Oh, Rosetta Stone is computer-assisted language learning software. Books in audio basically. Heard it worked wonders for a few co-workers who needed to learn/improve a 2nd or in some cases 3rd language

But so far I think your on the right track with the books you have since i don't know any to recommend at the moment. Plus notes always help during lecture So pay attention

LOL and i don't blame you for NOT reading such books. Such material drives me nuts so it's why i hang around those that speak the language I need to learn to really soak it up

But something tells me you don't have many large groups of those who speak Spanish in your area eh?

Erm... no, not really it´s more probably that I meet an English speaking person than a Spanish speaking person... and even if I would meet such, I know I´d be freezed to death by this weird block I have... I had the same with English, I just could not speak... no matter how long I´d been learning the language. Then, once, I got drunk in the timber hut with a fellow friend of my friend that was from France (insane, he spoke French, English, Italian, Spanish, two Arabic dialects - damn that man!!) and we talked in English... suddenly my block disapeared

How long have you been learning Spanish?

Hey Tran, really nice to see you here after some time
Thanks Jennka. I know I'm always sure of a warm welcome on this thread.
Thank you for the links, he seems to have really great drawings! I love Ducktales, btw
I like the Star Wars pictures but they're all of a very high quality. Hard to distinguish from real Disney artwork in places.
How are you anyway?
I'm good thanks. My partner has been working away from home since Christmas so I've been off work a lot, being the house husband. As a result I haven't had much time to go online but now I'm back at work that should change. (Actually, that that sounds like I hardly do any work when I'm at work. That is not true... well not that true. )

agreed, but i like unqiue sometimes, yes LIMA isnt as unqiue as daria, lolllllllllll, but i do like more than just lima. Daria's bone struture, form, which isnt as bone thin as alot of the HF models, and i like that, her skin tone is exotic as well, loving the very dusky look it has, but the eyes its all about the eyes. K13275027332514649_1.jpg, I need to make some sets of her. as for the animals and healing properties, I think its because the person feels the center of that animals world, that they are loved and cared for totally no strings attached, and thats a beautiful thing

Oh, I love that pic of hers and yes, she has very alluring eyes very nice bone structure, and wonderful personality... I just so love Daria!! I´d be grateful for sets with her

yeah, and take dogs - especially them - how thankfull they can be, how blinded when it goes to someone they love and consider their "master". Sometimes it´s insane... and sometimes it´s not fair at all.

those eyes SWOONSSSSSSS, lolllllllllllll, agreed with you about the dogs, humans dont always treat them like they should, its heart breaking, because dog's arent able to always defend themselfs, and if they DO its their fault, not saying at times there are dogs that are violent and hurt people but its usually due to being TRAINED that way, or by bad treatment. THen we have cats, AWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE my little mr poopie, as i call my cat legs sometimes, is a DIVA, lollllll goes around the house moewing his head off like, bitches PLEASE, bow the knee before my kitty greatness

LOL, I like your idea on how to get rid of certain mind-blocks to acquire new knowledge. From now on I'm getting drunk anytime i need to study new material....just seems more appropriate that way

I had a feeling not to many people of Spanish speaking ability lived near your area, but at least u got English out of your way

I've been speaking Spanish since i was a child. HUGE Hispanic population in California so I was constantly around freinds who spoke it and naturally i picked it up with time.

That must have been a real shock, Joe... whow. How did you cope with it??

There wasn't much to cope with since the relationship didn't last long . At the time I though I was doing something for dating an older girl, but it later turned out she was just dating me to make someone jealous . Though she said that she had learned to like me I just overstated my hurt from that mainly because by that time I was looking for a way out anyway and I'm not good at giving break up speeches or whatever .

I´ve hear that in Japan it´s quite regular, all these surgeries... I just don´t get it. They so much want to look any way than they actually look - while they actually look amazing (I mean, not ALL asian women, but generally, the asian types) - it´s just insane.

Yeah, I definitely agree with that . Its probably hard for other cultures to understand, but self depricating or thinking of yourself in the way of looks isn't frowned upon in some Asian cultures as it is in most other cultures. I've always found that really unfortunate though and never really understood it much. Although, the average person in that culture might not necessarily have the same leven of issues as someone in an American, European ect. culture who's considered to have what we call self esteem issues overall. Its hard to explain .

THAT is a really fit woman? I thought it was a really ugly man that

Hey B, thank you for voting in my comp... that was so nice of you
^I felt it only right to tell you that it was as a favour to Prettyphile (after she went to the trouble of making me a new set!), I didn't even look to notice it was your comp!

As you know, I abhor the polls - and to even look lest my eyes be blighted by what's "winning"! But I am easily bought should you need a vote one way or the other...

I hope you don't think less of me? And I figured I'd answer you here as my thread's got no passing trade, but at least I have the solace of you!

I woke up at 3 AM in the morning frozen and shaking in a 65 degree regulated bedroom. I put on a coat and went back to sleep.. I'm tired and my muscles are stiff & sore but otherwise there's no sign of nasal congestion or a cold as of yet.. my temp is at 37.5 c :=(

Lol don´t worry, I´m the same... I´m mostly connected to internet only at work, so I try to dedicate it to BZ most of the time... at home, I rarely have time to log on. For most of the time I manage to do my work and be here.... sometimes it´s not possible but I wake up early and come to work at 6:30, so in the morning at through lunch I always find the time

Since Christmas?? Oh my. Do you miss her much? When fl left for week I was going crazy... could not sleep well, nothing really interested me... how do you cope with it?

There wasn't much to cope with since the relationship didn't last long . At the time I though I was doing something for dating an older girl, but it later turned out she was just dating me to make someone jealous . Though she said that she had learned to like me I just overstated my hurt from that mainly because by that time I was looking for a way out anyway and I'm not good at giving break up speeches or whatever .

So it came in quite handy I understand? you wanted to get rid of her anyway? lool, my first "love" - first guy. I was 15, he was a year older than me, and I was so in a teenage love. Our relationship lasted for month - I decided to split with him because I realized.... well, that he wasn´t really what I was looking for. Always "so cool" and always "a tough guy" "iron steel nerves" and well, I was young and stupid too and jealous at that time, and he wasn´t all that bad - however, I was thinking how to tell him that our relationship is gone... so I went out with him, told him what I did not like and he was like "You will never change me, right? You will never change me!!" all the time, and I was like "Ok, I don´t want to change you, I want to break up with you!" and he was still his "You will never change me, right? Because this is the way I am!!" and again I "OK damn let´s just break up and have this done finally!!" and guess what... "You will never change me!!"

so I just stood and waited till he ended his speech and then I repeated what I said, and finally, he was ok with it. It was a bit sad but surprisingly I did not cry at all, even when I came home, I felt like a stone has fallen off my heart. What more saddened me was that minutes after I broke up with him, another friend of my (very, very good friend) asked me to date him I was like, damn, those are MINUTES I just broke up with a guy, hello!! Of course I rejected him... and our friendship ended as well, and this time I cried.

Freakin love, eh?

Yeah, I definitely agree with that . Its probably hard for other cultures to understand, but self depricating or thinking of yourself in the way of looks isn't frowned upon in some Asian cultures as it is in most other cultures. Do you think that some Asian think that if they´ll look like Europeans / Americans, their life will be better?

I could tell by your response that there must not be many women like that over there, so I was wondering if I should shield her from the horrors of the world or explain what I meant and being me I chose to explain what I meant .

Lol, Joe. No, there are not many women that look like this at your place are?

^I meant nobody is coming into it and posting at the moment. It's (I guess) an economic term about shops having a 'passing trade', i.e you walk along the street and pop in because you suddenly see what you want in the window or remember you need something...

Forgive me if I've asked you before, but do you and FL know anything about mushroom picking/foraging? It's something I've always wanted to do but the idea that the wrong one could kill you fills me with trepidation! I figured your "woodland ways" might entail some knowledge of this art...
