I was actually more interested in this quote,

"If someone has a problem w/ it fuck you because i dont care."

So basically he just said "Fuck you Taben" as that is the person he is referring to when he says "If someone has a problem", and arguably Barry.

Taben says "from an outside point of view, lim looks like a stalker". lim spits back that taben is a faggot, which unless someone is completely dense, is exactly what lim said only referring to it as "pun intended", reading between the lines is not too difficult. Because he tries to hide what he really means does not give him any right to say it.

So if I were to say you "looked" like a stalker, not that you "are" a stalker, would you be more or less offended than if I were to call you a faggot? I think the word faggot carries a little more weight than stalker personally, when thrown around.

You have to look at what people say and how they say it. lim is getting everything he deserves in regards to the warning.

hmm i wasnt here when this discussion was going on but since i am the one who originally raised his warning level and we're still talking about the issue of double standards, i'd just like to say that capt basically gave the reason i warned him but no one else. i assumed when taben said something about lim's stalking that he was messing around. lim's response to his remark imo was way out of line. i'm pretty sure that i would've done the same even if it werent taben who made the stalker remark because i really didnt find it to be that bad.

as for the issue of lim's sig, i actually dont have much of an opinion on it one way or the other. i do actually happen to find it rude and offensive especially considering so many people here are not from the US, but whether or not it should've been asked to be removed...i dont know. he did fix it so that it doesnt say that the US > your country, but left the rest which i have no problems with. but again, thats my personal opinion on the matter not an unbiased view on when does a person cross the line and where do we choose to draw that line.

The only comment I can make on the first thing OS mentions is that depending on what state you live in, even if she's clothed and staring off into space, using an image of any girl (or guy for that matter) under the age of 18 could be considered child porn, even if it's an image SHE took, it sounds like he didn't have her permission.

Now, I don't really know what the laws are from state to state, obviously, but that sort of thing is seriously creepy, imo. And that IS stalkerish behavior. I suppose it could have been worse and he's emailing her naked pictures or something (I seriously hope not. Ew ew ew, why did I even bring that up). Of course Taben making an issue of it was really not the way to go, as it's just as easy to report the post that he said "hey look at my new avatar" and we'd have seen it and gone "uh no."

I guess maybe it should be mentioned that if you see something wrong/offensive/whatever that you should report the post to the mods/admins so they can do their jobs. Or you know, discuss it THEN do the job.

And if we have rules on bashing the models, maybe there should be one that's about bashing members too. At least marginally. So calling people gay, faggots, stalkers, etc might be avoided

yeah i just finished reading the entire thing...this isnt the first time she's gotten that way. i dont think she's called anyone a cunt before though (haha u should be honored to be the first! lol) but seriously she's sort of flipped her lid on other occassions though not enough to warrant a warning. this however...jeez...wtf? why is it that people fly completely off the handle so quickly?
