Does this post violate our no advertising/self-promoting rule: http://www.bellazon.com/main/index.php?s=&...t&p=2808383
Personally I don't think so. They're just giving credit to were they found the pics ![]()

^ Thanks for responding ![]()

Not sure why the Fashion Documentary thread got moved back to the Girl Talk when it is clearly an Arts-related topic. I guess there's already a lot of random threads in random places so we can add that one to the bunch.

Baby made a post about it and I moved it.
I leave it to your discretion boss
Lemme know if you want me to move it back.
i created a thread named "documentaries about fashion" in the girl Talk because here is the place where people always talk about fashion, and this thread had been moved in the art and litterature which is not the place where it should be. why had you moved my thread??? wacko.gif could you remove it into the girl talk? rolly.gifthanks.

^ Nah, it is ok. No point in moving more than 2x. Thanks!
Any thoughts on this?
wanted to see if i could bring this comp back to life http://www.bellazon.com/main/index.php?showtopic=31122, the memeber hasnt been on since Nov 2011, and id like to start it up again, what should i do to get permission?had sent this to pretty, but never heard back, can you help?

^ It seems like she (fashiondream) has already restarted it. Looks like a fun comp ![]()
Ja, but since Pink isn't responding anymore no one takes the votes. I guess LMS wants to take over the thread and do the counting and stuff ... ![]()

^ Oh I thought it was FD who PM'ed you b/c she posted something recently
If it is LMS we might want to hold on this since we are not sure what we are doing with her.
That's what just came to my mind too - but I just answered her I would get back on her anyway so no need to decide yet ![]()
Ah, so I don't know if I'm stupid or what, but when I'm in the report center and there's the reported post - how can I get to the original post? Right now I'm always using the E-Mail notification with the link in it, but I'm sure I can get to the post directly via the report in the report center ... ?

Yea its extremely user unfriendly. See attached screenshot.
Yay, thanks! ![]()

Question on siggie text size: The guidelines indicate that it should be the default size = 2. What does this # mean? There is no such number on the text size gradient in the size menu. I have noticed several siggies with large text sizes that seem clearly oversized, but I don't want to act on the situation until I am clear about this rule. Thanks in advance for your help.

^ Size 2 on the current forum is 10pt font. I think on our old forum size 2 was 12pt. Also the current default on this forum is 14pt (size 4) so I think we should up it to size 4 to match the current default.
What do the rest of you think? ![]()
As long as they don't have too many lines larger fonts are ok. Make sure the total lines of text is no higher than this:
J

Thanks for the clarification. I think updating the text size rule is definitely a good idea.
However, IMHO, I am not in favor of the exception re: Does not apply if there aren't too many lines of text for these reasons: 1) This makes the siggie more prominent the post itself 2) Large text siggies are just plain unsightly. Example: HERE (Post #32264 in Leonardo DiCaprio's Actor Thread by Nanda 23
Just my thoughts.....

^ I hear what you are saying. Large text in general can be distracting but it is esp distracting and overpowering when it is a signature. And I agree large text signatures can look unsightly. However if you think about it most of the signatures (and avatars) here are more prominent than the post itself (gifs, colorful and/or visually complex ones, ones with scantily clad models/celebs, etc). Unless we totally change the rules and be rigid about it I feel the issue is inevitable ![]()
There are many forums that let members have sets that fill up a third or more of the screen. I find it very annoying and distracting. I am glad we are not one of those forums! ![]()

I'm glad we don't allow those sigs that take up a third of the page or huge slow gifs that slow the page down
. I also don't care for huge fonts in sigs. I would however like to have more lines of text under a sig as I have to try really hard to edit mine to meet the requirements.

Is this sort of thread permissible?
http://www.bellazon.com/main/topic/40504-is-jon-kortajarena-having-an-affair-with-tom-ford/

^ Hmm....good question. It is a baiting, gossip-y and rumor-ish kind of thread. This seems to be a growing trend around here and most of these threads are located in the General Talk section. Maybe we could move the above thread there? Or just delete the thread as it is does not seem to have very many posts/interest. Somewhat of an insignificant thread. This one is your call---use your best judgment and do what you think is best ![]()
Side-Note: I will give who ever started the thread credit for not posting the BS in either Jon or Tom's threads ![]()
