^I don't know if VS wrecked it, I think it just depends on the model. I think some are probably just content with the nice paycheck (adriana, lindsay, mayyyybe erin) and so they don't go after more work. While others (like candice, miranda, maybe lily?) since being with VS their high fashion work has risen! At least thats how I have always seen it

Oh, I was talking more in terms of their runway walks. Both Adriana and Chanel were decent walkers prior to VS but since joining, neither one seems to know how to walk properly anymore. Very odd and disappointing But I do hear your point about the amount of work the Angels do outside of VS. It might be an individual decision, or a decision made by their people (agents, managers, PR reps, etc.), or something else the public does not know about like contract terms, agreements, etc. I agree, those who have taken on other projects outside of VS are doing quite well.

I have had the old shelf for more than 10 years (since the year I graduated from college I think). I kept on stacking more and more stuff on it, and it finally gave up and broke. Totally my fault

^ No, I don't follow many threads here. I usually use the "View New Content" function and go through the first 5 pages (too lazy to go beyond that ) and skim through the random threads that interest me

VS has ruined many models' ability to model (such as Adriana and Chanel). It is like they brainwash them to forget all their modeling skills.

The videos are new to me. Thanks for sharing The pictures did not do the editorial any justice because it looked much better in action. Candice is definitely a star and she deserve all the success she has gotten...and much more

Darn, well there goes an old relic of the good ol' days eh? Sounds like it was a composite wood material if the shelves gave way with a few stacked books and what not. Unless you started the pyramids of Egypt on those poor shelves. Already order a new shelving unit or still trying to find the right one?

I do this kind of thing when I´m too busy (especially at work ) - when I can´t go thoroughly through members threads, I don´t go there at all, as I like to take deep interest in every thread and interaction between members.

But I´ve read that you´re too pretty busy now, moving to another place - is it far from the current one?

And glad you like the vids I hope her star will continue to shine, and that she develops a great modeling portfolio

The way I feel is there are so many members' threads it can be overwhelming to visit them all especially when things are kinda hectic in your life I often feel bad if I can't get to everyone's thread so to keep it simple by rarely posting in those threads. I can barely keep up with my own thread let alone other's

The new office is about 2.5 miles away from the old one but to get there you have to drive through one lane traffic with lots of stop lights. So it is technically less than 10 minutes away but it takes 30+ minutes to get there depending on traffic.

We also have another location that is newly built. It is not too far away from the old location. Lots of events celebrating the grand opening & etc. so the super craziness at work continues

Candice is definitely on the right path. I hope she continues to grow and eventually make a name for herself outside of VS. She has what it takes and she deserves it

Curious, we talked about how you were interested in getting into the fashion industry right? Did you ever get around to that, looking into school, etc? Or are you not thinking about going back to school? I assume you already work in business, so I assume you have some sort of business degree? Pretty sure the fashion industry looks for those more often than solely fashion related degrees!

Things are still kinda busy but they are gradually slowing down and going back to normal. That whole bombing thing really added on to the stress and craziness

After 20 (give or take) years of school I AM DONE!!! (Y) No more school for me except maybe adult ed or enrichment classes I have a Masters in Advertising but that obviously has not gotten me very far in life

I think having an array of knowledge is important in every field. Fashion is not all about designing. You have to know how to reach & interact with your customers (psychology), and have some sort of understanding of numbers and how to sustain a business
