I don't go to wtf that much anymore, but with the recent lullaby non credit i thought i'd pay a visit..i just noticed some photos of mine have been by this same person and the tag has been removed. oh well...

I'm not ignorant, but when it's a poster of questionable behaviour it does make one wonder. I ain't about to accuse anyone, i'm fully aware old photos end up here there and everywhere and people do this and that to them and they get found and re posted, so that could be what happened here. I just take a bit of offense cause they are rare, not easy to get pics and were first posted at chilax, i haven't seen them posted in their original state without a tag before. i don't know if i've seen them here, but..oh well..what can you do.. i'd like to give people benefit of the doubt.

She will always claim that she found it somewhere else, rather than face being ridiculed for being a fucking thieving git. Personally I think the thing she gets a kick out of most is letting people think that they are going to lose her now (that little bit she posted on wft), she's probably getting exactly the results she intended.

Seriously man, good advice, block her permanently, don't talk to her anymore, you'll be a better man for it in the end. Conversing with people like that can lead to detrimental things, no matter how much you may think you have her at arms length, you are still letting her play the game.

They'll whine anyway. They're hockey players, it's what they do. Especially this one. Though losing 24% to a rollback, and 20% more to this escrow thing is just ridiciulous. Sure, they're making 8 million a year. But just like anyone else, you go from making such-and-such amount of money and then suddenly you're making HALF that and things aren't going to be fun at home. They live certain lifestyles that they won't be able to afford now. On the other hand, dude, I'd love to get paid to play hockey. The scoring is alright, and I can stand the pentalties (really stupid penalties) but the whole smaller pads/can't play the puck thing for the goalie just makes me twitch.

Speaking of that, my mom went to a game on Thursday between LA and Phoenix. And you know, if people at that game are what fans are going to be like? Phoenix doesn't deserve a team. Like people can shout all they want to and such, but these people tried spitting on her and almost ran her over with their cars because she had the opposing team's jersey on. Which happens EVERY game, it's not like everyone in the valley roots for the coyotes, you know?

Of course, I'm going to be bitchy and say they're West Valley so what do I expect (The East Valley is where I live, and where they used to play and practice. Which obviously they don't anymore ).

I get the thing between Chicago and Detroit. They're both original six, they're both in the same area, and it's understandable that fans from both teams go between those cities all the time so the tensions are high. But Phoenix and someone like the Avalanche makes no sense to me. Maybe I'm far too tired to be thinking about this.

I was watching Miracle and Slap Shot. The Mighty Duck movies sort of amuse me, but are in no way realisitc ("Goldberg, you're the goalie. It's supposed to hit you." "Does that sound stupid to anyone else?"). But hey as long as they get people into the game right? I don't even know about the OLN thing. I know ESPN didn't renew the contract or something, when it ran out during the lock out. Not that it matters since we bought the cable package so we don't have to watch that channel anyway. We watch NHL Center Ice, or Fox Sports when it's local since they block it.

You're right, they will whine anyways, which is especially annoying considering they are playing this rough ass sport, and then whine like babies off the ice. Like you said losing that much of your salary is a hard bit to take though, I can imagine it's a major lifestyle change when you can no longer have crystal flowing into your pool. I agree though, they are definitely having to deal with something that they shouldn't have to, and I can see why some players are visibly angry with it. I think it would be a blessing to get to play any sport for money, sometimes these guys tend to forget they are getting paid to play a game which used to be fun and still is for the majority of them.

I can't believe it has gotten that bad in terms of rivalries at the games. Spitting at someone is crossing the line, and trying to hit someone with a car because they like a team you don't is bordering on psychotic. Like you said people can scream and yell, however they want, but once they cross that line they are just bringing a bad name to a game that already has issues with it's image. It seems though that there are a few of these people in every hometown. I haven't heard of anything like this going on up here in Detroit this year, but I assume similar things probably happen when the right team is in town.

I can see the old tested rivalries sticking around, and having a good reason for being in the first place, years of competitive sport, but like you said it seems that some fans just make up rivalries to feel at home maybe. Like they have to find someone to hate the most, so they just collectively pick their least favorite opponent, and try and get as angry as possible.

Miracle and Slapshot, those are the kind of Disney, feel good about the human will, kinds of movies. Like Rocky for small Italian guys, makes them feel like they can do anything. I used to love those Mighty Ducks movies when I was a little younger, but the last time I watched one, I was like "What the hell is going on". But if you watch it while suspending belief a little it can be one of those types of movies where it gets people interested and that's a good thing. I got re-interested in football after watching Any Given Sunday, so I mean movies go a long way to help people get into things.

It seems around here that Fox Sports is the only channel that does occassionally show a game, UPN, and regular Fox used to show some games, but I'm not sure what happened there, I'm guessing they just filled up contract timeslots, and are unable to make room for hockey now that it's back. I get CBC up here though, and they usually have hockey on which is nice, but usually it's only the Canadian teams, which is better than not seeing it at all you know?

That has been my intention all along, to influence others into seeing how beautiful Ana is, as well as bringing others back into the fold of Ana avatar haver people.

The 'Yotes are on a roll lately, I don't know what it is. They played Chicago the other night, but since chicago blacks out local games, I didn't see it. I can't listen to hockey on the radio it makes me twitch I have nothing to yell at.

Well it's good to hear they are picking it up, that's the best thing for getting people interested of course, and it doesn't hurt to take down the wings when your trying to keep a good thing going.

I think I'm about to give up on trying to see any games this year, I'll just end up watching the playoffs, unless of course something horrendous happens to the wings season, and they don't make it. I swear that better not happen.

I didn't think Gretzky could coach. I mean, he can't run a business, I'll put it that way. But he seems to be doing alright.

I haven't gone to a game yet because they are ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS on Thursday, and I have english until 6. And of course it takes about half an hour to forty five minutes to get to the arena now. IF the traffic doesn't suck. Not counting the fact that the 'rent likes to be there at pre-skate.

I wish I could afford to get into a game, or even get lucky enough to find an open seat if I managed to afford a ticket, Joe Louis is always frickin sold out. <_<

Gretzky seems to be handling the reigns pretty well, which is great, considering he was untested basically.

I hear ya on the travel time to get to a game, it's about the same to get to Joe Louis where I'm at and the streets in downtown Detroit can get you clogged up in traffic forever, especially if you don't know your way around. Luckily though I know the ultra secretive Detroit Native back way *pumps fist*, just never had to use it to get to a wings game.

Well lets hope you ditch that class to see at least one game soon. Or even better, they play on a day other than Thursday, then you don't have to miss out on the education your paying for.

Not really on the topic of Hockey, but the Patriots are playing the Colts tonight on Monday night football. I'm seriously having trouble staying still.

The season tickets for the coyotes are obscene. My mom gets a free ticket because a friend of hers bought season tickets, which is how she gets there. As for being sold out, that probably would never happen out here. Though I suspect the Coyotes would kill to have that.

With this area it's not so much the streets (though the streets in phoenix are fucked up) but that there is always construction somewhere. We usually get there by taking a street a few blocks from here that changes names when it gets to Phoenix. I'm not sure how my mom gets there from campus.

They just like to make things difficult for me. I can't skip English because we have to be there. Huge project, and our teacher is anal. I only go to games lately that I know players on the opposite team. I haven't thrown on a Coyotes jersey in about four years. At least it feels that long.

Oh I can imagine trying to afford season tickets, they do make them ridiculous, but I guess alot of people are still able to have 'em like it's nothing. I could only wish to know someone that could hook me up, I used to have a friend who worked at the Palace, and used to get me into Pistons games whenever I wanted, I need a friend that works at Joe Louis.

Construction is another major problem downtown here as well, but I guess you get used to it considering it never actually makes any progress, so it just kinda becomes part of the city. The Superbowl is here in February, and can only imagine all of the problems we are going to have downtown, I won't be going down there that's for sure.

Don't wanna mess up your grade for a single game, you could light a fire somewhere, they can't hold it against everyone that they weren't there, I mean the place was on fire. Maybe a little far to go though.

You know you mentioning a coyotes jersey reminded me I used to have a Federov Wings jersey, and I completely forgot I had it, and now it's no where to be found. Someone fucking robbed me. I think my old roomate probably snagged it when we moved out of my apartment. <_< Bummer.

A friend of mine had season tickets every year for Phoenix and Chicago because he went back and forth so often he figured what the hell. Now he's back in Chicago so I can't steal them from him <_< Useless boys

Parking is eh anyway and it's out in the middle of what used to be farm land. My mom said she walked out and it's like a wall of cow smell

They're building a light rail out here that goes from downtown Phoenix, through the university and into the town over. So there's that. And of course the arena is now out in the middle of no where, so you have to get through the city and THEN meander out there, trying to figure out where the hell you are.

Maybe if I'm lucky it'll be a paper turn in day the next game We usually show up, sign the attendence, turn in our papers and leave. Which would fit perfectly with a game. Here's hoping.

Oh god. We have so many jerseys. Some from Esche (goalie in Philly), Amonte, and Roenick. Most of the Roenick ones are signed because he signs everything. Of course the ones I can't find are mine. Good thing I don't play anymore
