Doing OK in Japan that way too. The local whiskies are awesome - they export these ones too and I highly recommend them if you should see them in California:
Remember: For relaxing times, make it Suntory time... ![]()

^I'm in the UK at the moment, trying to sort out my complicated citizenship now so I missed this... Mind you, this kind of Godzilla shit is always newsworthy in Japan. So much so that I'm never sure if something is real or not!
Honestly, deciphering fact from fiction is waaay beyond my current language skills. I try and work things out with the help of the english language NHK World TV and NEVER go in the sea...
Oh, and don't think I didn't notice the Backdoor Santa reference in your profile - Ho Ho Ho!

Sorry! Yes, busy Saturnalia and neglecting to get back in that BZ groove... ![]()
I'm leaving this here, in lieu of the news. A little trite maybe but what else can you do? It's probably my favourite - with him it's difficult to decide.

I've had Japanese whiskies on my list of spirits to buy. Of the few bottles I've been interested in so far, they have ALL been sold out
Japanese brands have been racking up awards and high praises by many. Only a given one would buy a bottle after so much high praise ![]()
I shall post the bottle of my eventual choice once I get my hands on one and give my review on it
Egészségedre!

Well, since you picked up on my random 'David Copperfield' jab, I didn't expect to get past you with much
. Of course, you mentioned that you were born around where Dickens was, but still a small line in a fat book anyway
! Speaking of the U.K. and books, could you by any chance (in case you're a fan of any) vouch for any Pride and Prejudice movies? I like the book, but haven't been able to bring myself to choose one of the many screen adaptations.
If you don't mind, Joe, I am a big P&P fan and the newest one with Keira Knightly was my favorite. ![]()

I do have a fondness for Colin Firth's Darcy in the '95 mini series, but overall the movie was better.

^I presume you're aware of this:
Slight liberties with the source material, I'm sure...
If I recommend any, it would be the 2000(ish) version of Mansfield Park which I rather enjoyed but didn't get much fanfare at the time. Emma Thompson's Sense & Sensibility is good too - with a pre-annoying Kate Winslet, before she turned into an awful caricature of how British actresses are supposed to be in Hollywood. ![]()

Still here... What's there to do?

Come vote in my comp? Check out the giant shit show that is the VS/SI threads, and start to crush on all the new modely faces imo

And you can also make us a private poll dance, just sayin' ![]()

IMHO other suggestions are needed guys- something to exercise Baron's interest in creative writing and lampooning. And something with an audience, of course.. ![]()
