Off topic but I just saw the post that stated SI thread only available to people with more then 50 posts? Um when did this happen or what was the logic? Any high profile thread (SI, VS...) brings in a lot of traffic from Google which pays the bills with the ads. Making it so that only people with 50+posts can post, thats fine. But not being able to see it all together, dont think thats good.

Can someone tell me when this happened and what was the logic. Sorry I missed it

Mj's all kinds of pissy about BZ correctly guessing her teaser pics and she's just about had one or two aneurism in the last week because of it, well that and the leak by the paps. Mj has also sent a number of her cronies to spy on BZ to make sure we aren't relaying info she doesn't deem worthy of being leaked.

We just thought it would be easier to keep her from flipping a bitch further since she seems to not want to take responsibility for her own actions in releasing easy to figure out teaser pics.

We could make the section visible on the main page but I wouldn't make the threads accessible to the general public or anyone who has less than 50 posts. The petty drama is just not worth it. I actually think by keeping the section somewhat private it would increase membership b/c BZ is already known to be good resource when it comes to SISE.

The vast majority of our traffic are guests that never log in. Since we do not have a subscription model the more members doesnt really increase the value of the forum unless we want to sell (which we dont). 

Anyways do you remember the date this was implemented and I can take a look at our traffic numbers and then we can go from there? Thanks

Just my thoughts, I agree with Pink, I think it will encourage people to post more on BZ (hopefully correlating to good posts, not just posts so they get to see the thread) to get up to that 50 count, and hopefully start more traffic in other areas of the forum as well

btw it's already working... A person who's been here since 07 and has made very little attempts at posting just made 35 posts in one day just to hit 50.

If I remember correctly, I don't think it is one of MJ's lackeys b/c the member is from Ireland. 

I'd bet the life of my mother he works for the paps,or some online site like Daily Mail

I wish there was a way to keep the info about the SI thread being visable only to those with 50 posts hush hush? I see alot of people all of a sudden also posting little comments on each thread, now at 50 hmmm

^ Another option is Password Protect the section. Like in order for you to request for the password you must have at least 50 posts.

^That could work That way we can decide those who are making genuine posts and are loyal members as opposed to those just trying to get their post count up

Wouldnt it just be better to just ban that person then punish everyone for their actions? Im still not really onboard with this 50post requirement. The guys and girls of BZ section makes perfect sense to have "private" but things like this I dont think should be. 

Maybe old threads are visible to all and new ones are visible but you can only post if you have X number? or something along those lines? 

Who are we supposed to ban or punish when we have no idea who Mj or her cronies are on the forum, all we know is that she has people on this forum (designers and such) who report back to her. And then we have sites like Daily Mail who show up, take our info verbatim, post it on their sites and we get zero credit. That's not fun for us.

And the 10.5% could honestly be because very few people were around starting from the time I woke up 9 am est to till when I went to bed. (I was checking most of the day dealing with PM's and reports)

Overall it's been slow for awhile and it pretty much gets like this every year around summer

Kinda random but....I think it would be cool if we could somehow have the banner going all the way across the top of the site. Theres alot of blue space up there, it just looks kinda bland to me IMO. Also when on the main page, would be nice to also have something going down the side of the page/and/or move the banner advertisment to there, and fill the top with the banner we got now/larger longer banner with models in it

^Maybe we could keep a similar template, just add more models? I know we still probably have quite a few from the logo comp. And we know Donbot is a photoshop master

I just think more use of the space would look nice

Guys, how sure are we that members who report can see our responses in the little comment box underneath?
