Just as an update. When I'm on my phone I'm not able to view reports, messages or notifications. To login I had to physically go into a thread and try to post before I could find the login function, and that was only because it prompted me to sign up/login in order to post.
I'm not sure if I'm just missing something, or if I'm blind but it doesn't seem to be the best experience on a mobile device.

Im going to play around a bit more and see if it’s just moved and I’m blind.
I just fixed the mobile nav. Please check and let me know, should be under the sandwich.

I found everything! Looks nice and clean now.

QuoteYou gotta do something about the Maggie Rawlins thread man. The last 10 or so pages are ALL reposts. Literally all of it has been posted in the thread already and theres two people just cluttering up the thread with dozens of reposts per day. You cant even find her new content without going through pages of old stuff that already exists in the thread.
Its a forum and you save old posts for a reason right? Theres 60 pages for a reason right? When I discovered Maggie in 2019, I did what a normal person would do and went through the thread chronologically. Reposting the entire topic in random order over and over makes no sense, the Maggie page is constantly on the front page with nothing but reposts, its way outta hand.
Got this complaint in my PM inbox today.
It's true that we have gotten a lot of non-recent content in the Maggie topic, but I can't honestly say for sure how much of it is reposts and how much of it is new content.

I went to the thread and it seems to me like we've just got one douchebag who is not being appreciative of another member's time and effort? Sure the pictures are old but they seem to not have been posted in her thread and everyone else seems pretty happy. And also, IIRC forum rules say you only have to check the last five pages before posting content. Are we expecting people to check 60 pages before posting content now? Because fuck that, it's unrealistic.
My only issue with the thread is the insane amount of picture quoting going on

I agree we shouldn't ban reposts. It'd be impossible to police anyway.
I guess it stands out in Maggie's topic because it seems to have gotten an explosion of activity recently.

Just wanted to apologize I haven't been on as much lately. Was just promoted and there's quite a bit of extra licensing and upgrading to do, so I'm spending a lot of time at home studying.
Once I have the additional licensing required I should be on more.

I actually reached out to the member who did all the reports and let him know the rule only states that people have to go back 5 pages to check. If he'd like to continue to report reposts I gave him the same stipulations I gave @Modelove, that they can link to the original post and we can clean up the thread that way.

Even with real reposts, I have often noticed it is not actually a repost as such. Like, if the quality is different from the originally posted photographs, it already does not qualify. And usually if picture sets are posted with large time gaps in between, they don't tend to come from the same source and the quality is different.

I’ve noted that as well. Same when people are resisting gifs vs ig videos. I’ve seen so many reports that it’s a repost

Question, I thought was a no-promotion rule and so I gave a warning to a member who has been posting his Telegram links but he said that @phenobarbie gave it the okay. Should I remove the warning point? Did something change?

I have no idea what telegram is. When I glanced at the link he provided it basically looked like an Instagram page or it’s equivalent.
I stated I didn’t think it was spam and if he posted it and we got any complaints we would remove it.

It's not fully like Instagram, it's not a social media platform, it's a messaging service, it's "safer" than WhatsApp in the way they treat people's data but it's also known for being a great portal for dodgy shit like illegal porn and human trafficking because you can't track the sender. So pretty much have zero way of knowing what this group is actually being used for unless we join.

Maybe remove the actual warning and just let him know that upon further review from the staff we have decided not to allow linking to it?
he probably shouldn’t be to heavily penalized because I gave him the wrong info based on an incorrect assumption.

Yeah I'll remove the warning 👍

Had a suggestion from a member recently regarding the potential of moving vintage model threads into their own sub forum.
I'm not necessarily down, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Some of the members have seemingly formed their own little vintage community where everyone contributes quite a lot, but the threads often get lost amongst the more current ones.

I would be down with it, tbh it is the same people in their own little, happy bubble interacting in those threads and sharing old content.

Bit of a random one for @maddog107 if I may be so bold. I received a message today via the BZ Facebook page from someone who would like to take a particular image from the forum and use it in an article. Is that something we'd need to grant permission for or could they just use it?
