cuz i cleaned the whole mess up and if i wanted i could have given several members warnings but i chose not to so to hand out a warning after the whole thing has been cleared up is really pointless to me

It doesnt matter if we consider them a friend or not. if someone breaks the rules than that person gets their warning level increased. I was actually more interested in this quote,

So basically he just said "Fuck you Taben" as that is the person he is referring to when he says "If someone has a problem", and arguably Barry.

Taben says "from an outside point of view, lim looks like a stalker". lim spits back that taben is a faggot, which unless someone is completely dense, is exactly what lim said only referring to it as "pun intended", reading between the lines is not too difficult. Because he tries to hide what he really means does not give him any right to say it.

So if I were to say you "looked" like a stalker, not that you "are" a stalker, would you be more or less offended than if I were to call you a faggot? I think the word faggot carries a little more weight than stalker personally, when thrown around.

You have to look at what people say and how they say it. lim is getting everything he deserves in regards to the warning.

He wasn't stating that Taben was gay as a fact, he was using the term in a deragatory way to try to degrade him. Pretty clear difference. Taben said that lim looked like a stalker, lim called taben gay. Whether or not we think that taben thinks lim is a stalker, is irrelevant as Taben never directly called him a stalker. On the other hand, there is no disputing that lim called taben gay, and meant exactly what he said.

I don't know why this needs this much discussion.

And that is the stuff we do not need in here, the members should be faceless, when it comes to discussing them and what to do in cases like this. You bring things in like that and people get sympathetic, and all this stupid arguing becomes a factor, when it really should be a very simple procedure of simply doing what we are supposed to do when these things come about.
