Yeah, it sounds like your still used to the cold up here, Cali can't get that tolerance to cold out of your system that quick.

Well, it sounds like he is taking a certain amount of seperate files, raring them indivudually, to send over to you. If you want one big file after you get all the files, you are still going top have to have an editor to put them together without them being out of sync. Simple file joiners, will always skew the audio, and things will get out of sync. But it's fine if you have an editor to put them together once you get them all.

When you rar a large file into volumes, it automatically splits the large file into whatever size pieces you specify. So if you want 200mb volumes, you input 200M and it will split the 2.4gb file into 12 or 13 volumes, the first 12 with file sizes just shy of 200mb, and the 13th file will end up being the remainder of the file. Then once you recieve all files, you put all of the files into a folder, open one, and there you have your uncut file, winrar will have put it all together for you without skewing the audio out of sync. All you have to do is unrar it, and it's together again.

It makes it so you won't need an editor to put the pieces together if you want a single file at the end. But if you don't mind the file being in pieces or what not then it doesn't matter and this way is fine for that, or if Keith is just working with the seperated pieces and not one single file the way he's doing it is fine too.

Their pretty good films, there worth paying regular price for, for sure. I'll always be looking for an alternative to paying if it exists though. I'm cheap and poor I can't help it really.

The real problem with having multiple files, is your going to have to find a way to put them back together, and if you don't have an editor it's gonna be difficult. We need a single file to input into Gordian Knot to be able to shrink it down. I mean we could shrink each file by themselves also, but at the end we are still left with multiple files we will have to put back together.

It just makes it easier, no video editing required on your part after recieving the files. Just encoding.
