Jasmine looks like Kim Kardashian pre-surgeries

Princess Aurora resembles Claudia Schiffer

Belle looks like Miranda Kerr

Pocahontas is stunning

Ariel looks too childish? I mean, her face never looked 'too mature' but on this drawing, she looks to young somehow.

Ursula is drawn so well!

Megara-the worst

Mulan-ok, but there's something off about the drawing

That said, I admire people with drawing skills, cause I am not good at it at all

Same here

but Lay, no Kim Kardashian, please I love Pocahontas the most, she is simply stunning and agree, Ariel looks so childish, but... she was like 15 or so in the movie, right?

Princess Jasmine is gorgeous. And what do you think about Esmeralda? I was stunned by her

Well, Kim wasn't that bad (physically-wise that is) pre-surgeries, now she's too plastic she looks like her mum's sister.

Yes, Ariel was very young, but on this picture, she looks max. 12. Pocahontas is my favourite drawing from these, and Esmeralda also looks great.

How did she look like before surgeries? Have you any pics?

Yes, that is right... she really looks very young - but still beautiful and Pocahontas and Esmeralda just rock...!

But tell me more about you Lay, how are ya, what´ya doing and all! Haven´t heard from you for some time!

OH MY not only you got it absolutely right, but that Rimmer gif... that is one of my most-favourite scenes ever thank you I absolutely love that

Phew, I was worried about attempting that! I think if I were to ever get a tattoo, I'd get an 'H' on my forehead like Rimmer.

looool Now that would be EPIC Oh, did you know that The Cat is going to be in Czech Republic for a festival??

Oh, I didn't know that. What kind of festival? He must get around though, I was briefly watching a new show yesterday where he was playing a Jamaican policeman. I hardly recognised him at first - his hair and beard are almost totally grey these days.

Mulan-ok, but there's something off about the drawing

It's the cartoonish lips, I think. They don't look hideous or anything, but you can tell something is slightly iffy about them. Belle kinda reminds me of Ellen Page, Ariel looks like a slightly younger Cintia Dicker, and Pocahontas like a much younger Tia Carrere. Megara just looks like she's had a few too many.

Yeah, I´ve read that too and it was hard to recognize him... they all´ve got so old I mean, it´s natural, but I was used to seeing them in the series, thought them to be unageable somehow

It was scifi/fantasy festival in Prague

Thank you tran yeah, I did how bout you? Any news?

Not doing much on the house now that the weather is getting colder. (By 'weather getting colder' I mean daytime highs of less than 10C. Yes, I admit it I'm a wimp. ) We've had an estimate done for a new kitchen but probably won't get it fitted until spring.

I just discovered Dewi Driegen. She did some of the earlier VS shows.

She looks like she was designed in a lab, doesn't she?

http://www.bellazon.com/main/index.php?showtopic=234

(Her thread in TFS is much more extensive.)

Do you guys like Caroline Winberg?

Me no both are beautiful but absolutely not my type of girls. They lack something for me

Personality, I think. The sense that you know, just by looking at a few pictures, what sort of a person a particular model is. I think models with lots of personality tend to be very popular here like Behati Prinsloo or Nina Agdal.

its monday for us yes, and of course i WILL take pics of my hanna, and post for you to see lollllllllll, you should dress up your kitties lollllll

lol, I think they would tear it off, those little wild creatures and I can´t wait to see Hanna

I also have something for you (and others as well) that I came upon this morning:

Princess Jasmine from Disney's Aladdin comes to "real" life via a graphic artist's rendering

We’ve always loved the Disney princesses in a fairy tale sense, so we’ve never imagined they were real. But one graphic design student at the Arts University College at Bournemouth in the UK had the creative idea to bring Disney characters to life using photo manipulation. Jirka Väätäinen told us, “I've always been interested in the way people look and what makes them unique in their appearances. This was a personal challenge for me to see if I could recreate characters that we all know and love, and try to maintain their unique features. The end results are what I would imagine the characters to look like in ‘real life,’ while still staying somewhat true to the unrealistic quirks in their original character designs.” Väätäinen said his interpretations of eight Disney princesses and one villain were created by combining elements from different photos of women who resemble the characters. He then creates composite images through digital painting and then puts them together using Photoshop. The results are stunning and completely entertaining.

Check out all of Väätäinen’s Disney-inspired art here in this slideshow. We’re hoping he’ll add Snow White, Cinderella, Tiana, Rapunzel, Alice, and Tinker Bell soon. Some of them look very realistic, like our favorite, Princess Jasmine from “Aladdin.” Let us know which you like the best.

Princess Jasmine - absolutely stunnning

2llzlhw.jpg

Princess Aurora of "Sleeping Beauty" looks like a supermodel. Those cheek bones!

169n6km.jpg

Pocahontas is working some Barbie-like proportions.

1c5lt.jpg

Beautiful Belle may not fall for Beast right away, but he'll find a way to win her over.

2ptvs48.jpg

We can understand why everyone is obsessed with Esmeralda, the stunning gypsy in "The Hunchback of Notre Dame."

oawwhj.jpg

If mermaids were real, Ariel of "The Little Mermaid" might look like this.

jrspwn.jpg

Ursula the sea witch from "The Little Mermaid" was based on the actor/drag queen Divine. We can see the resemblance!

nv4caq.jpg

Megara from "Hercules" looks like she's up to no good. Perhaps because she had to work for Hades.

14mzazl.jpg

And here's his latest addition: Mulan!

wl3itd.jpg

Who do you guys like the most? I think they are all awesome!

I've seen some of these before on a blog somewhere. I like Jasmine and Aurora but Belle is my favourite even though she looks younger than I would have imagined her. One or two of the pictures do look a little odd to me however. Esmeralda does look gorgeous from the shoulders up but her body seems oddly twisted to me. Also, don't you think Ariel's tail is too small for her body.

Speaking of mermaids, what do you think of this one?

post-43929-1320236309_thumb.jpg

Her name is Hannah Fraser and she describes herself as a professional mermaid.

post-43929-1320237420_thumb.jpg

Now she's really living the fantasy!

Personality? Maybe behind-the-stage or in interviews but I don't think that pictures gives me much to work with since models are mostly in a sense... acting in front of the camera. In my view, some models are better at acting than others and/or possesses a certain combination of features and facial muscles that may be more effective at presenting a state of mind than others.

A woman's personality- serious or playful or whatever doesn't mold the neutral state of face very much. I think that fashion photography tends towards artificiality: So when I admire beautiful women I, more often than not, resort to choosing their personality for them.

Behati seems like a Bohemian person, very happy and distant from the everyday battles of life. Nina hasn't left me any real impression- besides the fact that she seems to be a teenage party girl. (probably the quiet & simple type too.. that is ogled frequently in the club just for being there..)

And Caroline is a Swedish town girl at heart..and is enjoying herself as a once-in-a-lifetime socialite in the Big Apple at the same time...:-p

Behati and Nina are just gorgeous Behati is so endearing, her personality shines out from her and Nina seems to be very funny, happy person.

I´ve seen a document about her! She´s amazing - swimming with dolphins, really, can it get more perfect and dream-like? A living mermaid, even if a false one, is something to look at for sure

It´s not a real personality we´re talking about, I think. It´s how the girls impress us - and Caroline impresses me like... vague kind of person, I just don´t see anything about her - she is beautiful, but lacks some sparkle of life for me. I don´t know her in person, she can be cool and great and fun to be with as anyone - this is just how I feel when I look at her pictures or see her walking

^I have to say I find Caroline Winberg boring on the catwalk. I find it perplexing, what with how VS execs continually telling us they cast models with "personality" (lies, anyway <_< ), that she's been a stalwart since 2005?!?! Of course, in real life she might be quite wonderful - what do I know anyway?

And yes, fully behind you with Anja - not sure what that casting is about, but it goes against their much vaunted remit...

Flavia too! Adored her in 2006, where she came across as slightly unhinged which is an exciting quailty in a beautiful woman. Always happy to see her there.
