It's probably best that I've been "barely here" the past few (or more) days. My sarcastic 2 cents in a tense situation usually results in more issues.

I've missed having Nicole and Mike around so I'm happy about that change for sure...as well as one other change in particular, to be perfectly honest. *coughneocough* as much as I hate admitting it.

OK, so how long are we going to leave people in the dark about what really happened on Staff?

By no means do I want to hang Neo out to dry. That would be spiteful and vindictive and that's not my intention. On the other hand, a lot of people are asking questions and with Neo crying "woe is me" on WFT (and trust me, a shitload of people on BZ have seen it), people are starting to wonder what happened. Especially since a lot of people considered this board to be Neo's, his demotion comes as a bit of a shock to them.

So what do we want to do about it? I don't think keeping completely silent is a good idea just like I don't think giving every gory detail is a good idea. Perhaps some middle area?

If anyone else ask just say, the majority of the staff did not feel he was able to fulfill his duties as an admin., so he got de-admined. I think keeping it concise is the best way to go (Y)

Another way we can put it is, he and the staff weren't the right fit for each other, so we felt it was best for him to resigned, or something along those lines

It needs to be pinned, and it needs to explain, maybe not in vivid detail, but many of the reasons, he is no longer and Admin, i.e; the repetetive rule breaking, and of course his invasion of members privacy by reading their PM's, which regardless of whether any of you want to believe it, he did do while he was here. If you want a source talk with Greeneyed Lady, she will vouch for the fact that he used to read her PM's, unless of course she doesn't want to incriminate him.

It needs to be straight forward, to the popint, not to detailed, but needs to get across the reasons why he is no longer on this staff.

And we can make it an announcement or whatever that way everyone who doesn't visit Neo's thread can see why.

He did shit that basically undermined everyone else on this staff, and he's paying the consequence, that should be enough for them.

I agree. I think the more concise the better, and we should avoid bashing him (Y) Just say he did not follow the rules therefore most of the staff felt he was not fit to be an admin, so he got de-admined .

So, who will compose this announcement?
