So I'm part of a union at work and I just got a phone call

Saying that if we and the company don't come into agreement by midnight tonight... Then we are officially going on strike

Oh, what happened??

Well, those issues is what I imagined. It's a big union! And big company. Quite a number of workers.

So you think you'll be going on strike?

^ I'm thinking so, to be honest I haven't been paying close attention to the negotiations. I've been with this company less than 2 years, I hope I'm not still with this company 2 years from now. It's such a waste of my College diploma working there.I just hope I get another call explaining what to do. My next shift is on Tuesday and I'm hearing that I'll have to go in and picket in front of the store. Not looking forward to that.

^ That doesn't sound as a something to look forward too   Specially if you're not that interested in working in there.

Thanks Then after I graduated and got that diploma...I went back to do a Human Resources program... But I never finished with it. I was just fed up with school at that point.

So are you going to have a Copa America party tommorrow... like a group of friends and such?

I'm not sure, but probably not  Never been that much into it. Maybe something could come up for an eventual final, who knows

So I was right in being sceptical on my last doctors visit where they listed me as 5'5. I knew I was taller than that.... I always thought myself to be 5'6/ 5'7. So today I had to find my height to list on my passport renewal form.... and it said 170cm on my drivers license. which works out to 5'7. Sorry, this so random But lately I was wondering about it haha

^ Actually now I'm questioning my drivers licence. I just used a measuring tape to measure myself and I look about 5'5. I figure 5'5 to be about average but I notice I'm taller than a lot of women I encounter... so I thought I was slightly above average. Guess not plus my mom lists herself as 5'9 and I'm not that much shorter than her.... tommorrow im going to measure her and see My dad says he's 5'8 1/2 .... and my brother is definately well over 6ft. He's very tall. I'm the shortest in my family. However, in regards to my extended family... I'm taller than most of the females.

I don't know where the 170 cm came from... I don't even wear shoes that would give me a two inch boost

Actually now I'm even more confused I just measured my bro and he's listed at 5'11... But he claims he's 6'2. He laughed when I told him he's 5'11, he says it's not true And i totally believe it because he's most definately over 6ft no question. So maybe im just not measuring properly.

So I went for a bicycle ride today: 64 km and I ended kind of destroyed   I was freezing on the way down though. When I was going up the last uphill part of my route I noticed a cold wind and that despite all the effort I wasn't gaining any heat. Then I thought the way downhill wouldn't be pleasant    (this was around 6 PM). And I was right. I was FREEZING on the way down. And far from home, so a full hour going downhill was expecting me and it wasn't nice being so cold

You know Emeka Okafor, right? Whatever happened to him. in the 2004 draft he was expected to go number 1, but that went to Dwight Howard... he went #2. I think he's still in the league, but he's surely not making a big impact because I don't even remember seeing him this past season. I wonder if he had a great career during the time I stopped watching basketball. Do you know?
