Hello,

Can you please tell me what has happened with few threads I made in fashion models thread and posted my scans there? I am saying that about Marija Kurjacki, Sandra Grahovac, Marina Djordjevic, Zorana Kostic Obradovic threads in fashion models thread sector. Now when I click on them i just get this error

It was my fault they got removed. I was trying to clean up 3-4 pages of DanniCullens one name models threads, and I think I accidentally clicked a couple of extra boxes during the prune.

Boss Man, any idea why certain topics wouldn't show up in search results after they have been restored?

The search index generation only happens a few times a day, so you probably tried too early. I tried

Hey gang, apologies for disappearing on you. Just returned home after a week's holiday.

I've a new-found respect for the admin team, the system CP area is quite a bit to take in. I'll have a good look around now and try to get myself up to speed.

As for further additions to the mod squad, if he's definitely up for it, I'd be in favour of Joe returning. For a second nomination, I’d be happy to see any one of the aforementioned members come on board. However, with tzdon being such a strong candidate at the time of our last intake, I'd like to throw his name into the discussion too.

so just a heads up I'm gonna be heading back to school in a week, and I'm taking on a heavy load of credits this fall. So it would be awesome if we could get another mod in ASAP to help you guys out

TBH all are amazing candidates! 

Apparently Joe is still listed as a mod for his secondary group, so he's been helping out as needed.

Also any word on when we'll get a fix for this Boss Man? I haven't been able to edit my stuff in 2+ months, not sure about anyone else, or if the problem wide spread, or just a few of us getting hit with the unlucky stick.

I get an error message when I attempt to save my edits in this section.  What's going on?  Do others have this problem?

Guys, I just received an inquiry via PM regarding the whereabouts of the Fashion Models A-Z directory. I checked it out and it looks as if it's been deleted, so I thought it best to run it past everybody first. Do we want it to stay gone or is it okay to reinstate?

Come to think of it, I don't think I've seen the directory in months actually. It doesn't matter to me what happens to it, I'll go with the majority though

Hi there. I want to ask a question because im troubled by the latest "rules" made by new admins regarding model thread who only have first name available. I made a topic for many models over the years I have been here, and yes, some of there last names were never posted online untill now or still not even online. Now they were deleted and other members have now re-created them or I have had to re-create them. it has never been posted that this wasnt allowed and now at least two pages of models topics I made over the last 3/4 years I have been here they are gone. Why is this? No one asked me before deletion? And if notified before hand I would of tried to go back through old topics and sort them out when I did have break away from my life and work to find names or update topics. Im not saying its your fault in any way, but can you not re-store them some how and give me the chance to try and find there last names, etc? And if i cant, then yes, they can be deleted again. I think that would be fair? At least to me, because I spent the time I did have introducing new models to the forum and finding what info I could of them to post 

I think that we shouldnt just delete it immediately, we should get info form the original poster if they have the full name and they can update it. Or if they find another topic that was already started we can merge the two. Thoughts?

Could this girl be anymore backstabby about the situation?

It's been explained to her countless times that we need threads with a first and last name so everyone has a chance to participate in the thread by finding pics and making the thread expand. And we also need a last name to help keep duplicate threads to a bare minimum .  Do you want to scroll though 2-3 pages of one named topics while she takes weeks, if not month (if ever) to find a last name? And what happens if within the time she's looking for a last name someone else creates the same thread because they happen to know the models last name?  What do we do then, listen to her bitch because SHE created the thread first, so we need to merge the second thread with hers.

Danni doesn't get it. All she wants to do is bitch to everyone behind my back in hope of getting her stuff resolved the way she wants it. Danni has had an overwhelming need to have the highest thread count and any mention of something she doesn't like makes her go super irky mode. This girl has outright wormed her way into getting exactly what she wants time and time again, and I'm not going to put up with her anymore.

Oh ok, she seems to take these threads a little too seriously. A few months ago she asked me if she could take credit for a thread, there were two threads open for the same model... I made the thread first and so she asked if it would be OK for her to take credit. I like finding new models, but It doesn't matter who makes the thread first so I said yeah if the mods say yes/ its OK then that's fine with me. She said she asked Joe Average who said it was fine but that id have to personally PM you guys for the approval. So I told a moderator that it was fine by me ( I believe it was you who I PM'd) Then you merged the threads together.

I'll always go with majority rule, but I'll stand by my decision to remove her asinine amount of one named posts, and I personally think to create a thread you need to have a first and last name or it becomes a one person thread who can happen to find pictures of them because they found her modeling agency. There's a reason we have the I.D thread.

I thought she was refering to threads she made a while ago (years?) not something that she is doing recently. So if I understand her main complaint is that when threads are merged they have someone else first? I thought IPB just merges by date? 

No you can pick and choose which thread will be the main regardless of creation date, and no I never deleted her topics from years ago.. I had two pages of first name threads that were created within the last couple of months. (give or take a couple of  threads that might have of been created a year or so ago).

Also some of the threads Danni's made had members come in and give the model's last name, and yet Danni still couldn't be bothered to PM us and let us know to change the thread title so that last name was included.

What's the new topic's url? I can merge them together if you don't want to.

I guess the only reason I thought I would ask is where does it stop though? Like is she gonna wanna have all of her deleted one named threads merged with anybody who creates the new thread with the full name?

On one hand, I understand that sometimes agencies list the model with just one name or a shortened one letter last name, etc. But honestly it doesn't take a little more than some extra work and research and you can usually find the models full name. I mean I don't think one named threads shouldn't be allowed, but we should find a way to be stricter and create more guidelines with the one name models. Like they must be listed as one name on the most current agency, etc.

Onto Danni I still remember when she created a "new" Luma Grothe thread, posted all the pics from the original thread that others (including me) uploaded, using the same image links and everything, then went ahead and tryed to get the original thread deleted so it would look like she created and built this model thread

And I agree with everything you said. Where does it end? How much longer is she going to bitch and why does she feel a need to try and go around our backs to talk to the Boss Man about stuff we've already mentioned. She doesn't care enough to listen to us Kat, and I don't think us caving to her every want and need is going to make the situation better.

No 1 named topics, do your research, or use our Model ID thread, it's not that hard of a concept.
