You will need something like Adobe Imageready to combine all of the screen shots into an animation. It comes with Photoshop CS, which If you don't have it, I think there might be someone here who can help you get it. Neo makes a lot of gifs with Imageready, he might be able to help better than I to explain how exactly to go about creating a gif using Photoshop and Imageready. I haven't made one in a long time.

Using Photoshops batch feature will help out a lot, so that you don't have to edit and resize each screenshot individually, but I think there is a thread in Computers and Internet that lox made to help with that.

Ok, I got ImageReady..

Alright, once you have all of the screen shots you want to make your gif out of, and you have them cropped and resized to the size you want the gif to be, Open Imageready.

Select File-->Import-->Folder as Frames

Then select the folder which your screen shots are in.

A box should appear at the bottom of the screen, that has each of your frames next to each other, you can press play and watch your gif here, as well as remove frames, slow frames down, and other things.

There will also be a box at the top which shows a single frame. Inside this box are 4 tabs :Original, Optimized, 2-up and 4-up. You will need to select Optimized.

There are a multitude of settings you can adjust to make your gif appear differently, on the right side of the screen you can mess with colors and stuff.

On your toolbar you should see an Internet Explorer icon, maybe Firefox depending on what your are using I don't know. You can click this to get an idea of what your finished gif will look like.

When you are completely finished and you have adjusted your gif to your liking, select File-->Save Optimized As. In order for your gif to be animated you must save it as Optimized, regular "Save As" will just produce a still frame.

I think that's the basib gyst of how to get started making a gif.

I can't seem to make screenshots with my DVD player.. and WMP won't do them too.. <_<

Yeah that's something I think Microsoft needs to fix, Media Player should be able to make screenshots. I use the software that came with my dvd player, I haven't used Windvd before.

You might want to try BS Player, I know for sure that that can give you screen shots, though I don't think it can play dvd directly from the disc, you may have to rip the disc afterall. Though with BS Player, after about the 70th screencap, it turns them all green and I have to shut it down and start again. That could just be a problem on my comp though.

Other than my dvd player and bs player, I don't know really of any other program that gives good screen shots.

Oh I had no doubt about that, I just thought you might find it amusing. Someone over there has been pestering her to upload the supposedly 2 hour long FTV version of the 2003 VS Fashion Show, so I'm waiting to see if she actually pulls that one off.

About that other video, I tried to upload it last night, and my connection is only allowing 8kb upload at the moment, I tried cutting it into pieces and uploading to rapidshare, and my upload speed is the same. At almost 700mb it's gonna take me days to upload it. So this time it is on my end and not the server I'm uploading it too. It's gonna be much quicker for you to download those pieces on your own. My download speeds form there were fluctuating a lot but that is probably another problem on my end. It's really not that difficult.

Yeah, it's real, real easy, just add .001, .002 and so on after each file, so that it doesn't over write the previous one. They are just regular Mpeg files.

I uploaded this joiner for you though, to put them together Simple File Joiner, just open this program, add all parts of the video, and then click join, and it does the rest.

I think my internet problems have to do with the box outside, I went and checked it yesterday, it's open and all of the cables are all fucked up. So I'm thinking about calling comcast and seeing if they can come out and replace the box or at least clean it up so it runs better.

The guy outofdark, mentioned over there that he's sorry that he sided with chloee originally, and that maybe you were right about her afterall, Then she came in and posted what I posted above. She paid to get into HITW Gang website, and I know they have some exclusive stuff, which she provided a small piece one video of a while back. Maybe she can actually provide the show, just have to wait and see. It is unlikely though.

Yeah, I noticed win media player, has some trouble playing it at first too, but once it got going it was alright.

Sure didn't. Carsten may be a prick, but not stupid, he knew he would be doing exactly what I posted in that post over there if he had banned me. Then everyone would have been able to see exactly what I was talking about. Too bad he didn't ban me, as it would have worked out perfect.
