anyone knows how to get HQ images off Rugby.com? Thanks in advance![]()
Really like Ralph Lauren
http://www.bellazon.com/main/index.php?act...amp;pid=2614655
, but doesn't have sku=, so you need to search for s7.
For example start from here:
Open the source and look for "s7". find
s7-338406_alternate1
s7-338406_alternate2
s7-338406_standard
Put it in this pattern:
As with Ralph Lauren, the standard is the one in the entry, the alternate are the
other images. Maybe there is also lifestyle one sometime.
Note that page may contain more than one entry, if there are more than one "colours" on the right. In this case there will be more s7-* in the source
Images from otto.de / schwab.de / baur.de - summary of the all the procedure.

1. Get Live HTTP headers for Firefox (others browsers probably have similar extensions)
URL: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ad...e-http-headers/
just download and install, probably needs to restart firefox.
2. get to the entry where the image is. For example, here
http://www.schwab.de/Chillytime-Karorock/a...or=&page=10
3. Open the headers tab by menu "Tools" -> "Live HTTP Headers"
4. Click on the zoom.
5. Look at the Headers. You really need to find something that looks like this:
clientId=47ℑ=bvpa312041_0020x03b.jpg
which gives you the image id: bvpa312041_0020x03b.jpg
For example,
5. Plug this image in this pattern:
In this case gives a huge image
Note that if there is more than one picture in the entry, you need to select the one yo want.
Live HTTP headers is quite fiddly, for example you cannot select only part of a line. if you
want to get many images, it is probably better to go and zoom them all, use
the "Save All.." button in the headers tab (bottom left) and then edit the result with a decent
editor.

A bootiful summer school by pr@fessor and assistants!!! ![]()

Ah, I see your problem now. It is annoyingly fiddly. I get round this problem (a) by being able to touch-type, so that I type out the image id without thinking about it (and faster than cut-and-paste would be); and (b) by having programs for systematic downloading that accept the entire web address and pick out the image id for themselves. All I can do is sympathise!

Here's a list of known image server software, with partial lists of sites that use each one.
Zoom images are served in one piece from Metrostyle, Saks, Talbots, Venus.
For Scene7 and Zoomoviewer, we additionally know a method for getting the complete picture, sometimes scaled down a bit. The other servers use tiling schemes that require the image to be assembled after downloading.

Anyone able to help me get these images (slideshow) in HQ from GLAMOUR magazine's website?
http://www.glamour.com/fashion/2011/09/nic...-trends#slide=1
This size is all i'm able to get.

Appreciated.
Thanks.

I'm a fairly new subscriber to Zinio for reading magazines and I wonder if there's a possibility to download my 'virtual' copy of Vogue Paris in pdf?
Thanks in advance and sorry if the question was already posted in the past.

If you can't zoom in (and I can't see any way, can you?), then the likelihood is that there are no bigger pictures to get.

Your virtual copy of Vogue will never have the gloss or the feel or the smell of a real copy! Reading around the web, it seems that the ZNO files you can download and read with the separate reader program are fairly heavily protected with DRM, so converting them would be an arduous process.

I actually figured out how to get the large images from Fredericks.com on my own before I came to this thread, but the info in here sure made it a lot easier. What I need help with though is getting the alternate images from the site. Can someone tell me what Fredericks is using for the alternate image code?
I have big request for these sites:
gettyimages.com (I know trick to get them without tag, but not HQ)
news.com (I saw this request earlier, but seems nobody knows, maybe now;) - untagged these HQ
Thank you so much, even for trying!

gettyimages is easy-PAY and you shall be given ![]()

Playing a little with Live HTTP headers, I found that you can get the images with this form:
The number in just before the '?' different for different page.
The last digit (the "scl") value define the size, with 1 it is the largest.
The "rect" define the the part of the image to get.
However, it seems it restricts the size of the rect that you can get to 1000, so you cannot get
the full image image in one go.

Sorry, I made a new thread for image requests and posted the whole catalogue there, after downloading tiles and assembling them with my own software. I should have posted a note here as well. Perhaps, too, I should devote the effort into making a program others could install and use, but these things (believe me) always take an incredible amount of time if they are to work properly. And work and family do have some call on my time ...
Tmariss is right about the URL scheme, for this catalogue at least; and right to observe that you either have to get the image bit by bit, or put up with a severely scaled-down version. The 4za trick (see earlier posts) lets you get 2000 pixels, but that's nowhere near enough for the full image at full scale.

thanks tmariss, that can definitely get in use when J@mes is not around for those very very big hqs ![]()
