If you're going to have sex before marriage, make sure it's with someone that is special. I don't think you should give it away to someone that isn't special. I'm waiting for marriage. BUT if I find someone that I have an honest connection with, why not?

And I would not date that kinda girl, sex is for me so important thing in the relationship...

No really? We all remember when Adriana's GQ interview came out and some didn't belive her others said good for her. So my question yo you all is What are your thoughts on people that want to stay virgins until marriage. Would you date one? Why or why not?

i dont see anything wrong in waiting. some people are just more sexual than others and prefer to explore that though, so its just personal preference.

I know this is a strange topic for me to make my first post on but what the hell...

I respect everyone's beliefs on the subject. I don't think anyone should just jump into bed with anyone(even if I did at the age of 13) but I certainly don't think you should wait for marriage. I'm a 28 year old man and I don't feel any worse off for having had my first time so young with someone I had met 2 days before hand. I've had many sexual relationships since then, am married, and quite a few have been special and some have not been so much. The more casual experiences of my life have done nothing to devalue the ones I have with my wife every night. That being said, I'll admit that I grew up in a family where many different religions were practiced. My mother and sister are Catholics, my dad a Christian, my grandfather a Catholic, my grandmother a Pagan, Aunts and Uncles who're Methodist, and myself being a Pagan. So I certainly grew up in a household and family where the exchange of ideas was pretty open and I wasn't raised with the "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" mentality.

Morally speaking, it is more special with someone you're in love with. Feelings turn simple f*cking into making love and therefore something special. There's nothing wrong with a good f*ck though. Sometimes, you just need the affirmation it brings and my shrink told me that many studies actually suggest that casual sex is therapeutic for single people with depression, anxiety, and sleeping issues.

Which brings me to my real point here. Medically speaking, more and more studies are being published that suggest it's actually unhealthy to wait, especially for women. Considering the average age most people get married, according the latest government census reports, is 27 for men and 25 for women, you actually face health problems by waiting.

At least according to the Rutgers University study and the WHO studies on the subject of long term health effects of waiting for sexual activity. It's been discovered by both that women in particular suffer a greater risk of cancer, viral infection, anemia, eating disorders, stress related issues, and intestinal problems of all kinds after the age of 50 if they do not have sex before the age of 21.

We didn't face these problems before because the average age of marriage for girls 100 years ago was 19. 100 years before that it's 16.

Add in the fact that the most common reason for divorce is sexual incompatibility I think it's probably better if you have sex with that person you're considering marrying some day.

Just my overlong and rambling opinion.

The fewer people you've slept with, the better a catch you are. (at least thats what I believe!)

It's disgusting how many people sleep around. I for one adore the fact that my boyfriend has been with very few sexual partners, and has never tried any drug. It's cute.
