IMO, Jess' was at her best in Into The Blue

This video is only in French, but the images are exclusives, so, you could find it anyway interesting:

You already showed me Bree, but this gallery is great. She's is like a mix between Sasha Luss and Elsa Hosk !

Yeah, sadly some good models deserve more fans, like Bree. But it take so much time to do a good job at udating a thread that, good posters and fans are not legions ...

Instagram is the best tools so far, i use it a lot to find news, Social Networks mainly are helpful !

Ah yes, I remember those gifs...A "high class film"..that one. :->  She was also good in Sin City :-)  Alba was such a bad actress.  I remember how (at prob. the request of her agent) she started making public appearances declaring that she's more than a beautiful face/body and how she wanted more serious roles.

Pretty much all the German wartime newsreels are on youtube.  Here are some Soviet ones.  I have a couple more saved if you are interested.:

Yep!  I like Bree but it does take much time to search for galleries and such.

More of this needs to be found!

Yes, and now she doesn't work a lot, but she's extreamly rich thanks to the company she created, so ...But she still do some editorials, and she's still very hot

I mean ...

I'm watching right now a good documentary on TV, it's a comparison between Staline and Hitler ...

I added some new contents on Brooke Buchanan's thread, you may like them

ah, she still has it.  Interesting..

Thanks for Brooke's stuff.  She looks a lot like a certain British glamour model- her name escapes me as of the moment.

What is not frequently known is how warped Stalin's perspective after the soviet winter counteroffensive of 1941-1942- In both he and STAVKA's mind, the competitive position was around what was historically, circa fall of - 1943.  This false appreciation of soviet superiority lead to gigantic military blunders until Dec 1942...the Soviets then tried to erase or marginalize these things from history.

My current reads:

-Tomb of the Panzerwaffe (Hungary 1945)

-GFM von Bock War Diary

-Halder War Diary 1941-1942

-The Blitzkrieg Legend 1940, Halder War Diary 1939-1940

When I get to #4, I might post some things about it or ask you questions.

Interesting books

I'm lucky here because one of the tv channel i have, broadcasts a lot of documentaries about this time...Some about the Soviets are particulary interesting...I don't know well the WW2 seen from their side as i said...like many people actually.

Oh, I remember now.  Brooke looks like Danica Thrall!

It seems like Charlotte Mckinney has modeled very little since the summer.

They are like the antithesis of each other- one gets rail thin and into mainstream swimsuit/commercial modeling while the other stays curvy, gets implants, and sells sex in men's magazines and tv appearances.

I miss charlotte's antics.

Wages of Destruction , even with all of its major defects- is one of the most influential- probably the most influential history that came in over the last decade.  It is often considered a decisive cornerstone in one's understanding of the progress of the war.  I read it shortly after it came out.

The presentation by Prof. Tooze is informative and engaging.  The idea of "Icarus" personifies the german military ambition.

Are you excited about it?  has it met your expectations?

I am relieved to see that they stick to the classic designs.

Yeah, i'm very excited, since i saw the first trailer there's one year ago now

I will wait to watch the movie to give any opinions about it, but i feel it will be fun !

Do you feel it good ?

I think the pilot we can see through the differents trailer is actually a bigger character that we can expect, i read some theories about it on the web

I wrote about the negatives I feel:  http://www.bellazon.com/main/topic/56940-star-wars-the-force-awakens-2015/page-3#entry3873953

The appeal of star wars was its elaborate props and set pieces- the film is most suitable if it contains that.

per the quality, I don't know.  My hunch is that it'll be a 3/4 film like all of Abram's films- or it may be better.  I don't know.  It wouldn't disappoint me either way.

Hmmph, who's the pilot?  It looks like the main characters are the black guy and the girl.  how about the bad guys?  I really know nothing- I need to do my research on this, lol.

I try to don't inform myself about the story of this new episod, especially because it's only theories so far ...

dYMenIwY.jpg

^ This character seems to be more important than it seems ...Idk for the black guy or the girl ...
But i'm happy that Abram is the director of this movie, i liked Cloverfield, or Super8 and StarTrek too, It could have been worse then JJ IMO
Lucas was not a great director imo, The Empire Strikes Back is my fave so far, and wasn't directed by Lucas himself so...
I'm not into nostalgy, there had the old ones, they were great, and now, there is a new one, cool !

hah, his image is quite small in that poster (third tier)- I am guessing that it suggests order of importance.

My childhood memories are that I enjoyed all three.  The 2nd is known to be the favorite and the 3rd is considered the weakest one.  The next three- I never got into but I heard the third was the best.

Will there be a trilogy (for the new star wars) ?  I think what is notable about this trailer is how little...new things there are.  It looks like 'jj' is sticking it old-school.

I've been looking at the British Army in Normandy recently (21 AG) and I wonder, what is the French public and your view on the campaign to liberate France?  Is it positive or does it have some warts?

Yes but on this poster, there's not Luke either...and either in the numerous trailers so far ...

Yes the 3rd was definitely the better one !

Not sure if they will do a new whole trilogy, but i hope for it

My view is overal the same as many people here, it was a great thing, for what we are all very thankful to the American people !

No warts. Really. French were not nazy at all, we lost the war, and was occupied. Some was resistants, like 5% of the population... and some was collaborationnistes, from 1% to 5% ~ ...The rest was waiting for this liberation.

I know also, this american and bristish armies was an invasion army, it's only later when the boys were here and they all saw that french was happy and thankful fot that, that the name changed...

In a first time, american thought they were going to occupy us, but they saw it was something impossible...Mainly because the Historic background between our two countries, and the pression of Churchill on this subject. Even if French who know history still think that Bristish army betrayed us at the end of the Battle of France in 1940 ...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Dunkirk

But later, and very quickly, french fought with the allied again https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2nd_Armored_Division_(France)

Very interesting.  Have you been to Caen ?  It's a great battle site.  I would like to see it someday.

Interesting about Dunkirk- although I understand why they left.  If those 350,000 or so stayed, the Wehrmacht would have just encircled and captured them anyway and the British Army would be in ruin.

The British Army and CW were rather tricksters in 44/45 from the US perspective- by reducing their infantry arm to 20% cap of their manpower base, they ensured that they would not pull their weight in the final stage of the war.

Yes, I remember that French armored division from the Falaise pocket battle.

What do French think about the allied destruction of french villiages and towns with bombing and artillery?  Truthfully, a lot of it was unnecessary if they had fought with manuever warfare instead of material based attritional methods.
