I preferred to leave the terms up for definition... but since people have voted, I can offer one. break-up sex, to me, is what happens when either you break up, and it's a tearful affair, and you take comfort in what's potentially one last go at it... or else it's a spiteful thing that raises the blood to a boil, getting both people all hot, and it's just pure physicality... or else you broke up a day or week ago, but you get together to talk about things, and it leads to sex - but there's no reunion, so it's not make-up sex.
