And so true... alot of the winners of those reality shows fade out afterwards. Though American Idol has a somewhat decent track record... Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Adam Lambert (not sure if he was the winner or runner up). However, there's been a shit ton of seasons, thus winners and out of all that I can only name 3 people, so maybe that says something right there.
But yeah the modelling reality shows don't really produce supermodels... you're so right!

I believe there are 4 seasons of TWD... the 5 season coming soon. I myself need to finish watching the second half of season 4.

American Idol is one of those shows contestants probably don't want to win b/c the "losers" are more likely to do better career-wise after the show than the winners (which isn't saying much ). Examples: Clay Aiken, Kelly Pickler, Daughtry, and Adam Lambert, just to name a few, have done better than most of the winners. It is similar with the X Factor (UK). One Direction and Cheryl Lloyd didn't win and look where they are

Did you ever get a chance to watch that new sitcom "Friends With Better Lives" ? It aired last month and now its been cancelled. If you did, just want to know what you thought of it.
LOL...I had a discussion about this show last night with a pal So, yes I have seen the show. I am not surprised it got cancelled. It had potential but unfortunately it was trying too hard to be funny, the writing was sub-par, and casting was horrible. Although I must say Brooklyn did better than expected. You know the show is doomed when Brooklyn's acting was better than 2 of the seasoned actors

Pink, Oh wow didnt even know One Direction was on X Factor. I guess that's a very telling sign that I'm neither a fan of them nor follow them in anyway lol. However, I do know they are ridiculously popular... their mugs ( faces) are everywhere. 
just don't get it... however, back in the 90's people (who weren't teens) were probably saying the same thing about The Backstreet Boys and NSYNC (used to be a major fan girl )
Though back to the topic of reality/ competition TV... there's so many food ones! I like watching the FOOD network... mainly for shows like Dine ins, Drive Ins, and Dives.. You gotta eat here. However, that channel is bombarded with Chopped, America's best cook, Top Chef, Cut throat kitchen... so many of them. Not a fan of them.

yeah unfortunately FWBL won't be a breakout role for Brooklyn, wonder if she'll ever find a show or movie that'll make her really shine. That seems to be where she wants to steer her career, so I wish her all the best. I mean she had that Adam Sandler movie, Just Go with it, but still I wouldn't call it a defining movie role for her. Speaking of models in show biz... Kate Upton did very well with The Other Woman. Haven't seen it yet... Have you? Did you enjoy it?

. One can enjoy the taste (though somewhat less juicy) of pork on one hand, but much healthier on the other hand (due to its exercise and natural diet). As to how long I was up there, I wish someone had it on tape to keep it objective because it always seems longer with things like that. Truth be told, I doubt it was that long. More hardcore animal rights people say I should be ashamed to have had pet pigs and eat meat, but well...meh .

There are even places where they have competitions with teams to see who can catch the most in a net. Some wear helmets though. Another bright side is that whereas I don't eat bigmouth bass due to the fact that they were imported for big game fishing, I do eat carp. Due to the fact that carp threaten much more popular fish along with their boniness, there's no fear of creating a demand for them. I'm adept at cleaning and deboning fish, so (with some thick gloves) I don't mind so much. Actually, I have quite a few fileted in my freezer .

Sorry haven't been around much Work has been kicking my ass and to make matters worse I have been sick---been in/out of the doctor's and hospital the last few weeks
