Ah, you can say that again. Wonder how crazy people will get here when a Toronto major league sports team gets to the finals. I believe Canada won the Hockey Olympics or something a couple years ago, but I don't remember hearing about any outrageous behaviour, maybe I just wasn't paying close enough attention. Anyways, I think if the Blue Jays, Maple leafs or Raptors won a championship it would be a bigger deal. There would probably be some dangerous celebrating going on.

Ours is September 18 and we call it 'Fiestas Patrias'. I told you about it once, on how many people think it's our independence day, but actually it's not (and the actual independence day goes unnoticed and no one celebrates it).
