Does what Dinah is saying in nyc_rocks, thread remind anyone of the assload of posts I just deleted from Ana's candid thread?

I mean I just feel like the way they type is too similar to be coincidence. All of a sudden out of the blue, she is pushing to ban people (quasicartes) and starting arguments over rascism, all within the same two day span.

Not to mention the use of the word love, strangely reminiscent of both Brooke and Ariessd, which I now know are one and the same even though, she continues to PM me under both names.

Well she PMed neo about banning brasil, then asks you to warn or suspend quasicartes, now she is continueing to egg on nyc, when she could have just let it drop. None of that strikes anyone as strange? Especially for a person, who from the posts I normally read is pretty up beat and doesn't seem to act this way normally.

It just seems strange that all of a sudden she, seems ingrained in everything.

lullaby also suggested we do like lime light and turn of registering and only turn it on once in awhile...that we we have members who post and not have idle members.

Dude, don't do that. So many reasons...

1. Discourages people from registering... I happened to discover ChilaX during the BOTY period when reg'ing was disabled. I wanted to register but couldn't. I left, and totally forgot about it till weeks later when I found it again by chance. So even just disabling it for a few weeks can make you lose members

2. Members register for other reasons than just posting... Many forums (not here perhaps, but many others) limit the things guests can do (other than posting.. e.g. member-only subforums, searching disabled, viewing profiles, etc), so people register to see if there are any member-only goodies. Also, members may want to PM members. Anyway who said someone must post to count as a "true" member?

3. Why do it? We aren't trying to cut down on the number of members. The more members we have, the bigger we look, which in turn brings more members... people don't register so much on small forums...

There really is no point doing that. Keep it how it is on that regard.

You know, those are 3 good reasons.

If we restricted registration I would always worry, that someone didn't or wasn't able to register, that had some info or something that I would like to hear, you know, like a model appearance somewhere, like a magazine or what not.

Not to mention we wouldn't have so many colorful people arounds to chat with even though, I don't really chat with anyone. But a lot of other people do.

I agree with the people can be true members even though they don't post, though the ones that haven't been active since November 23, that may be pushing it a bit.

The way Dinah is acting, I'm pretty close to giving her a warning... anyone agree?

i told her...if you want to tell angie about what happened...PM her and tell her....but she kept insisting....i kept editing what she said to nyc rocks.

I just warned the "guy" who reg'ed to attack nyc in his thread (very possible Dinah in disguise).
