he will need 55,555,556 Sheets of paper.

54lines divided by 3 line for each person = 18 people per page

1,000,000,000 divided by 18 = 55,555,556

So far anyways.

2. A) if the average person gets 30 pounds of presents, how many tons of presents will be on a sleigh?

B) If one reindeer can pull 10 tons, how many reindeer would santa need?

C) if the average person gets 2 cubic feet of presents, how many classrooms would be filled with presents?

3. santa works from midnight until 6.00 AM. How much time does santa have to visit each house? how many houses must he visit each second? Allow for 4 people per household and 24 time zones.

4. if each household upholds its part of the venerable tradition and leaves 2 cookies (1/2 ounce each) and a glass of milk (6 ounces), and santa consumes it all-how many tons of cookies would he eat? how many gallons of milk would he drink? a gallon of milk weighs about 8 pounds. how much would the milk weigh? a full size milk truck hauls about 6000 gallons of milk. how many trucks would be needed to haul all the milk the santa would drink(1 trip each)?

there... :evil:

ok the answer to part a is 56,000,000 pages rounded or 55,555,557(exact).

how i got it was:

there are 1,000,000,000 people

each name takes 3 lines on the list so;

1,000,000,000x3=3,000,000,0000

and 54 names can fit on the list so;

3,000,000,000/(divided)54=55,555,557

For the first question B.)

55,555,556 sheets divided by 5000 =11111 * 49.766 = 552,950 lbs or 276,475 Tons

This is probably so wrong I haven't done math in a long time, but we'll see what Supra comes up with.

30x30x8.23 =7407 cubic feet for a single classroom

55,555,556 sheets divided by 7407 cubic feet per classroom = 7500 classrooms, maybe

i got the same answer for lbs as capt did but my tons are different

i converted the pounds into kilos (multiply by.454, and then there is 1000 kilos in a ton so i timezed it..lemme check the answer now..)
