yeh.. but.. what I saw on tik tok it's was good for VS to put Gigi to open the show.. since she was the face of the brand in the last months, using her even in the bus to announce the comeback of the show .. so it wasn't a surprise. But, after saying this .. she didn't had the strength to hold the wings, the wings almost fell off.. theses new models doesn't have the power to hold on a heavy wing.. like Karolina, Heidi, Adriana, Alessandra.. Alessandra walk pregnant of her second baby and got to wear a heavy wing in 2011.

Show was not bad, outfits were mid they can do much better, still not into the hf models (but i have to admit some of them looked pretty good), hated the hair specially the bun, performances of Lisa and Tyla were pretty good, Cher was meh. I really liked Awar Odhiang and Vittoria for the newbies 

I loved Imaan, Alessandra, Irina and Bella❤️. It was great to see modelling legends such as Eva, Tyra, Kate and Carla, however, I think I would have preferred to see Helena Christensen, Daniela Pestova or Stephanie Seymour instead of Carla and Kate.

I watched the show and I sat on it before giving my overall review:

Stage and looks wise:

It looked cheap, tbh, the outfits... Idk who did the tyling but yikes. The wings looked cheap, most girls were covered or it was straight up ugly, there was a solid 10 decent outfits.

The performers:

Tyla should had being the only performer tbh, she was the only who how to make her presence known while interacting with the models and knowing her place on the runway.

Cher was Cher okay.

Lisa... no comments tbh.

The segments:

You couldn't really tell, by watching it, what every segment was about because it wasn't cohesive, you could barely see the outfits because it was way too fast pace, the camera work was atrocious too.

Gigi's outfit was an Adriana type of outfit and I'll die on this hill, I know she gave her all, but that opening just wasn't for her. Also, when I saw four girls behind her, I though: oh, Adriana, Candice, Alessandra and Behati, but I was wrong... Imaan was AMAZING.

Adriana looked gorgeous.

Candice body was BODYING, but she looked miserable and like she didn't want to be there and she didn't even post anything about it and was nowhere to be seen at the after party... I wonder was happened, I love her, but sister was pissed.

Alessandra looks fresh as ever.

Behati was kind of there.

Barbara was beautiful.

Irina did the damn thing.

Joan was great. 

And the others... Well, they were there but it moved so fast that you could barely tell them apart.

I'll give a 3.8/10. No their worse, but damn it was cheap looking.

I think Candice  is just tired, she worked hard fitness for her body, she need rest. Many people  said that Candice  was pissed but lol

I also wondered what was up with Candice.. she is usually so smiley on the runway but looked like she didn't want to be there. Maybe she thought she was opening and they switched to Gigi last minute 😂

Do yall think Naomi Campbell was punching the air seeing the return of VS and so many older models being cast? She really shot herself in the foot when she said they couldn't afford her so that's why she never got an Angel Contract. I'm sure some will argue that this is beneath her but I feel like that could be said for a few of the current models but they still did the show.

No she did the "show" last year. If she wanted to be there im guessing she would. 

Watched the all thing again. Irina and Imaan were my two faves for sure. FOR. SURE. 

Irina's outfit was my favourite out of the whole show. 

As someone who drew over 300 VSFS outfit ideas, I was obviously the most curious about what the collection would look like. I immediately noticed how toned down the outfits are - less embellishment, more focus on underwear pieces making the collection reminiscent of the 1999/2000 show. But since I consider the apex of the VS show to be around 2003-2006 (which is the standard that I tried to reach whenever I designed my own VSFS outfit ideas), the 2024 collection looked too simple as it lacked that kind of intricacy. It reminded me more of an Etam show collection than hitting the essence of a VS show collection. The weakest part of the show when it comes to the outfits are definitely the wings - the new ones looked janky while recycling so many wings from the past gives of the impression that there's a lack of inspiration. 

Some songs were nice. I liked the mash-up of the first segment and the first song that Tyla performed. In fact, I wished they could return to more mash-ups than live performances.

I was pleasantly surprised to see some of the newcomer models like Maty Fall or Mika Schneider. These were models that I had on my radar for the past couple of years and wondered if they would have been cast for the show in recent years if the VS show never got cancelled.

All in all, I feel neutral about the show.

Nah I actually agree she looked pissed, even in the early backstage pictures she looked pissed, she did not show up to the after party and apparently there were some shady captions on her insta (or her friends' insta) as well. I wonder if something was changed last minute? IDK but her vibe was definitely off and I don't think it's tiredness

I don’t see her. Where did you see her? Unless she was in the audience it probably wasn’t her bc she left VS like 2 yrs ago.

Maybe I saw it wrong, I saw her in the woman putting Ashley's earrings on the beginning of the video. But I imagined I was wrong because I remeber all the old crew of her, Sophia and Ed being ejected!

I zoomed in and don’t believe it’s her. They do kinda look alike so I understand why you thought it was her
