My holiday has been ok. Been spending it with my family mostly. Also nice not having to go to work for almost a week I guess it is a break before it gets mad busy and chaotic

Nice to see you around Happy New Year!!!  a035.gif Any special celebration plans?

Oh yes, all the "Dance of.." might be by Tchaikovsky, it's just that I'm not familiar with those

Which movement of Beethoven's 9th are your favorites?

I specially love the 1st one. And the 2nd too.

No, actually I started kind of "late". I started to play guitar when I was 13, but I didn't start studying music till I was 19, almost 20. After high school I studied Engineering for 2 years before switching to Composition and Arrangements, from which I graduated 2 weeks ago

Hahaha too bad they don't last longer sometimes

Happy New Year to you too!!

We're having dinner with the family, and then I'll hang out with some friends

I don't like those big New Year parties though

You have any special plans?

I think most of the "Dance of" are from ballets. I took ballet when I was younger and I know a lot of ballet dancers

I like the 4th movement the best and the 2nd movement the 2nd best

What type of engineering were you studying? I tried learning the flute when I was 10---wasn't very good at it

Originally I was going to go out but I am feeling kinda tired from work   Also, it is freezing outside so I think I will just stay home and chill

Oh interesting! I don't know anything about ballet  . Except that Stravinsky's most known works are ballets (The Firebird, The Rite of Spring and Petrushka).

How much time did you do ballet?

The 2nd is amazing! I love all the counterpoint Beethoven uses there

For some reason I don't like the sections with the singing. I tend to prefer the instrumental music when talking about classical music.

It was Civil Engineering. And though I was very good at Math and Physics in High School, it wasn't really my thing.

Lol! Well, I wasn't very good when I started to sing anyway. But perseverance has paid off

Too much work today?

How cold is it over there?

Haven't heard of The Firebird until now, but have heard of both The Rite of Spring and Petrushka

I took ballet for about 2 years. Only been part of recitals but never in any legit performances

I kinda like the singing part although it took away from the instrumental music

I guess you found your true calling b/c I think you are a great singer

Not too much work but still a long day. It is about -5ºC outside now. There is going to be another snowstorm Thurs/Fri <_<

Oh I thought Juniper Breeze was a new scent... I don't know why I've never heard of it before a couple days ago. Was it discontinued for some time and then it recently made a comeback? BABW has only been in Canada for like 5 years so maybe that's why.

Believe me before I got that shelf my lotions where scattered all over my dresser in a horrendously messy fashion, looked like a tornado hit. That shelf changed my life lol. Downside is that I can't see the products in the back, so I forget what I have and just use the ones that I can see.

Bring on the bra collection lol!

For New Years, family and friends came over to my place...we just ate, talked then watched the countdown on TV nothing special.

In years past I'd go downtown to Nathan Phillips Square... it is our version of the whole New Years Times Square thing in NY, in that they have a bunch of performances (when I was there Keshia Chante performed, shes a Canadian R&B singer.. not sure if you've heard of her) theres a big countdown and its televised live.

I feel sorry for my dad he starts work at 7am on New Years Day, finishes at 7pm... that sucks ass. But that didnt stop him from drinking.. he's getting my mom to drive him to work as since he's only getting a few hours sleep the alcohol wouldn't be completely out of his system.

How did you celebrate New Years?

Yes, music is definitely my thing

Over there you work just like a normal day on New Years Eve? Here usually is just half the day.

Ooo that's cold!!! You're not very fond of snow I see?

It is a harsh reality for some when they realize the only person they could change is themselves. You cannot change or control others. If someone doesn’t want to change there isn’t a damn thing anyone could do about it

The willingness to compromise and/or meet half way, and occasionally give in a little is very crucial to any relationship. Not just romantic ones. I agree, marriage isn’t for everyone. So many people should not get married but b/c of societal pressure they end up making a huge thoughtless mistake

Someone once told me these grand weddings are for the bride to show off more than anything else. I think it is very possible to have a low-budget wedding that looks spectacular. It just requires of a lot of research, effort and creative thinking

Courtney Stodden? I personally think she is lying about her age. There is no way she is that young. If she is that young I guess the irony is plastic surgery made her look 10 yrs older...hahaha...

I have never heard of the game CARDS AGAINST HUMANITY. How do you play?

Happy New Year!  dc010.gif Any special plans to celebrate?

You know of the controlling ones when you see the man always grabbing the ladies food at every event At least that's what I have noticed in past times

But ah yes that meeting in the middle is crucial to ANY relationship as no couple will always meet on good terms on every decision to be Mr. Obvious here. But of course a argument or fight every now and then is part of it too

Make-up sex?

Oh god that is our girl Pinky Well no matter her age the before and after pics sure add those 10 years you are talking about. Not so much irony as it is scarey!

Here is the link I will not even try with this game ---> http://cardsagainsthumanity.com/ (I HIGHLY recommended this game for side splitting laughter)

Thx hun same back at ya! Well for New Years we went to a friends house this year. He's the one usually throwing the Halloween and New Years parties among others so he knows how to roll Best part of the night was of course when New Years struck and all the guys had to take a shot of tequila and all the women had a lemon wedge in their mouth and we all then meet with a sloppy sour kiss Good times I tell ya!

Yes, Juniper Breeze is one of their original scents They discontinued it a long time ago but they occasionally bring it back for SAS. I keep on forgetting BBW hasn’t been in Canada for that long. BTW, the limited-edition Paris Amour scent I like is "Paris In Bloom". I think I see it on your shelf

I just got from BBW two tubes of the Sea Island Cotton Creamy Body Wash (I was running out) and two Candy Apple lipglosses (I love apple-flavored lipglosses! ) Not that I really needed either since I have an abundance of both but it was SAS so I couldn’t resist

First picture is the draw where I store my non-everyday bras. They include push-ups, strapless/convertibles, and my fancier & prettier bras. In the second and third picture are my everyday bras. The draw was a mess so I decided to take them out to organize

Originally I was going to go out for NYE but I was feeling kinda tired from work. Also, it was freezing out so I just stayed home and chillax’ed

Ooo…a new flat. How exciting! In London right?

I heard there are a lot of gorgeous beaches in Thailand that are located away from the city and from most of the main touristy areas. Is that where you are going? A Full Moon Party sounds pretty fun. I assume lots of dancing, mingling and boozing? Do you know what type of music they play?

Speaking of choirs and singing, do you like opera? I am definitely not an opera aficionado but the very few I have seen (mainly through channel surfing) I did enjoy. Dior Couture S/S 2007 also sparked my interest  in opera

I was planning to work a half day but something came up so I worked a few hours longer than anticipated

I am ok with light snow but definitely not heavy snow We got about 10 inches over the past few days. Some of it will probably melt and then freeze b/c the high temperatures for the next few days are 5º, 10º, -8º, -4º, and 1º. Crazy weather I bet it is nice and toasty in Chile!

I haven't listened to much opera actually. The little I've listened I've enjoyed though, mostly Wagner who's work I'm more familiar with. But Wagner is kind of a special case anyway as his work goes beyond the boundaries of opera. I love how his music is more aggressive and how he pushed the limits of his day's music.

Why did that make you interested in opera?

Oh that's a lot of snow indeed! We only have that much snow here in the mountains

Some really cold days you have ahead!

It is nice over here indeed! Sunny skies and 24ºC - 25ºC today. A nice summer day that I made good use for going for a bike ride

I agree, Amy Poehler is hilarious---more than Tina Fey I have seen Amy perform live in person when she was still active with the Upright Citizen Brigade This was way before she became famous. She was definitely very funny and memorable

Yes, Desire is floral but kinda fruity. VS Dare has a citrus scent with a kick of spicy sweetness. I am telling you it is my drug    Here is a picture of it:

abrA2waA.jpg

Do you have a picture of the VS PINK gift set you got for Christmas?

I spent Christmas with my sister and mom. Pretty low-key. There is going to be a snowstorm so I might have to delay my visit to the SAS

Happy New Year!!!  e045.gif Any special plans to celebrate?

Wow you saw Amy perform live? Ughhh ya lucky, I bet it was hilarious Kristen Wiig is another funny one I love her!

Hmmm I don't think I've ever seen that one...but I guess I'll be having to keep my eye open for it

And Actually I don't have a pic and I tryed finding it online but I couldnt But its just a pair of yoga paints with a purple and white band, and a purple T to go with it. Nothing too exciting On another VS note me and my friend were talking about the other day how vs stuff runs SOOO big! Like thier clothing, I looked at a Pink tanktop and I was like "okay, large, it will definetly fit no problem" . It was this one in particular:

http://www.victoriassecret.com/pink/tees-and-tanks/layering-racerback-tank-pink?ProductID=63944&CatalogueType=OLS

And I like these kinda tanks loose too because you can see the bandeaus, etc. But THIS THING WAS HUGE! I'm like how is this a large, the neckline was literally down to the bottom of my boobs and cut sooooo low on the sides. I could have went with a small and still would have been loose. Now since then I notice that with all the PINK clothing, it all runs sooo big! IDK why the hell they do that

And well now we know you got some SAS in :brows:

And I didn't do much, just went to a friends house, watched the ball drop. You?
