how to make HQ pictures from hereI really need this
I think your best plan is to use the Zoom function of Internet Explorer (IE) to make the image bigger, then use the PrtSc button to take a screenshot. It helps if you have a large screen, because then you can get more pixels. Remember always to save pictures in BMP format, because JPG can affect the quality.
Hope this helps!

guys, how about Neiman Marcus? how does it work?this, for example: http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/catalog/...0732cat39360790
thanks in advance
Pick up the url of a thumb. e.g. the lft:
Replace the two 'g' before the last '/' and the '.' with 'z':
Gives an image 1500 Pixels high.
I found it by looking at the source.
The 5 characters after the NM are the code (sometimes starting with '-'). The rest of the pattern is the same
for the first thumb in each entry. The other thumbs tend to have a different character before the 'g', 'a' or 'b' or 'e'.
e.g. the second thumb in this entry is:
When it is 'e' it seems not to work, but when it is 'a' or 'b' it works most of the time. With 'm' it always works.
Remember to replace both of the 'g' in each case.
The site has a bad habit of hanging when it does not work, rather than telling that it is a wrong url, so don't
wait too long when it hangs.
I searched for Grazia but nothing came up?http://www.grazia-magazin.de/fashion/Runwa...-Schaad-SS-2011

^ I can't figure out how to get HQ images from Grazia, but here are some HQ shots from the same show, if that's precisely what you're looking for: http://www.vogue.it/en/shows/show/ss-2011-...r/perret-schaad. ![]()

Hi everyone, it's my first post here
So I'm trying to get HQ's pictures from this website: http://www.pulp-magazine.com/pulp_03/web.html (a magazine) but can't. the only thing I get is a .swf file like this: http://www.pulp-magazine.com/pulp_03/pages/p1.swf and when I replace .swf by .jpg for example the picture is too small: http://www.pulp-magazine.com/pulp_03/pages/p1.jpg
Thanks a lot for the help.

What you need is a program that can extract the JPEG images that are embedded in SWF files. I use swftools ( http://www.swftools.org ), a command-line program that seems perfectly good to me. Others may be able to suggest something more point-and-click.

^Thanks J@mes for you replay ![]()
I just tried but it is actually a somewhat complicated procedure, at least for me
also, is there a chance to have some unwatermarked and HQ pics from this set ![]()

Oh, did you expect us to do it for you? If it's a 'somewhat complicated procedure' for you, won't it be somewhat complicated for the rest of us too? If slave labour's what you want, I suggest you call IT support. -- J

I'm sorry if my response seemed rude; that wasn't the intent. I was merely attempting to be direct.
I curse myself for my stupidity and vow never to do it again.

Oh my god calm down. Jeeze are you always in a bad mood or are you just that way? No need for your sarcasm and why bother replying something like that to someone who was being perfectly pleasant to you? Have a lovely day, seems like you need it ![]()

I've made amends by posting a couple of dozen pictures (click to enlarge).
But if you don't want to know the answer to a question people, just don't ask it and have somebody go and check out the site for you, then say the solution is 'too complicated'. It's all about helping each other and sharing information, isn't it?
As for saying that sarcasm is unnecessary, that's a bit like saying air is unnecessary. Sure, but who wants to be a fish?

I agree its about sharing but I just thought it was unnecessary when I read it and felt you could of voiced your opinions in a different way. And others may not be as I.T literate as you and many others here thats all.
Any bdoy knows how to get HQ images from J D Williams?
Also: how do you get the swf file when it shows the zomm?
Thanks

J D Williams uses zoomify, so the images are only available as lots of little tiles. There's a useful overview of the format at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Zoomable_images with a couple of scripts for downloading and assembling the tiles. They're all a bit fiddly to install and use, because you need to install some kind of imaging library too. And of course everything works differently on different platforms.
I have my own program for downloading the tiles and assembling them, and I'm willing to fetch small numbers of images on request. Did you spot any models on the site that you know? Is this really Carla Ossa, or am I dreaming?

Thanks for the information. Not sure about Carla Ossa.
What about albamoda, e.g. this one (Elena Baguci):
http://www.albamoda.de/damenmode/shirts/la...920/detail.html

Alba Moda? Usually I have no problem, but the zoom images seem to be broken on the page you linked. -- J

In case the zoom starts to work, how you do it?

I'm sure about Carla Ossa. Nice find J@mes!

@tmariss:
I love this picture on your site (congratulations, by the way), but the zoom looks a bit fuzzy. I tried to discover where the picture came from, but with no success. Can you remember?

Best wishes,
