Meghan hit the nail on the head, particularly about the stalking part. Every time Josh (MLA) posts in the Rate Your Avi and Sig thread Kurupt rushes in there to give him a 0. Fine, he might not like his sig and avis but then in the Word Association thread he posted "sucks" and "loser" right after Josh posted. Still not convinced? He flat out named Josh in the "What Annoys You" thread which I found HIGHLY inappropriate but a decision was never made about what should be done about it. He puts down pretty much anything Josh does. And while none of these things individually add up to much, all together it looks like he's basically following him around on the board and purposely being an ass to him. And doesn't that fall under harassment and stalking on the warnable offenses list?

Oh, now I get it. I remember seeing all those posts mentioned about MLA but I never put two and two together. :| I thought that they had some kind of misunderstanding that I totally missed. I agree that what Kurupt has been doing is harassment/stalking and he should have warn level raised.

about Kurupt: Sounds like someone who knows the situation well should tactfully ask him to "back-off" of MLA, or I guess if Josh is feeling harrassed himself we should warn Kurupt, but not if we are feeling harrassed for him. If Kurupt complies cool, if not we can express our seriousness via more warnings or just ban him. Of course we don't want anyone harrassing anyone around here. That doesn't just apply to one group of people.

Meghan, I'm not adverse to the word "homophobia" if used carefully. The thing about our day and age is that applying it to someone is a social death blow.

The problem with telling him to back off is he might not get it. Even if it's done tactfully. I was actually about to PM him yesterday and say "hey, you need to stop doing that. and in the future maybe utilize the handy dandy ignore function on the board". But I don't think he'd get it.

Though maybe a warn with a tactfully worded PM would work I honestly don't think anything will with him, but that might just be from my personal observations.

It could actually be very simple, message him, tell him simply that we will be watching how he interacts with MLA, if we feel he is stepping over the line, there won't be a second chance. Honestly who do we want on the board, the guy who interacts well with people and makes no trouble for us, or the guy who does the exact opposite? If he can keep himself under control, then there would be no problem I would think, he could just brood in silence.

Again in the wrong thread, but Azabby never responded to my return email about why she was unable to login, probably a good indicator that those accounts were all her.

Hey James, in the weeks to come I'd like to know what kind of traffic we get from: WFTForum.com just so I can laugh about it. I get about 5-10 visitors per day right now mostly from Google searches (wft forum, wft-forum,wft fashion, etc). That should increase now that I have an actual website there. Let me know.

You saved that PM right Meghan? I guess it doesn't hurt to send it to him and warn him that his continued harassment of Josh will result in a ban. If he doesn't get it, then it'll just be an easy ban for the staff since it's not like he wasn't told to stop

And on the topic of warns in general, 10 is pretty high. I think it should be 3, five tops. 10 gives people way too much leeway. Not entirely sure what others think about that, but felt I should throw it out there

I think 3-5 is good...you know...preferably 5 since Ashley and I already have 2

That being said, if we make it less (3) rather than more (5), I think maybe we should allow for warning removals - something I was never really 'for' in the past but for example if someone gets a warn for hotlinking, sees the warn, and then doesn't do it again for X months, I think it's ok to remove that warn. Flaming...well that's kind of different, and I would leave those warns, even though I am suffering here with my 20% *sob*
