I do online shopping b/c I cannot deal with the chaos & ridiculousness of the mall during the holidays Another thing about online shopping I like is I could browse through stuff  in my PJs However I do think it is great you don't shop online frequently b/c it is somewhat addictive and you sometimes end up spending more than your realize   I don't think I have ever purchased a pizza online. I usually call-in my order for pick-up

I did do Boxing Day shopping...online I couldn't find anything I wanted or needed.

I saw Wolf today. Here are some of my thoughts (no spoilers): http://www.bellazon.com/main/topic/48721-the-wolf-of-wall-street/?p=3330563. If you are not into comedies I would skip it or wait for the DVD (Y) I had high hopes for this movie b/c it had so much potential   I know almost everybody loves Scorsese, but I think another director would have done a better job Someone like Mary Harron, Guy Ritchie, Danny Boyle, David Fincher or Sam Mendes

I know I hate the crowds as well. Though I'm kind of an impatient person lol... I hate having to wait for my online order to come in the mail.. that's my only qualm lol. Do you have that problem? Getting ancy for your order to come? lol

I pretty much only went to BABW on Boxing Day and as expected the cashout line was crazyyyy long, but good deals so I just waited it out... $4 for body lotions (Y)

Yeah I might just wait for that movie to come out on DVD... I'm not really a go to a movie kind of person anyways... last time I went to the movies was to see DJANGO and that was a year ago lol.

But I would love to see Leo's butt again (saw it already in The Aviator and Total Eclipse) If ever you come across a still of it please please notify me lol.

Never heard of Mary Harron.. gonna look her up.

Very random question.... what are your thoughts on Frida Aasen? physically speaking.

Ummm...yeah, that's pretty far So how did you get there? Plane? Train?

When I was in undergrad I used to listen to classical music right before my exams. It helped me relax and jump start my brain at the same time. Odd but very effective combo Now I mainly use it at night when I am having trouble falling asleep a010.gif

Although I am not fond of eating lamb, but leftovers....yum!!! FTubsBT.gif

We travelled by car. Looong trip

That's indeed a good technique . That kind of music is really good to get concentrated.

You have any favorite pieces or composers?

And we're finally out of leftovers

I am impatient about long lines, people walking waaaay too slow in stores, huge messes in stores and shopping with others I feel when you shop with others you either have to wait for them to be done or they have to wait for you to be done. And there is always the situation of which stores to go into---you may want to go into a store but the other person doesn't really want to or vice versa. That's why I often shop alone

As for online shopping I sometimes do get impatient about receiving my purchases but I am generally ok with waiting. I have a strong sense of delayed gratification. I love getting stuff in the mail It gives me something to look forward to especially after a long day at work coming home to a package is such a treat!

BBW is another store I have a lot of stuff from. The main scents I use are I Butterfly Flower, Sea Island Cotton and Juniper Breeze. I used to like Paris Amour but then I got tired of it. There was a limited edition PA scent from 2 years ago I loved. I think it was called Paris Amour Spring or Blossom. I also use some of the body washes & scrubs from the Aromatherapy Collection (Charcoal and Eucalyptus Spearmint) and of course the hand sanitizers (I love the apple-scented one). What are some of your favorite scents?

TWOWS was the first movie I watched in the theater since Grown-Ups 2 When I was in college I used to go to the movies every weekend. Since graduating I go about 3-4 times a year. Tickets have gotten so expensive and most movies don't appeal to me. TBH I kinda wish I waited for TWOWS to come out on DVD. I was so excited about it and I ended up being somewhat disappointed. Then again what do I know? Most people seem to think the movie was fabulous

If I come across stills of Leo's butt I will definitely post them. You can never get too much of Leo's tush!

Mary Harron did American Psycho and I Shot Andy Warhol. She also directed TV shows like Oz, Six Feet Under and The L Word. I think if she directed TWOWS, minus the horror/suspense element, she would have done a great job. TWOWS and American Psycho have very similar settings and story background. TWOWS also reminds me of House Of Lies, especially the main character's personality and the third person with first person interjection perspective (seems to be very popular nowadays):

I think Frida Aasen is a very attractive girl and I feel neutral about her I am glad she fixed the over-bleached blond hair. Also, catch her at the wrong angle she looks like Voldemort & an elf's love child

A very long car ride indeed! I assume you were taking turns driving w/ someone else?

Some of the pieces I enjoy are: Nocturne, Violin Concerto, Claire De Lune, Dance of The (Swans, Cygnets, Murliton, and Sugar Plum Fairy), The Unfinished Symphony, Ode To Joy, and Für Elise. I think most of them are by Tchaikovsky so I guess by default he is my favorite How about you?

Oh well, all good and yummy things must come to an end. Until the next meal FTubsBT.gif

My dad did all the driving, he actually likes it though, even being such a long trip.

Which Violin Concerto?.

Of those Sugar Plum Fairy is by Tchaikovsky, the other ones were written by Chopin (the Nocturne), Beethoven (Ode to Joy, Für Elise, Claire de Lune) and Schubert (The Unfinished Symphony)

My favorite composers would be Beethoven, and also Mahler and Gustav Holst. Beethoven's 5th, 7th and 9th symphonies are some of my favorites works. I also enjoy a lot The Planets by Holst, and Mahler's 2nd and 3rd symphonies. Oh, and The Rite of Spring by Stravinsky! That is one amazing work, very complex, interesting rhythms and harmonies, as well as a great orchestration. And being written in the XX Century, still isn't that strange as 'contemporary music', but it was quite avant garde for its time (1913).

Any leftovers still on your side?

So many women (mainly those in their 20’s - 30’s) have messed mentalities when it comes to “love” They seem to be more in love with the idea “being in love” and getting married more than anything else. These women are VERY obsessed with the idea of having a ring on their finger so they could show it off & have people envious of them, wearing a wedding dress, and having a beautiful & fantastic wedding. Once all the glitz and glam is over reality hits them They realized they have to actually live with the person they married and a healthy marriage requires hard work (moreso than when they were dating). I know so many couples who divorced b/c they realized they got married for the wrong reasons. They (mainly the women) were more in love with the delusion and fantasy than their ex-spouse. Also, a lot of people settle b/c they feel “it’s time” to get married not b/c they are truly in love or feel their mate is the right person

If someone was in freak accident or something then I could understand why they would want plastic surgery. I have nothing against plastic surgery if it is related to a medical necessity. People who’ve had their stomach stapled lose weight rapidly and they end up having flabby skin. That is another instance I am ok with plastic surgery. I am talking about people who looked fine to begin with but for whatever reason decided to make themselves ugly by going under the knife. Examples: Bruce Jenner, Big Ang, Nikki Cox, and Donnatella Versace.

Some people do take religion to the extreme I think it is importance to have some sorta faith and spiritual guidance but at the same time be able to analyze information objectively and logically. I remember a local newscaster once said religion is the “why” and science is the “how”. Not saying I agree as it is a vague statement with many holes, but to some degree it does make sense from a moderate religious point of view

I will definitely offer you a taste test the next time I make pumpkin pie (Y)

BTW, Happy Holidays!!! Hope it is a fabulous one   k015.gif Any special plans?

Not to sounds like an asshole but I've seen these women who are supposedly "in love" and I cannot help but laugh when "everything will fall into place" is there go to phrase Some don't or aren't even willing to bend a bit for the other. What ever happened to comprise? See, this is why marriage isn't for everyone to be Mr. Obvious. LOL and oh my yes, those grand weddings with the 10K dress, 1k cake and basically shitting 10k to 30k down the hole for something that is no more then a small blimp of a lifetime together. Sort of makes me sick to think how some of these newly weds are willing to put themselves in debt over something that isn't even a given...money does by love?

I'm with you there as I previously stated. Plastic surgery should be left to those who need it out of medical or past injures. I'm trying to think of a name of this 18-19 year old girl who married a 50-60 something old perv and she basically transformed herself with plastic surgery and I couldn't help but gag a bit with how horrid the results look on her. She isn't even in her 20's yet I believe

Well let's just say we know what religion is to the both of us

Deal, so where is the pie? And thx hun I hope you had a great Christmas As for the plans, it was pretty much like last year with family, friend, and food with the mixed in entertainment. We played a card game called CARDS AGAINST HUMANITY that had us splitting our sides in laughter all night long Christmas Eve. Ever heard of that card game?

See I actually thought it exceeded my expectations! I thought it was gonna have quite a few boring parts, because when reading the book there was just so much finance stuff that would go on for chapters and chapters...so I was expecting to see that. So the fact they kept that to a minimal kept me entertained Like it definitely didn't feel like a 3 hour movie to me. It was also waaayy funnier than I expected too, and I liked more than some other Leo-Marty collabs. I think the Departed and Wolf are now my fav collabs of them. In terms of Marty films as a whole I still don't think it tops Goodfellas, but Wolf is definetly in the top 3.

I thought it was leos best performance too lol. Better than Calvin, maybe even better than Arnie Grape. He was just off the walls crazy! I know you mentioned his facial expressions, those were hilarious. Like when he was talking on the phone to his clients trying to get people to buy

She is annoying even out of character

I agree, Benefit does have cute packaging I have heard of Miracle Blur but haven’t tried it yet. I will add it to my list of products to try!

This is the SLT Illuminating Gel I was talking about:

mlR3cLK.jpg

I hear you about having too much VS fragrances and lotions!!!   I think I am pretty much set for life but knowing me I will probably buy more My favorite fragrance from the Dream Angels collection is Desire. I am not sure do they still sell it though :notsure: OMG, I have the same thoughts about The Bombshell! It smells pungent (and kinda rancid if you sniff it for too long) but in a good way. SLT Noir is like that too...hahahah...

My absolute favorite VS fragrance is VS Dare. I am addicted to it. I kid you not! I cannot stop spraying it EVERYWHERE There is some sorta chemical in it that I am addicted to---It is like a drug I have had the bottle taken away from me b/c it was pissing people off

My favorite PINK lotion scent is Fresh & Clean. I also like the original PINK fragrance but I don’t know do they still sell it.

I have a variety of VS & PINK clothing and lounge wear. Mainly hoodies, sweatpants and leggings. I used to like VS’ basic long t-shirts before they seamed it on the back

I do vaguely remember a bronzer with Adriana & Gisele on the bottle. I think the packing was iridescent and it part of the Supermodel collection?

BTW, Happy Holidays!!! Hope it is a fabulous one  g015.gif Any special plans?

EDIT: I just noticed your second post :

Thanks Babe!!! So excited to see TWoWS!!!

You know who I actually find annoying? Tina Fey. Like I get shes funny, but I think she is wayyy overrated. I think Amy Poehler should have been the bigger star, she is HILARIOUS!

And ahh I think I've seen that I just can't wait for the semi annual sale...I love going in and seeing all those bins filled with beauty products, like F yes And I'm trying to remember if I have smelled Desire..Its definetly floral isn't it? Nior is the same I love that too, so strong but in a good way And VS Dare...hmmm I' haven't even ever heard of that one or seen it! I'll have to be on the hunt

I got quite a few hoodies as well. In fact for Christmas I got a VS Pink yoga gift set, and a black hoodie. The black hoodie is realtively new, it mostly comes in pink and has a high neckline, but I got mine in black

And yeah I do think it was part of the Supermodel essentials collection. I don't see too much of that anymore..it used to have like Gisele and Heidi and all the supers on the packages, etc. I really liked those!

And it was good..just chilling with the family, eating good food. You?

Ok so the positives of online shopping DEFINITELY outweigh the negatives for you... actually you don't really have any negatives really.

OoOo I don't have Juniper Breeze.. now you have tempted me to buy it I have pretty much all the scents in one form or another But the thing is its because I get tired of a scent very easily and just the smell of it really irks me after awhile so I crave a new scent so what happens is that I never actually finish a bottle.. which is why my collection is rather large. I'll attach a photo below. But I just recently bought Beautiful Day and I got Velvet Sugar and Amber Blush for Christmas so now those are my current favs lol. But I have calmed down with my BABW purchases though.. same with my perfume collection. By the way what's your fav perfume of the moment?

Did you like Grown Ups 2? Haven't seen it but I liked the first one lol. Everytime I hear that song Pina Colada... I immediately think of that film and that silly scene lol.

Thanks for the Mary Harron info! OoOo so she did American Psycho... cool!! Christian Bale is awesome

Thanks for the vid... never seen House of Lies. Man I need to seriously do a lot of catching up on a lot of shows.

Thanks for your thoughts on Frida and lol at the Voldemort and elf love child comparison I think she is ridiculously beautiful her features are just so doll like looking. HOWEVER... her side profile kinda freaks me out .. as her forehead really portruds while her eyes seem like they were punched in.. hope you understand what I mean lol. Just was curious if you'd bring that up lol. But she's still beautiful and of course its good to have that unique edge in the modelling world (she can do commercial and high fashion easily) lol

The following had me really shaken up for a short while last night. I hate these ridiculous, morbid, ficticious sites!!!

http://leonardo.dicaprio.mediafetcher.com/news/top_stories/actor_skiing.php

This isn't a recent pic and you probably have already seen it but I just saw it for the first time yesterday (I don't really keep up with celeb gossip outside of Leo)... This is Mary-Kate Olsen with her boyfriend and his young daughter. Kinda creepy looking

b6160f297920486.jpg

In regards to the attachment whenever I send pics from my phone it shows up side ways so excuse that lol. Drives me insane! :voodoo:

We played a card game called CARDS AGAINST HUMANITY that had us splitting our sides in laughter all night long Christmas Eve. Ever heard of that card game?

It is a harsh reality for some when they realize the only person they could change is themselves. You cannot change or control others. If someone doesn’t want to change there isn’t a damn thing anyone could do about it

The willingness to compromise and/or meet half way, and occasionally give in a little is very crucial to any relationship. Not just romantic ones. I agree, marriage isn’t for everyone. So many people should not get married but b/c of societal pressure they end up making a huge thoughtless mistake

Someone once told me these grand weddings are for the bride to show off more than anything else. I think it is very possible to have a low-budget wedding that looks spectacular. It just requires of a lot of research, effort and creative thinking

Courtney Stodden? I personally think she is lying about her age. There is no way she is that young. If she is that young I guess the irony is plastic surgery made her look 10 yrs older...hahaha...

I have never heard of the game CARDS AGAINST HUMANITY. How do you play?

Yes, Desire is floral but kinda fruity. VS Dare has a citrus scent with a kick of spicy sweetness. I am telling you it is my drug    Here is a picture of it:

Do you have a picture of the VS PINK gift set you got for Christmas?

I spent Christmas with my sister and mom. Pretty low-key. There is going to be a snowstorm so I might have to delay my visit to the SAS

Oh yes, all the "Dance of.." might be by Tchaikovsky, it's just that I'm not familiar with those

Which movement of Beethoven's 9th are your favorites?

I specially love the 1st one. And the 2nd too.

No, actually I started kind of "late". I started to play guitar when I was 13, but I didn't start studying music till I was 19, almost 20. After high school I studied Engineering for 2 years before switching to Composition and Arrangements, from which I graduated 2 weeks ago

Hahaha too bad they don't last longer sometimes

Happy New Year to you too!!

This isn't a recent pic and you probably have already seen it but I just saw it for the first time yesterday (I don't really keep up with celeb gossip outside of Leo)... This is Mary-Kate Olsen with her boyfriend and his young daughter. Kinda creepy looking

In regards to the attachment whenever I send pics from my phone it shows up side ways so excuse that lol. Drives me insane! :voodoo:

I have used Juniper Breeze since I was a pre-teen so it holds a special place in my heart I usually get tired of a scent when it gets too popular. Examples: VS’ Love Spell and BBW’s Paris Amour. BBW and VS has so many scents, and they come out back-to-back it is overwhelming and sometimes confusing to keep track of them all My current favorites are Butterfly Flower (BBW) and Sheer Love (VS). Here are the scents I am currently using (I spray them on different parts of my body and I included body washes too b/c I use a different scent everyday): Sea Island Cotton; Sheer Love (VS); A mixture I made with Paris Amour, Delicate Petal (VS), Sweet Daydream (VS) and Riviera Sun (VS); Dream Angels Halo (VS); SLT Noir (VS); Fresh Flowers (BBW); Butterfly Flower; Paris Amour; Dream More (Gap); and Juniper Breeze. I have other scents too but I don’t use those as often.

You do have quite a collection! I would post mine too but they are scattered all over the place. I am not as organized as you My massive bra collection is somewhat organized. I could show you that if you like...hahaha My phone saves pictures in the wrong orientation as well. It drives me nuts too especially when tweeting

I did enjoy Grown-Ups 2. Probably b/c I had very low expectations so I ended up enjoying it more than expected. American Psycho is one of my all-time favorite movies. I agree, Christian Bale was awesome! And all the shows I mentioned Harron directed are TV shows I like. The first season of House Of Lies was decent but the second season was kinda “meh”. The third season started 2 weeks ago so I can’t comment on it yet

Frida definitely has a very unique look that is refreshing. I think she should stick to HF and commercial modeling, but be careful about lingerie modeling b/c I could imagine her looking kinda porn star-ish if the styling isn’t done correctly.

I would have been shaken up too! People need to stop creating factious celebrity death stories. It is disgusting, morbid and disrespectful! <_<

OMG, I have never seen that picture. Very creepy indeed and kind pedophilic
