Things have been about normal lately, just watching the Patriots loseing to the Colts <_< Other than that it's been good. Lost my internet for so long, had so much stuff to look through when I came back here. How are things on your half of the world?

Parking is eh anyway and it's out in the middle of what used to be farm land. My mom said she walked out and it's like a wall of cow smell
At least you can identify what the hell the smell around your arena is. 
Detroit is one of the worst smelling places I have ever been, and there is no visible source of where the smell is coming from. At first you figure, the sewers are blowing out steam, so that would be the likely source, but no, you walk near that and you smell nothing but watery air. Seriously, if someone can explain to me where that smell comes from, I'll sleep better at night knowing that much.
That arena sounds a lot like the Palace here, it's kind of set back from the main trafficked areas, and you feel a little like you're in the country. Detroit has one of those railways as well, though it's pretty filthy, not sure if I would want to take a ride on that thing, but it does make getting around the city much easier, I can imagine it will help out with traffic out there if they can get those people on it, which shouldn't be too difficult to do.
Oh god. We have so many jerseys. Some from Esche (goalie in Philly), Amonte, and Roenick. Most of the Roenick ones are signed because he signs everything. Of course the ones I can't find are mine. Good thing I don't play anymore
Wish I had that Federov jersey signed, though it would suck twice as bad that it's gone if it were signed. You get in trouble for showing up in a makeshift jersey cuz you can't find your official one? Just show up with a big sweater with your number painted on it, just go straight to the ice before anyone can asay anything.

I've noticed your absence 
I was interested hockey when I was young. Not fully into it, but I got started with it, but then it's non-existant in Australia so I never really got into it. It's still a cool sport though (Y)

My mother reminded me of something today re the coyotes playing. If you've ever seen Miracle, there's a part where after the game they get in trouble and have to skate from line to line until they fall over and some start getting sick. WELL Gretzky got pissed off a game or two ago and ran the guys through that.
Which I think might explain their playing lately.
I haven't seen it, but hell yeah, that would make me not want to play so bad if that was what was gonna happen every time. 
I would be on my best game after having something like that to go through. Maybe he'll be good for the team afterall.
Gretzky... haven't heard that name in a long time. Is he coaching now? Sorry I don't get to watch hockey down here and it's probably been about 8 years since I last cared enough hockey to keep up with it
He's co-owner and now coach of the Phoenix Coyotes. I haven't cared much about the team to really say any more than that.
who do you support? I think I remember the Coyotes... was it a green uniform? bear in mind this may be a while ago...
They were in green for a while, but with the new ownership are in what I like to call clone redwing jerseys.
And I follow Calgary now. If only because that's where Amonte is. I still watch Coyote games from time to time, but I'm annoyed with the team so eh. They haven't been treating their fans well, or the charities they support either.
It figures the only Red Wing I like is a healthy scratch.
