Ill see what I can do.

Hopefully we can do something, maybe we can force them to complete a CAPTCHAs?
I've been checking their IP's and they're from all over the world, so we can't go with that. Maybe till they go away we should approve of new members before they gain access the bz?

They're still going at it :(

Yea it looks like a lot of forums are getting hit atm. I upgraded our captcha to something more difficult, lets see if that helps at all.

Just had a few more

Yeah, they're still spamming. :/

The spammers are coming from India.
Now these same people are sending spam using random IP addresses all over the world.

Just flagged a bunch of them a few hours ago, entire female models section was nothing but spam topic for the first few pages.

I think it might be worse today. I've just banned at least 30 people, and I'm still cleaning cleaning threads. Every time I refresh the page there's brand new spam :(

Just deleted 40+ pages of it. Iām headed to work now though. Sorry to leave this to you all :(

I've gone into the Admin section and chosen to delete flagged spammer posts. When they arrive in waves, failing to do so would leave the staff with 6-10 pages to sift through in search of legitimate member posts, even though those posts are hidden. What I've noticed is they seem to wait till no staff are around, or we aren't actively posting, then they go at us with 30 accounts at a time.

Thanks everyone. I keep on increasing the difficulty of the captcha but looks like the bots (ai) are able to get around it these days. I have been deleting a ton as well.

Yea I wouldnt bother trying to IP ban, probably spoofing IPs and stuff. Ill keep looking to see what else we can implement.

Eventually (hopefully) they'll move on to somewhere else. I just don't see the point in them coming at us like this. I'm sure they've figured out we're just going to delete and ban them.

So don't try to IP ban? That's what I have been doing but if you want me to stop I will. TBH I agree IP banning doesn't seem to be doing much š

I'm emotionally invested in the banning route lol. Feels like a tiny victory and I'm here for it.

You can if you want, but right now im just clicking on their usernames and clicking flag as spammer. It should report it back to 'stopforumspam' and IP block them there, which should help others, but not sure how well the system works.
