I didn't actually live there, I'm from Buenos Aires. But then there was this conflict in the early 80's between Argentina and the UK over these islands - and my British mother was getting abuse and we had to leave. It was all national fervour and propaganda on both sides, and a lot of young men died unnecessarily. A sad time...
