@[solo] (aka. Spark) has passed I know some of us have had our issues with him but he was nonetheless a BZ founding member and contributed greatly during BZ's early days.

@ALPAT I don't understand why you're putting a person on a 20 day post suspension for posting "Thanks for the images" "Thanks for posting" ect. and then ignoring another member doing the same thing. Not gonna lie, you're going extremely hard on these people and it's unnecessary.  The first guy is not bumping his post count, he's saying thank you and you gave him shit for it?

vs, The guy you ignore doing the same exact thing.

We cannot have a double standard. People get upset when they aren't thanked for adding to the forum, and then you're turning around banning them for giving thanks.

Forum is little too gestapo like, something needs to change.

I understand there are differences
Ramsfan has been a member of the forum since 2010 and has made many contributions. Thanking is only one part of his participation.

rxqxor has less than 400 messages and they are only thank yous indiscriminately and without caring much about who they are about (many famous people totally unknown to me for example).

I explained to him privately in a friendly way that he should stop Quoting Images & Videos.. along with the thank you.. and I succeeded...

I am confident that, next time, he will start making contributions.

If you think that the sanction was excessive and lends itself to confusion, please take the liberty of lifting it.

So...... because he thanked people for their contributions in threads of people you don't know..... he gets penalized?

Should we put a banner on the top of the forum that says if you haven't been around for over 10 years and/or you don't know where or how to find pictures you shouldn't talk because thanking people for their contributions is considered spam?

 I really liked your old name, but do what you gotta do to mix it up. Ive probably been using mine longer than 18years (man im old :ninja:)

Back in the day Wentworth Miller die hard fans called him 'The Pretty,' and we were known as Prettyphiles, hence the old name. Now, when I hear that term, all I can think of is pedophile. o.o

There’s something about the macabre I've always been drawn too (Goth since the 90's). I love Victorian mourning attire, lost post-mortem photos, spirits, hauntings, dead pressed flowers and so on, so this name works better.
