I knew that...

when this happens to me I just look at them in the eye and say, "uhh no, I'm sorry"

It sounds harsh but I've had bad experiences with people when I've tried to say no nicely. Why? because if you say no nicely a lot of guys are persistant (especially at clubs and bars). They sometimes think you are playing hard to get when you are trying to play impossible to get.
