Yes. It starts tonight.

I'm getting ready to go to my HS reunion.

How was the reunion? See any old flames? :brows:

One, who is married and has a child now.

Lots of baldness, redecing hair-lines, some early grey patches and pregnant women.

But also fun to see where everyone ended up, and nice to see that people don't really change, no matter their age or appearance.

So I guess there was no sex in the classroom or anything eh?

People do change :| They just tend to act a certain way around different groups of people

Well, some of them might change, but it wasn't apparent last night, that was for sure.

BTW, there's an awful lot of guys who made a shedload of money more than I do. And I thought I was doing pretty well.

Of course it wasn't apparent :trout: they probably reverted to acting like they did in high school because they were around the same people

How much were they making? It's funny that people would talk about their finances with others (to me at least...maybe not in Belgium though). It's like taboo to talk about it over here

Not all of them did. But half of those who did made more than I do. Not that I'm not content with what I make. A surprising amount of them worked for fairly big, international companies. And a lot of the time, it was the people you'd least expect it from.

I bet none of the rich guys were the party animals and if they were then they stole it! :| and they're lying about it which makes things even worse

Sometimes the people you meet at parties turn out to be great to have in your professional network.

True. I exchanged contact info with a psychologist who works for a headhunters agency in the IT biz. You never know when I might be looking to change jobs.

I actually think some things like personality are innate.

I agree, talking about money is taboo and pretty immature. I wouldn't want to talk about how much money I have, esp. I were rich---I am not

Behaviour and personality are not necessarily congruent besides its a validated psychological phenomenon probably because of how people learn to behave in certain contexts...I'm just speculating...I forget the theory behind it

I don't get what the big deal is but maybe I'm just immature Actually I'd bet my house on it
