Deleted cherrybomb's inflammatory post in Kate Upton's thread.

Did not raise the warn level, but instead gave an informal warning through PM.

Suspended posting ability of the member Ovenuevek for spamming. On my way now to delete all of his or her crappy posts.

I deleted the 23 or so that were left. It's easier to ask an Admin to do it, we can just delete them all at once.

I while I was in Doutzen's thread I noticed something peculiar. The way DoutzenLover_ post is very similar to the the way TheBombshell post. So I did an IP investigation and found out the following members share the IP Address 77.29.160.77:

So the complaint is both too many quotes and the negative comments?

I am not sure is there a way to limit the number of quotes per post. I will check. I think with the newer version of IPB we can do it.

Both Talisa and cherrybomb are pretty negative at times They are like that one friend who always mess up everyone mood and fun Their comments can be borderline baiting but at the same time I feel the definition is kinda blurry. Also, we all make borderline baiting comments sometimes so I am not sure what we should or can do. I agree that a warning probably wouldn't change anything We can try to encourage them to voice their unnecessary comments elsewhere---perhaps a blog or twitter?

She is definitely obsessed with this issue, though I was actually able to get through to her initially somehow and cause her to tone it down from where she started at least (as in before her negativity wasn't even practical and occured much more regularly). I'll see if I can talk to her again . It is of course at times hard to distinguish between baiting and the sensitivity of members though as you said we all make borderline comments at some point. Candice is now coming into the type of wild fandom that Adriana had in her prime, so there's no possible result of criticizing her in her thread besides an argument so even if its not baiting it should be done somewhere else.

^ Thanks Joe for talking to her I know for some people starting their own blog and/or twitter has helped them direct their negative comments away from BZ.

As for the quote thing, I think we can limited the number of quotes per page. Currently it is 10. I was thinking maybe reducing it to 5. How does that sound?

The only thing I can think of is people are forgetting their passwords and rather trying to recover them, they just make a new account?

I talked to her just now and she responded by saying that she headed what I said.

Me: I remember having a talk with you a long time ago about the whole dissing Candice in her thread thing and you stopped for a long time. The thing is, I actually think you're funny and I agree that she's too skinny and has some Playboy type poses but the issue is bigger than that. We have baiting rules here because though the statements may not be the equivalent of selling governement secrets, they result in unnecessary arguments.

You can state your opinions well enough to shame a Harvard professor's essay, but you cannot change the fact that Candice fans love Candice. You are not going to talk them out of it. Some may move on in their own way, but it will have to be their own way, not because of anything you say or do. There are other threads such as Spurious, Chat Thread, I'll Never Get Her Appeal ect. that have more liberty, but please just give up on her thread. There are tons of models I don't like and I've never darkened the door of their thread. Its just not worth it.

At first I thought she was just saying that, but looking at the dates on those posts above, they're all over a year old which is around the time I talked to her the first time. Is this person referring to those or what she's said on some other site ?

I'm also not getting the deal with this quoting thing for some reason . Is this person's problem the number of quotes or the fact that some people will quote a fifty question interview right under the original post to say 'great article' . I find that annoying myself, although I don't know if the one who wants to quote multiple responses directed at them in a discussion oriented thread should be punished as a result the same way we were all punished by losing quoted emoticons on behalf of those same type of clowns quoting a forty HQ pics right under the original post .

Since it was our system's password retrieval function that was the issue, I ...

1. Un-suspended her current account.

2. Deactivate her other accounts. All the posts from her other accounts will still be visible but the accounts are no longer active.

3. Made a note on her current account (no warning increase) about the incident.

I told her next time she has a similar issue to please contact a staff member via email instead of starting a new account.

Restored TheBombshells' posting abilities. Her explanation were: Did not receive validation email; had issues with her password; and started an account for her friend (I assume she is referring to DoutzenLover). We should still keep an eye on her.

I told her if she ever forgets your password, have issues retrieving her password, have issues logging in, or whatever,

DO NOT start a new account. Contact a staff member via email. Multiple accounts is a violation and a bannable offense. Also, if anyone of her friends want

to join BZ, they need to do it themselves---she may not start one for them. The account also needs to be started at their home and not her's.
