Funny, my initial request was actually 140X140 but since I got the 'it's only 12 more pixels' argument and since deep down I really wanted the 150X150 ANYway, I decided to go for the kill

im thinking along the lines of animated gif avatars and shit because at a larger pixel size the file size would be larger too, I remember when almost everyone went throught that phase of avatars, now its the sigs and shit....I dont know and i mean you can only show so much in avatars so a much larger size wouldnt really be a big deal would it? I guess sigs its a different story.

Actually the argument of "you can only show so much in avatars" that you are making can be and WAS made for the signatures. James felt that there wouldn't be a big difference but we all pretty much ignored his opinion and upped the signature size anyway. While I agree that there's only but so much you can show in an avatar, I do think that a slightly bigger size DOES in fact make a difference - if only in the fact that you can actually SEE shit better. Not to mention that 22 more pixels can be included. Those 22 pixels go a long way imo. I have experienced the 150X150 avatar...it's wonderful :|

As for the animated stuff, that argument I can understand, though I asked James about it, and he said it shouldn't be a major problem.

I don't believe I said or meant to imply that people cannot see the 128X128. What I said was that the 150X150 can be seen better, which is pretty much undeniable. It's bigger. Of course people can see it better.

You don't have to be 'for' them but it would be nice if you didn't muddle up the argument I'm trying to make. Thanks

And I made an animated avatar at 200x200 and it seems too fucking big to me. 128x128 seems too small. To me, 150x150 is a nice medium.

I could care less either way, as this avatar I have now, is not getting any bigger because I am lazy. So if it were to be raised to 150x150 I would have no objections.

I say that Nicoler be promoted to Admin status. She is very well the hardest working moderator that we have at the moment considering the fact that her mod actions now surpass 700 and are easily around 200 tasks more than all other moderators. She has also been long enough in the workforce to get a promotion and out of everyone i think she is the only one that has earned it.

She more than deserves it, I think she should be one, but we just have too many.
