I agree. I think the more concise the better, and we should avoid bashing him (Y) Just say he did not follow the rules therefore most of the staff felt he was not fit to be an admin, so he got de-admined .

So, who will compose this announcement?

Yes, Admins can read pm's, and he did so whenever he felt like it. He claimed that he did not figure how to read them once we changed over to IPB from the old forum, but he mistakenly mentioned something to me in a PM, about something I had said in a PM to another person, so this is how I know he was reading them, at least mine for sure. This is just another reason we do not need a guy like that having access to people's personal stuff.

But, yes I agree, (I haven't checked if OS has posted it yet or anything) very straight forward, he couldn't follow the rules, and such, and steer clear of the bashing is a good idea as well, that way we don't have people feeling more sorry for him, when they really shouldn't be feeling sorry for him in the first place.

And it also makes the staff look bad, and we don't want that

Title: recent staff changes

As many of you have probably noticed, Neo52285 is no longer an admin. He was recently demoted because it was determined that his remaining on staff was no longer appropriate. He repeatedly undermined the staff by making major decisions without consulting anyone else. Moreover he never took responsibility for his actions, instead choosing to lie about them or blame others for his mistakes. As a result, and after much consideration, maddog107 decided to demote him, and at the same time stepped down.

What should I add, remove, or fix?

You might want to use "maddog107" instead of "James" because not everyone knows his real name. And also you used "Neo52285" in the first sentence, so using "maddog107" would keep the consistency

Unrelated to this announcement, I was wondering

How do people feel about reinstating Ashley (Lullaby) as a mod? She quit at the same time as Mike, Meghan and I did because of the whole Neo situation but she has expressed a desire to come back. When she was here, she was a good worker and more often than not offered input on staff issues. I think she'd be a good (re)addition, but obviously this is a matter for the entire staff to discuss. So what sayest everyone?

2. re: the announcement - I was just giving the staff a full day to give feedback on what I wrote. Since no one seems to have any objections to it, I guess I'll go ahead and post.
