awww i agree though. i know when SE created doctor_d's thread, i had to ask around to see if any admins had been asked before i could delete it. so it would be a very good idea if the person who gave approval would just mention it here

I feel like my eyes are about to bleed, I seriously need new contacts. On top of that being so tired, makes it that much worse.

You know that's a big responsibilty, you'll have to take care of feeding it, and bathing it and changing it's diapers until it's old enough to fend for itself. Not to mention what your out of pocket costs are going to be when it starts smoking three packs a day, don't even get me started on that. :|

As for that movie, they do seem to want to get it over with real quick there at the end. It's all like, "Ah man, Aliens are tearing us a new asshole". Then they just die within seconds, bitches. :evil:

That's how it would really be though, they would come down here, kick our ass for long periods of time, finally come across or repetoire of inspirational alien smackdown movies, and just give up upon viewing them. It's just simple facts, aliens can't win here.

OK well, Ashley has expressed interest in being a moderator. I think she would actually be good at it... you know as long as she doesnt have banning powers she should be ok But she does have a tendency to both help people out when they are "lost" which isnt a requirement of a mod but is definitely useful, and also, she keeps people in check Plus she is here often enough to actually get stuff done, so that's always nice.

I also know, that GOCHO at some point, did offer to step down because he knew he wasnt doing much around here...but at the time, we didnt have someone else interested in moderating so there didnt seem to be a point. But if GOCHO is still willing to step aside as he said, we've got a person willing to do the job.

What do the admins think?

or we can set Gocho's secondary as mod so he can still hang out in here with us

Yea i agree, no demoting, GOCHO is cool, and we need someone cool to come kick it with us here

i'm sorry but when did being a mod have to do with one's coolness factor? this is complete crap, and you know it. while i dont think GOCHO necessarily has to be demoted, the reasons you are offering aren't particularly substantial.

might i also add that no other moderator has been treated in such a manner...they didnt do their jobs they got sent back to being a regular old member. doesnt mean they werent cool or werent liked. it means they werent doing their job and no longer deserved to be in this area.

is there a way to upgrade the moderators. in the sense make a new group with the admin status and they just cant see the admin panel, that way the mods can see invisible people too?

oh yes, well...i know Capt Snow is fine with making Ashley a mod, and he figured that the rest of the staff wouldnt have a problem with it. so in this case i dont think he'd have a problem with your upgrading her status to mod if you so choose, marduk
