called some variation of the word retard in the general subforum topics.

Anti-vaxxers can be ridiculed just as much as libtards, as far as I'm concerned.

Calling an entire group of people idiots is hostile. Some of the most obscure “ridiculous” conspiracy theories have in the past come out as being factual. That doesn’t mean we need to believe everything that is said or even endorse the thoughts but it also doesn’t mean we need to be disparaging to someone’s difference of opinion. 
As for how this conversation started. Yes you went in and cleaned up Candice’s thread but you then went on to basically say you didn’t feel Bellazon as a whole should allow this train of conversation. I disagreed. People expressed their opinions and here we are. 
I don’t feel like we should police people’s thoughts and opinions because we disagree with them. That sounds like an entirely different time in history or a George Orwell novel. Neither of which had great endings.

I don't see the added value in the most batshit insane conspiracy theories, no. It's also not the primary appeal of BZ to the large majority of its users, who primarily come here to enjoy content related to models and various celebrities. And there are many other platforms who cater to that (conspiracy theories) kind of content anyway.

Completely different subject but do we have any stance on posting model's kids social media content? Someone posted some stuff from Adriana's daughter TikTok and I'm pretty sure her account is private, even though Adriana is in the video, something about people getting content from a 10yo's social media doesn't sit well with me.

We might want to start paying a little more attention to Cult Icon.  The way he's been speaking to Kiki is just odd. He calls her mommy, tells her he wants to impregnate her (among other shit), and when I made mention of it he kinda brushed it off.

Then I started to look at his past interactions with her and they're always him hedging around the idea of them having kids, or just being super creepy.

Cult Icon has had this weird kind of interactions with Kiki for a long while now.

I find it very odd behavior myself but I haven't yet intervened since it doesn't seem to really bother Kiki?

I'm not sure why we would ban him at this point. According to our rules he hasn't done anything wrong with regards to this situation. Unless she's bringing legal action against him, or we're being contacted by law enforcement I'm not sure what our responsibility is here.

I feel fairly strongly that unless the aforementioned things happen we shouldn't be disclosing any of his personal information or private messages either.
