I'm doing pretty good. Been messing with some new photoshop brushes today, and sorting out the junky ones I don't like.

Got a VS Shoe Book with Ana Beatriz on the cover I'm getting ready to scan momentarily. I'm glad they decided to give me this one.

Changed my desktop today. Not much else going on here. Hows your life?

Yeppers, I got it, I'm just glad the mailman got it in the right mailbox. I don't know how good the scans are gonna be though, as VS paper is pretty terrible, and I really don't like making my scans look like someone dumped a big ass bucket of smudge all over the whole thing. Kinda getting tired though don't know if I'm gonna actually start tonight though.

I'm pretty good today, gonna do some scanning, and some twitching because my computer is so slow. :| It's driving me nuts, I have to get a new computer soon. Been playing some games lately and have really been noticing the lack of performance as well as a really loud buzzing from inside the case. So If I stop showing up here it's probably because I caught some shrapnel from my computer exploding.

Getting ready to eat dinner, woot!

How go things for you?

Sounds like you're having a good day.

I know all about those types of people, their true colors tend to bleed through when they have no actual consequences to atone for. Why people are this way? We may never know. I think a lot of people are inherently fucked up, but the difference is in who chooses to make use of it for attention and those who just deal with it without having to pour it all over other people.

And then there are just those people who are beyond repair, and ultimately more messed up than even the sickest mind could imagine. We have a few of those here.

Ok Mike, I have a question. Why was I warned? It seems crazy to me, and I don't understand it. I'm not going to ask Neo, because he is illiterate. You on the other are very smart, so please explain this to me...

Alright so I saved your thread for last. (last of the guys I talked to on here, that have threads) I have tons of respect for you, because you do seem to be so smart. Something about you just makes you have that cool presents. Granted I don't know you that well, but that has always been my impression of you. Just like that pm I sent you (one when I first joined bellazon), I do think you do a great job running this place. I hope you keep it up, because you are a great middle man.

Arizona is fucked up yes. But it gets weird. I mean I'm allowed to bash it, but other people do and it makes me twitchy. I like it a lot better here than in Winona (where I grew up) where everyone knew everyone else and they had to know EVERY SINGLE MOMENT OF THE DAY what you were doing. Minnesota can bite me.

As for the Halloween thing, they're going to do what they want to, and it's not like people didn't go out for candy anyway, screw the city of Mesa. The malls always have a big thing, and I know my friends throw parties. Both for Halloween and Samhain so hey. At least I had something to do.

Why they did it I don't know, since last time I checked, God didn't give two hoots what the Pagans were doing. The Church just likes to think he does, but THAT'S a whole other rant.

Sunday is for sleeping. Football just goes right over my head. Even though I watch Packer games, I haven't the faintest idea what's going on. I'm a hockey girl, always will be. Other sports (baseball for instance) bore me to tears.

As for the meeting, I barely did. I had my nails dug so deep in my friends arm he had welts for days. Good thing I don't have very sharp ones or someone would have been bleeding It just bothers me that people can't open their eyes and look around them to see the obvious. So locked in what they think is right that they can't see that maybe they're totally wrong.

I like the Elle scans too, though after I finished them I saw one or two things that made me go "AUGH". But it's something I can deal with later. I'd just like to have bigger scans. It scans in at 6000 width wise, and I chop it down so it's the page, then make it smaller because with 600 dpi, 6000xWhatever it is is downright bad. A lot of what I do now for cleaner scans is all in photoshop. Layer masks, selective colors, and channel mixers are my friends these days.

I got to the point of coding my own module for NWN but that was before the hard drive died so I more or less lost it. I should probably redo it but I'm being lazy and don't want to. Besides I should probably write it out on paper so I know what the heros and villans are getting up to before I sit down and start building inns in the frozen tundras.

I tend to be the cool guy wherever I go you know, Life of the party right here!! No actually not really, thanks for the comp though, I try to be civil and nice to everyone. If that makes me cool, then I am glad. I'm not really smart though I've just gotten good at pretending that I am smart.

Regarding the other quote, I assume you may have already talked to someone else regarding that situation, and it's done and overwith as far as I'm concerned, and you're still here it seems, so looks like everything is worked out to a satisfactory end I hope. (Y)

I didn't realize she was subscribed to her topic, lots of messages got sent her way.

I know what you're saying about being able to bash where you live, but feel a little odd when other people do so. The place you live is kinda part of you so I understand what you mean. They sound like crazies there though. , but I think no matter where you live, you will have your share of eccentric peoples.

I can't imagine having such a close relationship with my neighbors that they were integrated into my everyday life, a hundred years ago maybe but now days it just seems strange for everyone else in town to know your business. Definitely a good thing you got outta there. Not to mention the weather in AZ is awesome compared to the north up here. It's 65 or so here today, and in maybe 15 days it's gonna start dropping, not looking forward to that of course. Snow really sucks, but it's fun as hell to drive on. I'm picturing myself doing donuts right now.

Well as long as you can still celebrate the holiday in whatever way you want, there's not much they can do to ruin it for you, like you said as long as you have something to do it's not so bad. I feel sorry for your friend with the bone deep fingernail gauges, sounded like he paid a small price for the boards ignorance.

Lately sunday has been for sleeping for me too, as I have been sleeping until 2:30 in the after noon and completely missing the first part of any of the games they show here. I'm sure this is partly to blame for the Packers losing streak. I'm convinced that if I don't see the whole game they lose, and it's been right the first three games. I live in HockeyTown it's impossible for me to not like hockey, this place freaks out during hockey season. I can only cheer for the Red Wings though as anything else in Detroit is blasphemy(not that I would cheer for anyone else given the chance  ), I mean seriously the cops will shoot you with those beanbag guns if they see you wearing an Avalanche jersey. Well maybe they won't go that far but, it's rough if you don't like the red wings in detroit.

I always come across something that I find after I'm all done with a scan, that makes me go "How the hell did I miss that" <_< I think it might have to do with the fact that when your editing the scan or whatnot, you know how it looked when it began, and you can see where all the little defects are even after they have been removed. Makes you ultra aware of other little problems I think.

I assume she does I know I do. But I have gmail and that's sort of hard to kill.

I bash Detroit But that's because I'm from, or rather most of my family is from, Chicago. And there's the whole battle between those two cities in just about everything (I have a 'Red Wings Suck' bumper sticker. It's on my wall until I get a car. The 'rent has another one on HER car ). And of course everyone down here hates everyone from the midwest because they try to bring their green michigan grass and plant life with them and it just doesn't work out here. Most desert plants are weeds. There is a reason for this. And we're in the middle of a 10 year drought. So there will be no over-watering of any kind for extra greenness.

The close to the neighbors thing I DO NOT miss at all. But I miss Chicago. And will probably end up back there someday at least when I don't have family members from hell to deal with (aren't those always fun?). And the weather is alright, but I'm one of those freaks who likes bad weather. Rain, snow. I love it. I hate 100 degree days and weeks and weeks of sunshine. It's boring. And I tan. Not good. Must keep up the pastey white complexion

Most of my holidays I celebrate despite people. Because people are dumb. And I'm abusive to the poor boy but we've only known each other forever so he can deal with it.

I played hockey, so to dislike it would be....really weird. I don't know if that would even be possible. Phoenix as a whole is not what one would call a hockey town but we have a lot of out of state fans. Detroit people like to congregate here and I don't know WHY. It's just wrong. Sick and wrong. Of course you wear anything but Phoenix around here and people don't really have an issue. Phoenix is too laid back to really care one way or another, I think. It is and always will be the 'wild west' out here so people have a different mentality. They're still cracked, but a laid back kind of cracked.

I always always always find something. And then I want to fix it but it's already out there and I get lazy or distracted. Or disgusted with Photoshop for being a twit and quit.

Yeah, I guess it's only right to bash the rival city of your home town But to tell you the truth it's really okay for anyone to bash Detroit, I mean it's detroit after all, ripe for the bashing.

I am afraid though that I can not stand idlely by and allow you to parade your obvious disdain for the Red Wings the "team of teams" across your bumper. I shall challenge you to a duel. :avada: <--

I can't believe that people try and bring their greeneries down there with them. That's funny, if that stuff was meant to survive down there it would be naturally flourishing already, you wouldn't have to plant the stuff. People are strange sometimes.

I could give you some stories about crazy family, but it sounds like you already have enough of that, no need to add to it by sharing mine.

I like the rainy weather and the snow michigan gets, but I do prefer it to be warm when it rains at least, of course that's more than I can hope for in winter. We've got a good variety of weather so no boredom with that as you know. Everything just looks better up here when it's covered in 3 feet of snow though. And of course that paleness is a necessity around here, can't really remember the last time I saw the sun personally. I don't think I could handle living in a place that never really cools down though, I'll always be a northerner.

You know until I moved to Michigan I had never even heard of Hockey, or Football, I used to live in Idaho, and it seems they don't promote anything there. Now I'm hooked though.

It seems strange that so many people from Detroit tend to migrate towards AZ and NV. When I went out to Vegas, on my way back, the terminal was packed on the way back with people catching planes bound for detroit, coming back from vacations or whatnot, there were a lot of them. Plane was packed on the way out too stopping over in Phoenix. People getting away from the November cold I assume.

Laid back kind of cracked I guess this is probably the best kind of cracked to be. People around here tend to be a little more wound up for whatever reason. Personally I think it's because Detroit is just a pretty trashy city and it's wearing off on the people who live here. Hockey fans freakin out is probably just somekind of harmless way of releasing the pressure. Red Wings fans really aren't too bad though as long as your not a octopus of course.

I hate the Red Wings for several reasons. Shanahan (slut of the NHL), Chris Chelios (traitor), and the fans. At least those I've met are utterly obnoxious and I don't have time for people like that. So they can bite me. That is the one and only game I've gone to where someone actually spit at us. Blood on my jersey? Fine. Other bodily fluids? No. This thing is signed man

Oh man, my father's side is all farmers. Which just shows they're all nuts. Especially since my grandfather wants to give me one of the farms in his will. Do I look like a farm girl to you? Nooo. Ew.

I miss snow. I mean out here you can drive for two hours and see it, then drive back to sunshine again, but it's not the same. And I like rain better anyway. Which is funny since I'm living in a place where it NEVER rains. And what's disgusting? It's almost october and we're still hitting 100 almost every day.

And oh man, the snowbirds. People are usually out here for monsoon season (end of the summer) and will drive into washes. The thing about washes it it LOOKS like it's only a few feet of water but in reality is very much not. So now we're charging the stupid tourists to pull them and their cars out of the water. A year or two ago it was a public service.

I think the further west you get, the more tighter people are wound. Out here it's just...sun and dirt and for the most part there isn't a whole lot to stress over. In Detroit there was the car thing, and it's pretty much people and trees so you all go crazy eventually.
