Are you talking about linear algebra?

^ Well college level algebra courses teach matrices so yes, yes to that

How is understanding physics and chemistry at the higher level useful to you?

^ Simple as general tasks one makes in general everyday life but more conscious about their impacts. I could easily get into ways to reduce our carbon footprint since I have a good understand of the molecular properties of carbon dioxide and the way it reacts with light thus making me more conscious about the energy I use and potential produce. Also what type of foods I should consume and how our body absorbs certain elements such as iron in spinach vs red meats. For me, it just encompasses my daily life. As mentioned before, ignorance isn't bliss and I try to always take in whatever I can to further reduce my own

And as to the rest of your content, let me start with the risk you speak of and money. I understand full well the concept and idea behind "no risk, no reward" but when it comes to our financial institutions I believe it is one of the most idiotic statements and ideas one can ever implement considering the fact they are dealing with OTHER peoples monies. We can learn a lot about Canadian regulations on banks to see that certain risks should not be taking on key sectors of our economy, banking being one. Hell, we here in America should know full well about such a mentality after the last recession we experienced to say the least. Any who, sorry to deviate a bit there but going back to math and what America should know, I think what I outlined is perfectly sufficient to understand in mathematical terms. It's more so the terms lawyers/mathematicians have written behind many of these loans that keeps me shaking my head and what screws over many Americans than anything else.

Ah, the Most Interesting Man in the World

In museums, he's allowed to touch the art

He lives vicariously through...himself

He once punched a wizard in the face

Some of them didn't even think they could make gold but were just trying to swindle people. They would have little bootleg magic shows with cheap tricks, take people's money and be on to the next town and never come back. The real job was to get a king on board, tell him you need all kinds of supplies and living quarters and a lot of time but that it will be worth it. Sometimes though, the king would get wise to them and have them seized or executed without warning   . The ones that did believe they could make gold or immortality did pour a lot of hours into their research though.

They may not improve the meat or our health, but they definitely serve their purpose of making money. The preservatives allow them to last much longer, the hormones allow them to grow up faster, no need to expound on the additives and hydrogenated ingredients. One of the most annoying things is that there's conveniently never 'enough research' to prove anything when it comes to this stuff either. On any other subject, the same amount of research would be sufficient. You would think that 6 year old's with underarm hair and bras alone would be enough of a case against animal hormones. I have a friend who is extremely allergic to MSG and before he figured it out, thought he had a serious condition. He changed his diet altogether, so it took him awhile to figure out exactly what stopped it. He was later told by his doctor that he was one of at least 1/4 of the U.S. that is allergic to it. He went about his life just eating meat without it on the label and all was well. After a get together one day, the symptoms hit hard after eating a salad. He couldn't figure out why because it had no meat and its usually added to meat (they listed on the label either as MSG, its whole name monosodium glutamate or even 'flavor') but it turned out that the salad dressing had it on the label. Long story short, we still need more research   .

Its hard for me to choose between crickets and grasshoppers. Well, grasshoppers are obviously hardier individually. Locusts are quite nice as well. I must admit that I don't believe in eating bees not only because they've been so nice to me, but it seems kindof like eating roosters. Speaking of choosing, which do you think ranks higher in fashion, Emily DeDonato's face (among faces) or Emily Ratajowski's body (among bodies)? I think I may have chanced my answer a couple of times. At first I said Emily D's face because I'm a fan of her's, but then I think there's a lot more competition for prettiest models than there is for those with the absolute best bodies. At least for me, listing top 10-20 fashion bodies would be easy whereas it would be really difficult for me with faces. Well, most have above average or good bodies even though most are discovered for their faces. You choose for yourself anyway. *edit* bandwidth exceeded, but you know what they look like   .

See, now you know why I need to be this guy!

I wonder how those people felt when they finally understood that what they were researching was an absolute crap waste of time?

See sir, this is why I am a huge proponent of the "cave man" diet so to speak. Just stick to what grows from the grown and what we have had for millennia before the industrial revolution hit along with producing food in mass quantities and mass shelf life. Stick to that majority key thought in food and all should be well into your 80's Sadly, this coming generation is the first in human history to potentially live a short life then our parents due to eating, simple intake of calories for the sake of consumption and not nourishment.

Ahaha dude, the bees and rooster/chicken comparison was quite just now that you pointed it out, nice one! Ah, that is an easy one for me, Emily D's face. That alone has scored more covers, ed's, campaigns and contracts then Emily R's body ever could! But jeezes bud, Emily R's body was built for sex...not trying to sound like a pig here but most men wouldn't exactly say no if she was laying in their beds naked with that "come f@#k me" look on her face

And interesting analysis there with modeling and trends. It's no secret I would say that the consumer market dictates what sort of fashion will be more prevalent than others and in turn what models tend to walk up and down the spotlight for said styles. One trend with modeling that I dont understand though has to do with the men's fashion world and hiring these androgynous type of models to work runways and the likes??? I get we can market women's fashion with some subtle masculine characteristics but for men it's much more of a stretch to go the feminine route Just check out some of the runway shows in past years and you will see what I'm talking about. And as to timing, I would say that has some play but more so the type of agency and work ethics a model has really is what pushes some into mediocrity or stardom. But of course, let's not kid ourselves here for one second...knowing the right people helps to the highest degree too.

Ahaha, no worries, I am BZ's resident Merv the Perv here Ah yes that Barbara pic Let's just say I've seen it a few times already I must say, it took forever for that women to finally get naked the way I and many wanted I hope more is on the way

I don't know why when you said 'Get Naked' you reminded me of this awful Tommy Lee song called 'Get Naked.' If you haven't heard it already, sorry for introducing you to it . When I say timing, I'm always thinking of right people, place ect. all together with each other. You have to be in the right place to know the right people even if you were born into said place. I remember when I saw this interview with Donald Trump with him talking about how he got to where he is because of hard work and how he was a self made man ect. At the time, I assumed he just came from a small farm somewhere and had no idea that his father was a mega millionaire. That's not to say that there aren't many heirs that just hang out at the club and mall all day, that goes without saying. Its just that by what he was saying, it sounded like a rags to riches story. Long story short, the right place and right time, knowing the right people definitely go along way. Some then of course then make the most of it by working hard.

I'm somewhat attuned to male fashion although some of which is against my will. On one hand, I originally got into fashion for the photography so I initially just collected editorials based on the quality of the makeup, clothes, setting and photography. In light of that, the models I followed were based on their modeling skills rather than looks and there were some mens in there too. The part that's against my will is some things that can't be unseen that I've seen from moderating men's threads . Long story short, I have noticed the trends you speak of. One of the most unique aspects of fashion is that it doesn't adhere to supply and demand in the same manner that most businesses do. Back during the waif era, the general public was outraged but they just did it because they felt like it. At some point, the PR got so bad that you started seeing models getting somewhat bigger again, but for the most part, they do what they want. Truth be told, that's really what the real artists have traditionally done. Picasso just did what moved him regardless of what was in style. Obviously he died dirt poor, but he didn't compromise himself. Lennon felt moved to have a horrible singing Japanese woman on his songs and obviously didn't care what people thought. Hollywood, television and music have become almost completely focus group and marketing oriented by comparison. There will always be those that don't comply though. You look at a guy like Daniel Day Lewis who will only take roles that move him and of course there are others. It really is fascinating to me how different the fashion industry is. By the standard of music for example, if there's an artist with Kate Upton's popularity for a model, everyone would say, 'I've got to get her on my song' or 'I've got to get her in my movie' ect. In the fashion world on the other hand, many will say, 'I don't care how popular she is, she's not walking for me.' It really is a totally different world altogether. I'm not saying whether they should have her of course, that's just an example. Do you still watch lacrosse? I played some the other day and whereas it was fun, I found it to be extremely difficult :| . I'm wondering if its the worst I've ever been at a sport. Those ladies tore me a new one, but I figure I would have sucked anyway even if I were playing alone. Well, I assume that I would be the worst at rhythmic gymnastics, but I'm not likely to try it. I got new respect for it though.

It's Tommy Lee, no need for a sorry And I do get what you mean about the right place at the right time. That can be applied with business too and how many make their millions at times Although Trump is a horrid example since he was born into money Plus, the guy is one of the worlds biggest douche bags! I also like to bring the point that you need to know how to network and put your name out there. I've seen and heard more stories about people making it big via that method then sheer luck of the odds

Ah yes good points there sir on fashion, the arts and music. There is no doubt there are those that break that traditional mold to start a new movement But those are far a few in between so I guess I was just trying to point out the general public at large. And I don't watch it so much as played it although its been some time since I was in that sport. LOL, not so easy till you give it a try eh? I wish we still had the same group around to play it again. Sucks once people reach there mid 20's to 30's and start having families and all that shit! Breaks up the gang

Whether one believes that life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond or vise versa, 90%, 10%, even 1% gives us a lot of power. I find that most either greatly overrate or underrate that power. In reality, it would be easier to list the things we have no power over. Human life is fragile and unpredictable, no matter how hard we work or plan on one hand. On the other hand, we can't let that stop us or we'll get nothing done. I find success in the liberal arts to be so fascinating because the reliance on subjectivity and the whims of people is so much greater than other professions. We don't know how Gisele would have done in the 80s, how Kathy Ireland would do in the 00s or if Black Sabbath could play on the radio now whereas no one asks how Johnny Cochran could fare in law.

I'm getting better at catching it, but not so good at passing it . The old groups do break up, but who knows? Sometimes they get together and their kids can become friends themselves

Speaking of models, do you know whether this girl was in the polaroid competition or not?

Once again you make some very valid points but I've always been one on humans being able to control their destinies more then some random acts of fate or more so to say, mathematical odds working against you? Why I sort of smiled a bit when you mentioned how life is very fragile and unpredictable. I was reminded by a morbid yet funny speech from Neil Degrease Tyson that pointed out what you were outlining above on life and its not so friendly approach, you must watch this:

I'm hoping we get together one day again. We have had chats about it but we shall see how that goes. For now, practice that catch sir

Oh nope, I would or remembered her, she is cute as a button

I was actually thinking of birth defects, but decided against it and just assume it was a given. Well, a given with you anyway, not everyone . I do however believe parents have a lot of control in the destiny of birth defects on the other hand even if the children don't. On the other hand, there have been those who have chosen to make the most of their situation. I've seen all of his videos that are less than a year old. I was one of the ones that wrote him the letters about Pluto. It turned out that he not only responded to us, but published some of them and wrote a book making fun of us . I forgave him when I heard his story about how he was hurt so much when a colleague said that he couldn't afford to waste his great mind on outer space instead of medicine, politics, economics or such. Though it wasn't astrophysics for me, I was also hurt when someone said I was wasting my brain on what I wanted to do. After that, I forgave him even despite him making light of our despair. Well, its hard to stay mad at that face .

^ It's amazing how many had no idea he was quite the bulky, huge, muscular dude Not only will he beat you in arm wrestling but Scrabble too And as to parents and the well being of their child, as long as they follow a healthy diet and lifestyle the unborn fetus will for the most part avoid any negligible effects of a parents poor choices. Sadly, most of the defects we see have to do with genetic, environmental conditions and just plain bad cell behavior Hehe, ah the Pluto planet debate, I admit, I had some good laughs with how it all played out As time progress science will make strides and of course the dreaded change many have trouble accepting. Sorry Pluto, you're just a skipping stone in the solar system now

I later found out that adults were writing him letters too . He said, "The only difference between the adult letters and the children's letters was the spelling." Yeah, Pluto will always have a special place in my heart too, but I accept its demotion . I don't admit this when I got to New Mexico though . Well, I wouldn't deny it, but more specifically, I don't volunteer it there. I must admit that my secret man crush is Dr. Michio Kaku . Asian men are underrated (in terms of sexiness that is).

Random confessions I feel obligated to make in light of previous discussions...

4. I'm an animal lover, but have always been obsessed with rat studies . I've had a rat study scrapbook since I was a kid.

3. Though I may pride myself as the rugged southern outdoorsman, I am quite unnerved by possums with a back full of young. I also had to get over a fear of turkeys as well . Strangely enough, I didn't have to get over a fear of cougars, wolves and bears. I'm still not totally over the fear of wild boar on the other hand even though I hunt them.

2. When people I know from California talk about how afraid they would be of the southern outdoors, I generally don't volunteer that I am quite uneasy about the prospect of earthquakes

1. Though I pride myself on being able to make tasty healthy recipes and familiar looking foods and it seems implied that it represents my diet, my general diet most days is mostly undressed raw food . Some days its mostly raw vegetables, green drinks, fruits, seeds, pollen ect. with meat and dairy as the minority on those days but enough for my Vitamin B12 (I don't like taking supplements like in my vegetarian days). Then there's the more splurge type days where I eat more meat and experimentation with recipe days. Despite that, I must say that overall, helping people to find familiar but healthier things as well as trying to cater to some people's various allergies has worked out for me in terms of discovering new things.

Loved him since he would guest speak on Tech TV's shows.  He said on a recent show on Science, and I paraphrase here, "Singularities are the scientists way of saying 'I don't know'."
