I presume you can get though the game just fine either way but since I'm really just scratching the surface, I thought I'd play it paragon style and see how it goes.
I'm familiar with Miranda though - far from ideal I know, but I had to jump straight into the second game - from what I understand, the first one never got a PS3 release.

From now on, when someone says "freedom", I´ll show him that picture ![]()
I've seen that Simpsons one before ![]()
Those are gorgeous Jennka. I really love that watercolour one too.. amazing colours ![]()

LOL, just noticed the Simpsons drawing
If only they animated them that way for ONE episode...that would sure get the ratings a tad higher I'd say

Amazing, aren´t they? The last one says so much. I´m amazed by how million words can be put in one simple drawing.
And on a funnier note, yesterday I watched this:

holly shit, that´s one of the best things I´ve seen in years ![]()
^I know right, I love that so much ![]()
The glue one is the best ![]()
It reminds me of this too ![]()

It's awesome how that sense of ownership lets you get really attached to the individualisation of the character, to the point where you start questioning who that guy is on the box art.
The open-endedness of the game is indeed awesome, and not something I can ever really remember coming across before. But that sense of ownership (which even as a beginner, I'm already starting to develop) is why I'd kind of worry about any potential movie. You'd doubtless have scores of people watching the movie thinking 'my Shepard would never say/do that. My Shepard was cool', and it'd be hard to blame them for it.
But we'll see I guess.
Are you doing much in the way of gaming these days? I seem to have an ever-growing backlog of stuff to try out. ![]()

In an homage to your disconcerting picture of the lady and the cat (
), I saw this unsettling photo and immediately thought of you:

It's like some David Lynch nightmare, paired with Ringu!

^Indeed it is - that's why I like the aforementioned Lynch (and J-Horror too actually) so much. So little is explained or resolved and you are just left with this lingering eeriness. Both references have a wonderful way of building dread... With modern J-Horror they so often include folk-tales and ghost stories but place them incongruously in urban settings that it amplifies the weirdness. With Lynch you just never know where anything is going and it jars! ![]()
As for the photo's genesis - it is far less sinister! It's by Lee Friedlander, a US photographer, who primarily took images of modern urban life in the '60s and '70s. That particular shot is from a series in motels. There are a couple of others that have that creepy feel to them (especially another one of a grainy image of a boys face manifesting from the TV at the foot of a bed), but mainly he's a social cataloguer...

By the way, you've seen this blog site right? http://blackandwtf.tumblr.com/

It reminds me of this too

So I've been waiting patiently for J Scott Campbell's 2013 calendar. I thought it was usually on sale by this time of year
