No, Walking Dead is still in my queue of shows to watch. And no I don’t watch TVD—it looks lame Did you used to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel? Two of my all-time favorite shows

I have heard of The Blacklist. I think the actor who plays Skinny Pete on BB is on that show. Other than that I don’t know what the show is about---what is it about?

I recently started watching this show on HBO call Getting On. It is about an all-female geriatric extended care wing at a hospital. Although I don’t often deal with patients directly, I do appreciate the dark humor and what some of my co-workers deal with on a daily basis. Here is a clip that totally cracked me up :

Awww man Well I have really gotten into her recently, and because I loved the Office I loved her annoying character (which I think shes trying to be annoying...IDK )

And yes do give it a try, it works AWESOME! Benefit is a great brand, pretty much everything I've tryed from them has worked out great (inluding the mascara ) Also the packaging is too adorable  Also L'Oreal has a great poor minimizer too and I use that quite often too, it works great. Its called "Miracle Blur"

Agreed on VS makeup, alot of it is pretty good. The face illuminator RULES I love using that, but I've never used the other things you mentioned. What is the SLT Illuminating gel? And loll don't even get me started on how much VS perfumes and lotions I have. Like its too much, I never thought there could be too much, but I have TOO MUCH! I have the Dream angels Halo, but that one is not my fav. My fav Vs frangrance is probably "The Bombshell" I'm not sure if they still sell it, but I bought it two years ago, and I still have it and the smell is so pungent in a very good way

Also I really love PINK lotions, especially these tubes that last forever

http://www.turboimagehost.com/p/17153175/1.jpg.html

In terms of clothing and loungewear what do you have?

And I don't use too many of the bronzers as I'm pretty olive skinned, but the one I did try I remember had either Gisele or Adriana on the bottle and it worked pretty good Or maybe that was body illuminator?

She is annoying even out of character

I agree, Benefit does have cute packaging I have heard of Miracle Blur but haven’t tried it yet. I will add it to my list of products to try!

This is the SLT Illuminating Gel I was talking about:

mlR3cLK.jpg

I hear you about having too much VS fragrances and lotions!!!   I think I am pretty much set for life but knowing me I will probably buy more My favorite fragrance from the Dream Angels collection is Desire. I am not sure do they still sell it though :notsure: OMG, I have the same thoughts about The Bombshell! It smells pungent (and kinda rancid if you sniff it for too long) but in a good way. SLT Noir is like that too...hahahah...

My absolute favorite VS fragrance is VS Dare. I am addicted to it. I kid you not! I cannot stop spraying it EVERYWHERE There is some sorta chemical in it that I am addicted to---It is like a drug I have had the bottle taken away from me b/c it was pissing people off

My favorite PINK lotion scent is Fresh & Clean. I also like the original PINK fragrance but I don’t know do they still sell it.

I have a variety of VS & PINK clothing and lounge wear. Mainly hoodies, sweatpants and leggings. I used to like VS’ basic long t-shirts before they seamed it on the back

I do vaguely remember a bronzer with Adriana & Gisele on the bottle. I think the packing was iridescent and it part of the Supermodel collection?

BTW, Happy Holidays!!! Hope it is a fabulous one  g015.gif Any special plans?

EDIT: I just noticed your second post :

Thanks Babe!!! So excited to see TWoWS!!!

There's a cartoon version? I didn't knew that.

Thanks for listening. Glad you liked them!

The album's going to consist of 6 songs, all of them kind of long though   .

Hahaha there's a lot of Progressive Metal actually. Dream Theater is a great example.

In turn I didn't know about Progressive Trance, I learnt something new too

Yes, here is the trailer :

I just listened to some of Dream Theater’s track. I like! (Y)

Progressive Trance is similar Progressive House except it is less shitty I am not a fan of House music b/c it is a bit too mainstream & “wannabe” for me and I rarely like the beats. I cannot decided do I dislike House or dubstep more

BTW, Happy Holidays!!! Hope it is a fabulous one  n031.gif Any special plans?

For those who are not blinded in love you are oh-so very right there Pinky. What sort of worries me these days with young women and men, but women more so is their concept of what a healthy relationship is Let's just say it revolves more around an imagine than good core principals. And for those who have a good healthy mindset we know what those principals are so no need to delve into those. Ha and looks, oh lord is that one slow but inevitable surprise for those type of women. Must be one rude awakening when one day their flirting doesn't get them out of a drink or food bill Hmm and plastic surgery is a delicate decision. I agree some might need it but for realistic reasons such as weight loss and all that excess skin, disfigurement due to a horrible incident or to balance out body symmetry since I can to a small extent understand insecurities with body size issues of various anatomical parts. What disturbs me is the sudden advertisement of plastic surgery over the air ways these past years. Almost making it seem like nothing more then the equivalent of getting your teeth whitened at the dentist every 6 months Surly something is wrong with the above eh?

Agreed, the bible does have some good key quotes in it to live a jovial and sustainable life but that alone doesn't make up for some of the vile interpretations people have made over the many millennia we have developed religion into what it is. I'm still more so over the scientific method since there is a more pragmatic approach to life then some "pulling a rabbit out of the hat" ideas the bible does put forth on people. Oh well, I would say to each there own but in this case people really need to learn how to think for themselves rather then fall for a piece of fiction.

Mmm plz invite me when you bake another I need to judge this deliciousness for myself to see if you are telling the truth Jajajaja, yes, yes I have seen that atrocity to food before. Not surprised either since if memory serves me rights actual "ribs" do not come in that shape or color

Oh gosh hun you know I'm going to search for the Minions version of Monopoly on Amazon now...see what you have done!

So many women (mainly those in their 20’s - 30’s) have messed mentalities when it comes to “love” They seem to be more in love with the idea “being in love” and getting married more than anything else. These women are VERY obsessed with the idea of having a ring on their finger so they could show it off & have people envious of them, wearing a wedding dress, and having a beautiful & fantastic wedding. Once all the glitz and glam is over reality hits them They realized they have to actually live with the person they married and a healthy marriage requires hard work (moreso than when they were dating). I know so many couples who divorced b/c they realized they got married for the wrong reasons. They (mainly the women) were more in love with the delusion and fantasy than their ex-spouse. Also, a lot of people settle b/c they feel “it’s time” to get married not b/c they are truly in love or feel their mate is the right person

If someone was in freak accident or something then I could understand why they would want plastic surgery. I have nothing against plastic surgery if it is related to a medical necessity. People who’ve had their stomach stapled lose weight rapidly and they end up having flabby skin. That is another instance I am ok with plastic surgery. I am talking about people who looked fine to begin with but for whatever reason decided to make themselves ugly by going under the knife. Examples: Bruce Jenner, Big Ang, Nikki Cox, and Donnatella Versace.

Some people do take religion to the extreme I think it is importance to have some sorta faith and spiritual guidance but at the same time be able to analyze information objectively and logically. I remember a local newscaster once said religion is the “why” and science is the “how”. Not saying I agree as it is a vague statement with many holes, but to some degree it does make sense from a moderate religious point of view

I will definitely offer you a taste test the next time I make pumpkin pie (Y)

BTW, Happy Holidays!!! Hope it is a fabulous one   k015.gif Any special plans?

The Raptors played the Bobcats. Now that was one intense game!! It went into overtime. We tied the game again near the end of overtime but with 1 second left the Bobcats scored and won the game! But even though we lost it was a very entertaining game... I wish all games were like that. So yeah blah blah it was worth the money.

Oh yes I occasionally would watch Buffy back in the good old days, but I was never obsessed with it though. When I would go to my cousins house they were all amped to watch the show, but I remember getting ancy and trying to pry them away from the TV to do other things lol, Angel... I probably only watched a few episodes of that. I used to love me some Sabrina the teenage witch though.. we're you ever into that? Damn I miss the 90's I get nostalgic thinking about it sometimes lol.

Yup I recognized Skinny Pete haha! Actually it took me some time .. when he first came on the screen he looked familiar but I couldn't figure out why and them after awhile I put two and two together... he cleaned up well. Also the episode when the "Stewmaker" uses acid to dispose of his victims reminded me alot of Breaking Bad. I watched the first 9 episodes but I didn't really like the series so I stopped watching it. The acting really annoys me and the storyline had me rolling my eyes most of the time, but I guess that's just me as it seems this is a well loved show.

Never heard of "Getting on" need to check that out. Thanks for the clip lol

So any special plans this holiday season? Finish Christmas shopping? I haven't finished... I'm just like a man.

Sporting events are always fun regardless does your team win or lose. It is nice seeing some of the avid fans and interacting with them

Yes! I used to watch Sabrina The Teenage Witch. Love that show MJH was also on another show I enjoyed, Clarissa Explains It All. Did you watch that show too?? I agree, the 90’s had some great shows. I assume you watched Growing Pains considering you are a Leo Heart?

I saw a preview of The Blacklist. It didn’t appeal to me.

No special plans but hanging out with my folks. I just finished X’Mas shopping on Sunday...hahaha It is so stressful to have to get so many gifts at once    and people at stores are stressed too so they end up being rude and mean

Happy Holidays!!! Hope it is a fabulous one  d030.gif What are your plans?

No I never watched Growing Pains while it was on the air... I was too young.. born in 1989 and I believe that show got cancelled in 1992 Actually I heard of the show for the first a few years ago and that's only because I saw it in Leo's filmography so of course I had to check out the episodes he was in. It's weird I never came across re runs or anything before that. I've heard of Clarissa explains it all but I never watched that.... actually the only show I can really remember watching faithfully in the mid 90's was Power Rangers lol

Oh ok so youre a late shopper too. And yeah I know!! Christmas really brings out the ugly in a lot of people, shouldnt be that way.

Christmas Day I'm going to my grandmothers house, every year the whole extended family gathers there for Christmas dinner!

Well MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

Ahhh ok. It wasn't that great of a show and I think Leo's reoccurring role was during the last 2 seasons. So you didn't miss much I enjoyed the spin-off "Just The Ten of Us" more I used to watch "The Power Rangers" too! But not faithfully

I did most of my X'mas shopping online but there were a few things I couldn't get online or it was best if I got them directly from the store.

How was your Christmas? Have you seen TWOWS yet? I am planning to see it Friday or sometime this weekend

Funny that they used the voices and music from Peter Jackson's movie

Talking about The Hobbit, here we still have to wait till Thursday to see it. And as I'm not in Santiago this time of the year, I'll have to see it in the crappy theater we have here...

Excuse my ignorance on this, but why is it called Progressive? I guess the term has a different meaning that in Rock/Metal music? Or am I wrong?

I don't think i've listened to House music. But well, the Electronic genre is not really my thing

Happy Holidays for you too!!! And Merry Christmas!

We're going to have a family dinner at my sister's place, and tomorrow we're doing a roasted lamb for lunch

You have any special plans?

I think they either did or are doing a digitally remastered version of the animated movie b/c of the huge popularity of the LOTR trilogy.

Where are during this time of the year?

You are mostly correct It is  "progressive" b/c of the length of the songs (usually about 7-8 minutes long or longer) mainly b/c of the build ups, break downs and conclusions (also part of the build up for the following song if there is one). The main focus is on the beats, mood and ambient more than on the vocals, if any. I think BPM has something to do with it as well but I am not a music expert so I don't have any comments about this

No special plans except hanging out with my family. Pretty low-key How was your X'mas? Was the roasted lamb delish?  g045.gif

I haven't heard anything about it, but it could be a good move

I'm in a smaller city to the South (Osorno), which is where I'm from and I'll be here during the summer vacations

So it has pretty much the same meaning as in Progressive Rock. So it's basically a more complex variant?

That's the best way to spend Christmas for me.

And the lamb was incredible!! The best I've had in quite some time.

712c74297199488.jpg

How was your Christmas?

Is Osnoro far from Santiago? Is it a short car ride?

Yes there are various complex variants that are often repetitive. Usually during the build-up/conclusion which is why I sometimes edit the first and last minute out. After 1-2 minutes of the same beat it could get annoying

That's quite lamb. Did your family catch and kill it themselves? F79DnT1.gif

My Christmas was ok. I spent it with my mom and sister at my parents' place. Low-key like I said

Yes, it's quite far, a little more than 900 km, so it's not a short ride  . 10 hours or so.

Progressive Rock and Metal look for the opposite on that matter. The monotony and repetetiveness are usually avoided. So you can have over 10 minutes songs that are always changing and evolving, like in some classical music actually.

No, my dad bought it at a local butcher's. It was amazing, we're still having the last leftovers of it

Ummm...yeah, that's pretty far So how did you get there? Plane? Train?

When I was in undergrad I used to listen to classical music right before my exams. It helped me relax and jump start my brain at the same time. Odd but very effective combo Now I mainly use it at night when I am having trouble falling asleep a010.gif

Although I am not fond of eating lamb, but leftovers....yum!!! FTubsBT.gif

Oh so your an online shopper. Last Summer (2012) I got into that... actually It was a bit of an addiction. But strange enough I haven't bought anything online within the last year... well except for pizza

Did you go Boxing Day shopping?

No I haven't seen Wolf... actually to be honest I'm not even looking forward to seeing that movie.. Just not into over the top comedies. I'm still rooting for it to succeed though... obviously because Leo is in it.

I do online shopping b/c I cannot deal with the chaos & ridiculousness of the mall during the holidays Another thing about online shopping I like is I could browse through stuff  in my PJs However I do think it is great you don't shop online frequently b/c it is somewhat addictive and you sometimes end up spending more than your realize   I don't think I have ever purchased a pizza online. I usually call-in my order for pick-up

I did do Boxing Day shopping...online I couldn't find anything I wanted or needed.

I saw Wolf today. Here are some of my thoughts (no spoilers): http://www.bellazon.com/main/topic/48721-the-wolf-of-wall-street/?p=3330563. If you are not into comedies I would skip it or wait for the DVD (Y) I had high hopes for this movie b/c it had so much potential   I know almost everybody loves Scorsese, but I think another director would have done a better job Someone like Mary Harron, Guy Ritchie, Danny Boyle, David Fincher or Sam Mendes
