Yes, i agree with that... Media are now taking a too big part in the democratic system. Politics, media and business are too linked. For many, all that is the same thing.

^^In the US, the academia (esp. Ivy League) also have strong influence on the media.  They are among the most effective influences due to their rhetorical skills/pedigrees, noble peace prizes and so forth.

I have wondered if the french university elite have a similar type of influence in France.  I have heard that universities have even more social power in france (eg. CEOs, political leaders being often elite graduates) than in the US.

It's a good thing that the internet has helped break up the "establishment" media a bit.

Have you watched Last of the Mohicans?  (set during the French and Indian war).  It's one of my favorite movies, and wildly liked in the US as a classic.  In the film, the indians are presented as "noble savages".   It's probably completely romantic/fantastic but still it's a very good movie.   -Just wondering what you thought the depiction of the French in the film.

^ Internet did that yes...But i find the internet more and more negative about that...Of course it's fater and easier to find the truth behing the lines, and more sources and etc...But Internet UPKEEP the flame of the LAME conspiaracy theories...This worry me a lot.

Of course our societies are perhaps "oriented" by some obscure power, or circles of influences...But extremists from every parties are insing that now to tease the less educated people living in our societies...

I didn't watched this movie, so, i can't really tell... But i know this time pretty well. But tell me what you think about it

I've started watching Assassin's creed unity last night.  Wow, the beginning (Versailles, French revolution) is dense with terrific artwork , animations, and world building.

no, a story driven game based on a model of 18th century paris.  I like using cowboy's walkthroughs for Assassin's creed:

I guess it's fine if  you wanted them custom imprinted, but I'd just eat them so it would be a waste of cash.

Bandai has released a series of "samurai" star wars figurines.  I saw one today and was impressed at their quality.  The packaging is still in Japanese and the basic stormtrooper was 82 USD:
