Do guys really care about weight?

No one get me wrong. I am one who really doesn't care much about looks when it comes to dating another person. Heck the last guy I liked (notice I didn't say went out with, he only saw us as friends) was overweight but he was an amazing person and I loved spending time with him. His being overweight didn't change that. I can even say that he could have been bald and I wouldn't have cared. But I am sick of my dating life being so bad because a lot of the guys I have met have such high standards. In fact I haven't gone dating in veeeery long while because I have had so many bad experiences with looks/ expectations and stuff like that. It sucks like hell getting dumped because you are gaining weight or get turned down because you're not good looking enough. Yes all that has happened to me many times. But like I mentioned earlier maybe it's just the area where I live. People are so looks obssesed around here. At the college I go to there aren't many girls that look heavy at all. The bathrooms are packed in the morning with girls trying to put on masks of make-up. And a lot of them are exercise/diet obssed. So I have decided to just forget about guys for a while and focus on my studies for now. When I transfer somewhere else I hope things will be different. However I started this thread because I was thinking what if things aren't different. Are there alot of guys like that everywhere. I had no problems at all before I gained 45 pounds. So it just has me thinking it's all because of the weight.
I think there are some shallow people everywhere, but there are also people who will appreciate your beauty.

What's the difference, Ed? Someone who is disgusted by cellulite and saggy boobs will suddenly be ok with them because it's part of the aging process?

I don't want my girl to be much older than me...so they should NOT have saggy tits or fat bellies. But they might have cellulite - as much as I detest it 98% of teenage girls and older have it.
Adri has small boobs though. She has a nice ass kinda.Yes personality does matter greatly. But it doesn't change the fact that you are judged by your looks. There are many guys and heck girls too that will turn down someone because of their looks. Job interviews and other things like that can be added to this too. Lets expand this a little more further than weight. Lets add the whole thing to to it. Bad hair, cellulite, stratch marks pooch ect.BTW when guys say they like curves I assume they mean big boobs and big booty. Because there are heavier girls that don't have as much going on for the boobs or booty like apple shapes. As for what I mean by skinny, younger Adriana Lima, and Raica Oliveira are considered curvy by my guy friends because they have big boobs. But they are considered very skinny for their weight/height. So by skinny I mean they don't look big in any way.
Almost everyone has cellulite. KK is sexy.
Of course they do!!! If they dun care about weight then how r they gonna date girls...Some gurls dun mind fat guys..but some really object to date fat guyz..4 girls..i should say..ALL of THEM CARE about their weight cuz its part of their BEAUTY!!!

I won't complain about weight. I will complain about lifestyle though. Plump if for me is fine as long as it's healthy.
Hmm...I'm going to be honest, weight kind of does matter to me. If I was to date a girl, I'm not looking for Miss Universe or anything, but just someone who treats their body with care. Brenda Song for example is a perfect girl in my opinion. Her thighs are a little thick, but she takes care of the rest of her body. Mariah Carey is another good example. She may look a little thick, but I'm fine with that.
I could sit here and say my weight doesn't bother me but it does. I always feel like if I lost so much weight I would look so much better. Then comes the losing the weight part and it seems like no matter what I do I can't lose any! It's so frustrating!

that's how I am, I know what you mean
Well...I for my self don't know how but I just lose weight by myself 
For example for a month I lost 4 kg 
but it really doesn't bother me And i really find it stupid if a guy cares a lot of weight than for the personality...with this I don't mean the post of bluestars87...beacuse like he saidbody care is more important

I think this question has some kind of a weird content. bcoz it depends from guy to guy , i mean you are what you eat & your body is what you do 4 it. if you care you care if not then you'll gonna be a fat ass if you eat junky stuff & do no exercise! If you wanna be a good looking person you do something about it. Do guys care about weight? i'd say 60% no & 40% yes ... but i could be wrong.
Anyhow, skinny guys are totaly un'hot ... i'd say that a ok looking guy should be just normal. not fat, not skinny, just normal ...

I think the same about girls. I don't like girls who have like under a 20" waistline unless it is proportional to thier body. Girls should not dissapear when the turn sideways.

The guys over 50% in Korea think this girls is the good example for chubbiness and always talk about her that she's chubby and she has to reduce her weight but they like her because she is pretty looking.
And they even prefer tiny and skinny girls to tall and curvy girls
